I have an HTC One M7 with Hboot 1.57.0000
It was working perfectly on stock 4.4.2 ROM. But when I tried to S-Off it, I accidentally deleted the stock OS. Now currently the phone is not rooted, relocked and there is TWRP installed on it. I tried finding RUU for it but couldnt succeed. Here is what's appearing on bootloader screen:
***TAMPERED***
***RELOCKED***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.57.0000
RADIO-4T.27.3218.14

OS-5.12.707.3
eMMC-boot 2048MB
Apr 25 2014,21:3259.0
I also tried flashing custom ROM ie CM11 using adb sideload but it didn't work.
Kindly provide me with a link to either stock ROM which can be flashed with S-On or with a link to RUU.
Thanks.

There is no ruu for your phone version. push a rom to your phone using adb push if sideload doesnt work from recovery and install it. CM11 require TWRP 2.7.1.1 to flash correctly and all other 4.4+ roms require twrp 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4 to flash correctly.
To use the sideload method you need at least adb 1.0.29 (latest is 1.0.31) but adb push will works fine everytime.

Both adb push and adb sideload are not working. Previously sideload was working but now it has stopped. It gives an error adb sideload complete Failed. When can we expect a RUU for my phone version? :'(
Is there any way by which I can S-off my phone in current state? Only then I can use currently available RUU.

Sir I have now installed ViperOne 6.2.1. I then tried to S-Off using firewater, it didn't work. Then I saw a post in which a guy said that one should first install a kernel like Element to make firewater work. So I installed ElementalX and then again tried firewater. It is again giving me the same error.

I am trying to unroot my HTC One but keep running into various issues. My phone is rooted, S-On, TWRP, Hboot 1.44.0000
I have tried Moonshine and RumRunner and got the same issue where it told me to fix it (followed every step, have Win drivers and Sync Mgr uninstalled)
Tried the revone method displayed here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314582) and each time I get to the step "./revone -l(-s 0)" I get the error "...Segmentation Fault (Core Dumped) 139 :[email protected]:/data/local/tmp $"
I am running the stock rom (received at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2348502)
Any thoughts or ideas? I am at my wit's end. It seems everything I try with this phone lends to an error. Friend said I might not have SuperUser. Don't know why I wouldn't. But if that's the case, how do I get SuperUser when I'm rooted and S-On?

While trying Rumrunner I get to the step where I type "fastboot devices" in my cmd window and it never pulls anything up. Running windows 8 with all drivers properly installed/updated. Fastboot devices recognizes myphone on my mac, but I haven't seen a revone for Mac. On the PC, adb devices yields my sn, but not fastboot devices. Am I doing something wrong? Using factory installed cable, HTC Sync Manager is uninstalled (drivers remain) Fastboot is unchecked while USB Debug is checked, rebooted phone into bootloader and selected fastboot to make sure computer identifies it (phone DOES say Fastboot USB).

Revone runs on your phone, not your PC. How you get it into your phone doesn't matter, you just need to run it. You can run it from your phone in a terminal if you wish.

revone should work just fine from first go (confirmed from 15, and still counting)
you can either use it through "adb shell" or through a terminal on your phone

Oh that's the first I've heard about running revone straight from your phone. Every single thread I've seen about revone states using a pc and the sequence:
cd sdk/platform-tools
adb push revone /data/local/tmp/
adb shell
su
cd /data/local/tmp
chmod 755 revone
./revone -P
But I always get stuck on "./revone -P" with error code = -6.
I tried downgrading the Hboot but wether in CWM or TWRP, when I pu tthe Nandroid in the CWM/TWRP>Backups folder then reboot to recovery and try to restore from the nandroid, the recovery can't find the file. I made sure the zip was extracted.
Ok so now you're saying I can run revone FROM the phone? Can you please be as detailed as possible about this? Where on my phone exactly does it need to be? How do I run the program? Bootloader? Recovery? What exact steps? I am at my absolute wits end trying to get back to factory fresh. I seem to always run into some kind of error despite any method attempted.

revone won't work on the patched hboot, you need to downgrade first.
the TWRP backups are usually stored in
/data/media/TWRP/BACKUPS/<device serial number/
or
/data/media/0/TWRP/BACKUPS/<device serial number/
best way to find the location is to make a backup in TWRP of something small (eg only select boot & recovery) that only takes a second, then you can see where the backups are stored and put the one needed to downgrade there.
Fixed my issue. Ended up using a relative's Windows 7, Ran Fastboot OEM Lock, then ran the RUU now I'm good as new.

eMMC-boot 2048MB

Based on this, should I need to send it in, will AT&T have a problem?

Did I miss something I thought you were trying to get S-Off first
And I don't know about AT&T policies, but RELOCKED, definitely tells them you unlocked it. If you need to go back to 100% stock, you can check my guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541082
and going S-ON (in the guide) is strictly YOUR choice.

It's got nothing to do with the hboot version. Firewater uses an exploid that requires a certain cpu version. You have an older version so it just won't work. Maybe in the future they will do something about it who knows. But for now you are stuck

I can't find any newer version of nandroid backup for your device. Just try using a stock ROM guru reset: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_3-62-401-1-zip/
Just flash it and try the firewater method.
I hope this helps

Well I tried going back to ARHD 31.6 but still I get the same errors
Then I installed ElementalX but my phone stopped turning on so I just restored back to what I had.
I don't think S-OFF is gonna work on this phone

What ElementalX kernel version u used? The latest is not for ARHD 31.6.

What error do you receive when using firewater?
If you get the message "whelp this sucks.........." there is nothing you can do as the message says.
You must wait till new exploit will work for M7 (maybe SunShine will be updated for us).
Also wait until Sushine gets free.
U can also try ARHD and Bulletproof Kernel, or a ViperRom as firewater gets some positive feedback, see here:

Rumrunner will not work with hboot 1.56.
Post result from Firewater in Firewater thread.
Did u ensure device is booted to android with usb debugging enabled?
U typed by mistake "/data/local/tmp/firewater" twice? Reboot both device and computer and try again?
Unroot and try methode 2.

Does any genius out there know if there is any way to get S-OFF for M7_ul with HBOOT 1.44 June 2013 (the, as I've found out, patched variety) using a mac?
Tried revone and firewater with a ARHD and CM with a variety of kernels. Nothing!

Take your pick:
* rumrunner using Linux Live USB: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2606577
* firewater (if it gives "whelp this sucks..." it won't work)
* patched hboot 1.44 downgrade trick (ATT or T-Mo), links can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2431515

Thanks for your reply.
1) Tried firewater (got "whelp").
2) Looked at patched hboot 1.44 trick but I thought that only worked with windows. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
3) Haven't tried rumrunner using Linux yet. Will give it a go now.
Thanks again
Finally sorted it using rumrunner and Live USB. Thanks
Here is my problem I have a HTC one M7 which I have rooted. It has the famous purple tint on the camera and I need to send it back for warranty. I'm trying to put it back to its factory settings, which requires S-OFF and deleting the ***tampered*** sign.
This is my device:
***TAMPERED***
***UNLOCKED***
M7_VL PVT SHIP S-ON
RH
HBOOT- 1.54.0000
OS-2.24.111.3
ANDROID VERSION 4.2.2
SUPER SU INSTALLED
ROOTED
I have followed the instructions:
with revone, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43636271#post43636271
and Rumrunner, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2488772
http://rumrunner.us/instructions/
but I haven't been able to accomplish anything.
I have done the steps many times, always with the same result.
When I type:
su
cd /data/local/tmp
chmod 755 revone
./revone -P
I get the error -6.
I don't know what to do, should I downgrade? am I doing something wrong?, is there a solution? can I fix the purple tint? is my warranty void permanently?
Please help me guys.
Thanks a lot,
Vivian

What rom are you running on your phone? Rumrunner should work for you with Hboot 1.54 but it works best with the correct stock rom.
---------- Post added at 11:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:18 AM ----------
Use this Rom http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_2-24-111-3-zip/ If you need to get back to the Stock Rom. Just flash it with custom recovery Preferably TWRP 2.6.3.3. from here http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
Rom Install options choose:-
Stock Recovery = No
Stock Radio = Yes
Root = Yes
Then try rumrunner again. There is a very useful Rumeunner guide on XDA. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2488772
