Since GameKlip doesn't have one for the HTC One M8, and I don't want to attach it to a spare case, what is an alternative to it?

It got a cutout in the front, so you can handle your phonecalls without any problem.

Otterbox.com do the best ones, cheap ones on ebay are normally slightly lacking in protection for such a device

The case doesnt suck that badly. I just got it at a store from a tmobile store for 6.99, and it's the best case I've owned.
I'm looking for a hard case for the Nexus S that would be good to turn into a car mount. I'm interested in doing something similar to what this guy did for his Nexus One:
