Hi,
Would like to know if we have TWRP Recovery for Xperia SP Huashan (C5303) with Unlocked Bootloader.
Thank you.
You can get it yes look for the recovery threads in the development section for kernels with it built in (UL BL only) or theres a version for LBL.
Dude, search function...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649923
Also works on ULB
Or flash a kernel which has TWRP recovery installed. Eg. Doomkernel v13

A few months back I tried it (on ULB) and it worked.
Anyway, if you have unlocked your bootloader, simply flashboot a kernel which has TWRP included.
Both Doomlord and Williams have it. Depending on the ROM you're on, download one of these.

Dear all, I just Unlock the bootloader my Z1 C6902. And I don't know how to flash it Recovery. Anyone have it recovery?
You could try the "ROM-Manager" - App.

It's a little more complicated on Z1 as compared to other fastboot devices, you can't simply flash a recovery to the recovery partition because the Z1 doesn't have one, so the solution is to flash a kernel partition which has been modified to do a check for if the user wants to load recovery before kernel startup. There are a couple of those in the Android Development and Original Android Development boards in this section.

After flashing doomkernel, install SuperSu1.85.zip & su-bin-3.1.1-arm-signed.zip...
Root is tricky in 4.3. Even after rooting you will not be able to mount the /system partition in RW mode, but with the root you can get titanium app to work.
still can't

what's differences between BL and UL for you guys?
UL can flash kernel.
BL cannot flash kernel!
what's recovery?
some binary files that should be called before calling and starting system so it's pretty good to start in kernel before trying to start system.
but what if we can't modify the kernel?
yet we can modify the system and put some binary files in stock chargemon (when the phone trying to figure whether goes to offline charging or not) so it starts first in whole system and wait for a key, if pressed just execute the recovery!
so again, can something that specifically build for LB be flashed or run on UB?? my answer is mostly yes.
can something that needs flashing kernel or other things than system and data on LB? my answer is mostly NO
is [NUT] recovery for both ub and lb? yes! if you don't have recovery on kernel. ( or else you have two recovery one in kernel and one in system and 3 seconds delay in each starting nothing else)
Hi
I have a c5302 with stock .205 ROM and an unlocked boot loader.
I've been looking for a working custom recovery for my device but they all seem to be for UB devices or ones with different ROMs.
My previous device was much less complicated in terms of recoveries and ROM so I'm kind of confused and I don't want to destroy my phone with dumb actions. I'd appreciate any help.
UB = unlocked bootloader
Use XZ Dual Recovery
Hit the Thanks button if this helps. I swear it's free!!
You can use xz dual recovery or also you can flash a twrp or philz.img . you can find the .img files in te cm12.1 thread

Pure stock kernel for unlocked bootloaders with TWRP 2.8.6.0 or Philz 6.59.0 recovery.
Edit: TWRP 2.8.7.0 available in flashable zip at end of OP.
Created using flashtool and mkbootimg.
Rename boot.img.apk to boot.img and fastboot it to have stock kernel with TWRP.
OR
Rename Philzboot.img.apk to boot.img and fastboot it to have stock kernel with Philz.
To root, download Chainfires latest flashable zip from Here.
Then reboot and press press volume up when blue LED turns on to enter TWRP/Philz recovery, and flash the zip from the stored location.
Tested, and working.
Enjoy :good:

Thanks alot, I'd love to have TWRP 3.0.2 on stock rom.
But I can seem to get it to work, tried on a customized US an a customized DE stock image, latest version.
Doesn't boot on either, screen stays black when I try to turn on the tablet.

Yes bootloader is unlocked. kernel.sin for Custom DE attached (SGP612_Customized DE_1290-4946_23.5.A.1.291_R2D)
I don't get it to work either. SGP611, using SGP611_23.5.A.1.291_1290-0168_R4D customized UK. Won't boot, only flashes its red little light. Did you find any solution to it? Would be awesome to get this kernel.
Hi,
Have I sent you the correct file? Did you get the time to have a look at it?
No stress, just wonderin
is there a way to unlock bootloader using kinds of special hardware (like HTC xtc2clip)
(thanks O2 for locking the bootloader -_-)

If you are getting a black screen after flashing the kernel, just force restart the device. Then the device will boot fine.
Could a version of this be build with the device name "scorpion"? It won't let me install this ROM since the device name doesn't match (it seems to be empty in this image whereas that ROM requires it to be "scorpion").
Edit: nevermind, figured out I can modify the script in side the ROM to remove the check instead.
Thanks for a working TWRP for my old tablet

This kernel is only for SGP621. It's clearly mentioned in OP.
Think you!
Not easy for an old man, but after several times it went perfect.
Not able to tell you what I did exactly but I have SGP621, french 6.01.
SGP612 boot.img
Hi,
I made a boot.img for the SGP612 [6.0.1] [23.5.A.1.291] unlocked BL.
Sony RIC disabled
TWRP 3.0.2
(DRM fix)
Root and Xposed is NOT included. I recommend flashing Magisk v12 later in TWRP and enable Magisk Core Only Mode and Magisk Hide in the settings. Then it will pass the SafetyNet test and you can use su.
To flash the boot.img, put your SGP612 into fastboot mode (Volume Up + connect USB) and then run:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
If you have a backup of your TA partition, before you unlocked, see the rootkernel thread by tobias.waldvogel, how the DRM fix works.
Thanks to codfx for give me the idea for a SGP612 counterpart and to tobias.waldvogel for his tool :good:
