Looks like you either installed Clash of Clans or it was some spam that you accepted to your phone. You can try to locate it in Titanium Backup or Google Play Store, then you can uninstall it or freeze it.

No man , i screen shot this pic as an example of this notification type . This type shows with every notification whatsapp facebook etc.. but im sure its from the settings of my rom . But i cant find it venom setting is soo branched.

app locks without lockscreen

My three year old nephew loves to play games on my phone which i don't mind. It just he sometimes exits the game by mistake trying to get back in and in the process sometimes launches different apps or send a sms or makes a call.
Is there an app in the Mark.. errr Play Store that i can install and PIN lock certain apps like Dailer/SMS?
I want him to be able to go in and launch whatever game he wants or watch movies that are preloaded for him but just not use apps like the dialer.
Anyone know of an app like this?
There is toddler lock which is nice and works but it only worked when he was like 2.

Thanks, didn't like the above app lockers. I hate having things in the notification bar and tried at least 10 other free apps and the best of the bunch was Smart App Protector.
This is prefect I can install this on my parents phones as well and lock them out of Titanium Backup and SuperUser and Root Explorer. They have went in and deleted the wrong thing by mistake before, so i always created a back up of root explorer and uninstalled TB and whenever i needed it i would install from market which was a pain this is prefect.
For my boys I use Pinnacle Locker (free from the market), it can lock apps, calls, sms, settings, pretty much everything you want. I made presets for each and they can only use their own apps.

Just make sure you set security to maximum and I don't use livelyness detection
And make sure you do the face training under different light and angles

Kid Launcher in the market is made just for this. I use it everyday. It is a home screen replacement so you can just add the apps you want them to use. It needs a password to exit. I highly recommend it.

Can't see my own apps on Google Play

This might sound a bit strange but since I flashed Bulletproof kernel yesterday I can't seem to view my own apps or settings on Google Play, I've attached a screenshot, usually I would click the top right of Google play and i could see my apps but as you can see it only appears to give me the option to search, I've gone through the app and cannot see settings or my own apps, anyone know what's happening here?

Looks like youre on a custom ROM with menu buttons removed. You need to map the menu to another button (ones Ive seen are double tap the back button). When you open the menu you can get that info. You'll have to check with your ROM to see how to access the menu.

If I'm not mistaken that kernel removes the 3 dot menu and maps it to the HTC logo inbetween the back and the home physical buttons

Running Trickdroid ROM but I've just restored my nandroid backup and I can again see my apps in Google play and the menu buttons so it was in fact the kernel that done it.
I'll just stick to stock kernel

You could just flash faux kernel which alreadu uses the HTC logo as a menu anyway. You'll then be able to access it properly.

[Q] ARHD 9.2 - how to remove powerdashboard from Notification?

Hi all,
I've update my M7 from ARHD 9.0 to 9.2 yesterday.. and noted that my power-toggles app was uninstalled.
From notifications, there's a new power dashboard installed.
Anyone know how to remove/disable this? I've tried to find the app 'running' from Apps via Settings. Also held the power-dashboard app via Notifications for some secs to hope it'll point to the App-Info.
Pls. see attached image of the power dashboard.
Thanks!
You'll need to reinstall the rom and keep Settings Extended as your EQS rather than the native EQS. Native EQS is unchecked by default though...

I noticed you had changed kernels. I did that and got all of the problems you listed. Trust me, its not L its whatever kernel you're using or even user error. Even greenify works now, but most root apps require a permissive kernel...sounds like you don't have one possibly, if you are rooted there's an SELinux policy changer app that will at the click of a button, modify the kernel between enforced and permissive. I use code blue, FK didn't work for me. Also not sure this thread will be open much longer. All the best.
Try posting this in general in the Lollipop thread.

Yea I don't have those problems either. I have had the keyboard predictions not come up some times though. I have also had the play music app bug which is really annoying me because I just bought some Bluetooth headphones and its ruining the hands free experience.
In recents/overview, after clearing all apps sometimes apps pop up if you tap the recents button again like Phone, Android System etc. Anyone else having this issue?
I'm having almost all those same problems as OP...I have it with FK. KitKat was way better and buttery smooth, no issues really. The one thing I really like about 5.0 is the lockscreen notifications..long overdue feature. Missing feature though: control time of music from lock screen.

Did you install using the Google flash all bat file?
Sent from my Android 5.0 Nexus 5
There is something wrong with your image installation and or kernel and or phone.
I don't have any of the problems you listed after 2 days heavy use. My only complain is the lack of silent mode.

No offence mate, but calling this thread "all you need to know" is wrong.
I disagree with everything you said, having used heavily since about an hour after the image was posted by Google.
To suggest that your opinion is all people need to know is just plain wrong.
90% of root apps? Nonsense. Every root app I need works.
Crashes in chrome? None here. Same with all the gapps.
Most apps don't work proper? Really?
Launcher lags? Nope. And that word is thrown about all the time with no explanation or quantification.
You should at the least change the title of the thread.
