Hello, my watch R has 5.1.1 (LDZ22D) stock ROM and it has some problems. I tried factory reset, still not ok. I would like to try flashing again the stock ROM. I have found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-watch-r/development/stock-boot-recovery-g-watch-r-t2956964 , i downloaded boot.img, recovery.img and system.img, checked SHA1 but i don't know which version should i try? 5.1.1 (LDZ22D), 5.1.1 (LCA44B), 5.0.2: ??? Are there limitations for downgrade / upgrade ?
And as a guide to flashing...
1. i start watch, swype 11 to 5, so now in fastboot mode i connect to PC, the PC detect the watch as what ?
2. adb devices and if watch is detected i continue.
3. fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
5. fastboot flash system system.img
6. restart
is that ok ?
How long does it take to flash each of those imgs ?
thank you

Notes/FAQ:
1.) I re-mkbootimg-ed them since I'll be uploading 2 x 20+MB files if I didn't. Still has the same SHA1 checksums as the ones being checked by stock ROM so it's safe to flash.
2.) If you're confused on how to download click on the box marked in this pic.
3.) The commands for flashing are as follows:
Boot: fastboot flash boot boot.img
Recovery: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
System: fastboot flash system system.img
*replace boot.img, recovery.img and system.img with their respective filenames
**how to obtain the fastboot executables and drivers are explained in a separate thread
4.) The system.img provided above are stock and NOT ROOTED. If you want to go completely stock, just flash ALL the 5.0.1 images above.
*only for 5.0.1 since I didn't make a system image for 4.4W.2 or below

took that from the link you posted, just conect the watch to the dock while in fastboot mode, search for 15 second adb/fastboot installer, after installing that and the computer detects your watch just follow those steps using cmd and navigating to the directory where the files are at first, remember to install fastboot and adb system wide on the 15 second adb installer
when in fastboot mode the watch is not detected:
C:\Users\user>adb devices
List of devices attached
when i chose "recovery" in fastboot mode (android robot on back with door open and red exclamation mark) i get:
C:\Users\user>adb devices
List of devices attached
410KCHserialnr888 sideload
but the watch says he waits "adb sideload <filename>"
what i am doing wrong ? something else had to be done ?
thank you
you can use adb to boot watch on bootloader, but it is not needed since you can boot into fastboot already, problem is the watch is not detected on fastboot mode, try finding some drivers or something, what i usually do is download cydia impactor and select usb then let it do the driver stuff for me, quote me next time so i can get notified when you respond
Hello,
Problem - Device keep on rebooting showing Mi logo (every 2 sec), Does not boot into system
What I did?
exteneded system partition to 1.2 gb - success
flash Marshmellow custom rom - success
misinstalled system ui of theme - system ui stopped
reinstalled clean rom from custom recovery - success
then it does not boot into system - keep on rebooting at mi logo (every 2 sec)
tried fastboot rom - failed (remote size too large)
rebooted into recovery
flash stock partition via adb - success
fastboot flash (with flash all) - success (says miflash - operation compeleted successfully)
Still it does boot into system - keep on rebooting at mi logo (every 2 sec)
Help?
if you can access recovery now then go to recovery and take a backup of current rom. The wipe everything except internal storage and then restore the backup.
maybe it'll fix it because thats what happened to me too after flashing the MM custom rom. Every time i was rebooting the phone kept bootlooping at Mi Logo.
Hmm i ll try but i have to install twrp from adb for backup.
Cwm backup not promising.
You think there ll be problem in hardwere?
No problem in hardware.
and yes do it twrp only. never try cwm.
the thing is i am not able to enter into recovery mode at all.
No recovery and fastboot accessible.
Then connect it to PC and tell me what name the device manager shows for the device.
fastboot is accessible.
i've flashed fastboot rom from miui. successfully completed. but it won't boot.
yesterday it booted into system so i was charging the phone, as soon as i removed charger it went the same boot looping.
now,
clicking flash_all_except_storage from fastboot command
it shows one line in every process - 'target reported max size 80909989 '
process goes on and success.
but does not boot into system. same bootloop.
one strange thing is,
when i connect to pc, - just by pressing vol down button i'm entering to fastboot. (even without holding power button)
does this mean there's something wrong with power button which causing cont. reboot? i mean it cont. forcing system to on and off? :s
Nothing is wrong with the hardware. In this situation the phone boots into fastboot by pressing vol when plugged in.
You didn't answer my question. What does it show in device manager on PC.
sorry for late reply , net connection loss
device manager
1st one is android booloader interface
other devices - bluetooth peripheral devices
Did you use miflash tool to flash fastboot rom
yes,
flashed successfully says miflash.
While flashing using miflash did you select all files in advanced menu properly.
Like all the bat, mbn and xml files.
i didnt try all the file separatly.
trying now.
Then go to advance and choose all the respective files properly.
1st one - flash_all_except_storage.xml
2nd one - nvflash_all.bat (leave it as it is)
3rd one - MPRG8974.mbn
4th one - 8974_msimage.mbn
5th one - rawprogram0.xml
6th one - patch0.xml
i found
flash_all.bat
could not find nvboot script
flash programmer
boot image
could not find kernelflinger image
could not find UFS provision image
RAW xml file
patch xml file
should i go with files?
Which MiFlash tool are you using.
I used the 2014.05.09.0 version
Try this one.
And extract the fastboot ROM twice till you get the images folder inside the "cancro_images_V7.0.****" folder. There you'll fill all the files.
Then in miflash click browse and select that images folder.
And in advanced options select the respective files which are there outside the images folder.
2015.10.28 version
i ll leave the navboot as it is.
giving it a try.
appreciate your help brother.
If it doesn't work then try my version.
It has proper names of files. To avoid confusion.
And all files are there in fastboot ROM except nvboot
i checked on miui
no halos.bin
tz.bin
these all files?
p.s.
operation completed successfully but same boot loop.
trying your version now.
Hi all,
Yesterday i flashed miui LP on my Redmi 2 Prime. In the evening i tried to flash the miui KK with fastboot rom. But ended up with unspecified error . I tried many things but no luck. Then i followed direct method and that worked. Following is the procedure.
Note:
1. This will erase all your data and internal storage so better you backup them first.
2. I'm not responsible if anything goes wrong with your device.
Requirement:
1. Minimal ADB and Fastboot
2. Fastboot rom
3. Mi Pc Suite (for drivers, you can skip if already installed drivers)
Preparing:
1. Install Mi Pc Suite.
2. Install Minimal ADB and Fastboot.
3. Extract fastboot rom anywhere.
4. Copy all the files from images folder to the directory where Minimal ADB And fastboot is installed.
for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot
Procedure:
1. Connect your phone to pc in fastboot mode,
your Pc will install some drivers automatically.
2. Go to Minimal ADB and Fastboot directory .
3. Hold shift and right click.
4. Click open command window here.
5. Enter fastboot devices command.
If you see your device name in list of devices attached in command window then your good to go.
6. Now enter the following commands given below one by one in sequence.
fastboot flash partition gpt_both0.bin
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash hyp hyp.mbn
fastboot flash tzbak tz.mbn
fastboot flash sbl1bak sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash rpmbak rpm.mbn
fastboot flash abootbak emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash hypbak hyp.mbn
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash persist persist.img
fastboot flash sec sec.dat
fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot reboot
Or
Simply put Flash All.bat (Attached Bellow) in Minimal ADB and Fastboot directory and double click on it (No need to enter those commands). Your Devices will reboot automatically when flashing done.
congrats
Hit thanks
It fails at the first step. Can't flash the partition table, it always says "FAILED (remote: failed to write partition)"
I've tried several different ROM packs, even tried one for a different Redmi 2 version, and still can't do it.
did you place all the files in minimal adb and fastboot folder?

did you place all the files in minimal adb and fastboot folder? And what you mean by using several different rom package? This method is only for fastboot rom made for redmi 2 only. Make sure your phone is detected by PC in fastboot mode with command fastboot devices.
I have tested this method three times without any errors. You are surely doing something wrong.

Kept crashing wanted to reflash , and installed TWRP on it , that said can't mount partitions and now i can't flash neider the 811 or the 813 roms to it . Just keeps saying error writing to partition . I can attach a screenshot of the Miflash tool if it helps. And above is the Command prompt error.

My phone stucks on Mi logo what will do
yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! after trying many other methods like recovery through adb ,command prompt,mi flash tool,mi pc suit...... i downloaded atleast 4-5 roms to just confirm that whether flash tool has some problem or the ROMs..........but if something worked after constantly trying many things in past three days it is this method.......seriously...
FYI this is the way i used it and u should probably use the same way
-> download MI flash tool (google it)
->install(in C
->download any compatible ROM for ur phone
->open :- C:\Program Files\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Google\Android
->paste all the contents of image folder from the ROM into this android folder
->then download this Flash All.bat from here and extract it...
->put your phone in fastboot mode ->connect it via usb
->then double click your Flash all.bat file-> give it some time->once finished ur device will start automatically
->after 10 mins or so disconnect ur phone from pc ... give it 4-5 mins , ur phone will be out of bootloop and u will be awarded with a new MIUI
Yes! It worked for me as well.
Thanks for your steps.

and it worked good.
My Mi Account was locked and could not connect to internet at all.
I had tried using Flash tools, PC suite - Flash methods and nothing worked. I had spend more time to fix my mobile in all these ways.
But this method is awesome. Only took around 15 minutes to completely flash my mobile.
After flashing the mobile, I am able to connect to internet and I have also created a new Mi-Account and linked my G-Mail account to it.
Am super happy now.
Thanks a lot.
However I would wish to add another details to the above setps:
The Flashall.BAT too needs to be extracted and copied into the same folder where the contents from ROM's Image folder were copied.
awesome bro thankyou very much.it's working absolutely well:good::good:
Tried a similar method and got my redmi2 prime hard bricked. Can someone tell me the test points in the device 2014818?
Thanx This works for me. successfull to flash my redme 2

Will this work for Redmi note 3 Snapdragon??
Hello
I am stick in bootloop with my Redmi 3 (after trying Flashify).
Tried the above method with high hopes, as I have been trying everything else also with no luck.
I have downloaded a ROM for my device of course.
It all seems to go well until I launch the Flash_All.bat
Then the DOS commands are executed in 5 to 10 secs, and my devices reboot, but in a bootloop again
I got a breif view at the DOS commands, and it basically, at several lines says somthing, like: "failed to write, device is locked"
see attached sreen shot
does this mean my problem has no solution and I can simply throw away my device?
Thanks

Fastbooting method did not bring back my stock model number that is hm2014818. It changed to 2014817 when i flashed miui 8 64bit rom for redmi 2. Now i am not able to go back to my original model number even by fastboot method. Any help please??
will the flash all.bat support on other mi device's??
stuck at erasing user data
flashing stuck at flashing userdata
So I have spent the last 5 hours today trying to revert back to any MM rom after getting stuck with test-keys on Nougat. After hours and hours this is the best method I have found.
I think I got this method working now.
Updated the flash order to what works for me now.
Things you need:
The rom you want to get to. Tested with C432B151 but you can find a list of roms here
The Huawei update extractor here
adb installed
Step 1: Unlock your bootloader. A nice guide can be found here. Do not install TWRP. Just unlock your bootloader.
Step 2: Copy the update.app into the dload folder on your SD Card for the rom you want to install and insert sd card into your device. **Make sure sim card is removed**
Step 3:Boot back into fastboot using volume down and power button
Step 4:Using the extractor extract the system.img, boot.img, recovery.img, cust.img and cache.img from the rom you want to install
Step 5.1: Flash the cust.img using
Code:
fastboot flash cust(path to cust.img)
Step 5.2: Flash the boot.img using
Code:
fastboot flash boot (path to boot.img)
Step 5.3: Flash the recovery.img using
Code:
fastboot flash recovery(path to recovery.img)
Step 5.4: Flash the cache.img using
Code:
fastboot flash cache(path to cache.img)
Step 5.5: Flash the system.img using
Code:
fastboot flash system (path to system.img)
**Important dont let your phone boot. Immediately press volume up + down + power to boot into dload update method**
Let system flash the rom again using the dload method.
This is what has worked for me after hours of trying. It might not work for everyone else but I hope it helps someone.
can you help me?
I tried to root this phone, and got bootloop. The screen only showed "Realme", vanished, and showed this again. I can only boot to BOOTLOADER.
I tried Flash Tool. Download the ".ofp" file from google. Didn't work. As it only supports Realme older than RM5P. No use.
Tried to use MSM Tools. Difficult. As it is only supposed to be used by Oppo/Realme service centers and needs passwords. So, MSM is out of the way.
Then, I remember, the easiest thing that can be done is flashing through FASTBOOT with fastboot img files. Sadly, I tried to seach google, in vain. Just found one kind person offered a complete set of files. But it was old. Still in Android 9. How could I revive my phone and update it?
Then I found a thread about TWRP by @BabluS It could flash OZIP files. That's it. So, my plan is :
Download official OTA Ozip file from Realme site (Software update site... Indonesia). The name is like RMX1971EX_11_OTA_xxx.ozip (will show if you click "download"). Put it in external SD.
Flash the BabluS TWRP. Wipe dalvic, cache, data, system. Back to boot bootloader
Flash the fastboot files one by one (and the phone gets the old Realme version.)
- boot.img
- dtbo.img
- system.img
- vbmeta.img
- vendor.img
Update the phone to the current version through TWRP (Click Install. Click Storage (?), choose ext sdcard, find the OZIP file).
Wipe data through TWRP again .... It worked...!
Note:
When unlocking, in-deep-test, one has to wait for 15 minutes. Processing... Please wait... I tried several times, waiting for hours, in vain. Then tried to click "verify". Looked like it was Reviewed already.
Get the fastboot files through this link.
The boot.img contains stock recovery!
Get the BabluS TWRP here.
Error flash:
- "Invalid sparse file format at header magic". Just ignore the error. Wait for 5 minutes or more until is is finished.
Big thanks to @BabluS and @acervenky for your great work ....
good
...Thanks man...
could you please write the flash commands down ?
Cz I don't know the pertition name for dtbo.img file and vbmeta.img file
(<Fastboot flash ??? dtbo.img>)

It is probably the same name
So the command for dtbo.img would be: fastboot flash dtbo dbto.img
same for vbmeta.img
