Hi,
My Nook HD+ shut down after battery drained, now after hours of charging all I see is this:

}
What should I do to run the OS? is it bricked? Anything possible to make it work again?
This happens to mine every now and then.
To fix, try:
1) make sure you use the Nook transformer (some phone or other usb adapters may not provide sufficient current to recharge a drained battery);
2) soft reset while attached to powered Nook transformer (hold power button for 20 seconds).
To avoid in the future, never let the battery completely drain. That is where I go wrong each time, forgetting I left it in standby mode with a low charge for a couple days.
I hope this helps.

Well, some time ago (Like 3 days) i've installed Pure Vainilla v4. So, when i let my charger plugged in the night and in midnight i turn a bit the screen. The battery starts to drain very fast :$
Without any use and the stats go crazy .-. Any ideas?

The strange thing is that, when i wake up in the morning and i disconnect the charger, before i do it, the battery icon shows 100 and the fully charged notification is there but when i disconnect the charger, the battery drops to 40 in the stats, i plugged the charger again so now it is charging normally. But, i'm pretty sure it will happen again.
Edit: I plugged it and it seemed to be working fine but still discharging D:

Can't charge phone using USB charging....phone bricked. Need to charge battery to get into download mode. Can I use a jumper, cutting off micro USB end and putting the stripped wires on the terminals, of battery? If so, are the positive and negative the 1st and third terminals on battery, going left to right? Decal is a little off on my battery, hard to tell if the negative is the third or fourth terminal. Used this process before on an Atrix2, wasn't sure if this would work on this phone.
Thanx.
Easiest way is to use an external case, similar to this
consider also Anker external cases and there are many others

I haven't touched the phone for around 6 months. Now that I was trying to charge it the phone goes into a loop of turning on, displaying the charging splash screen, vibrating and turning off:

(can't post a direct link)
When unplugging the usb cable I get this image for a brief moment before it goes off for good:

It's unlocked, but on an original rom.
Is that a known problem and is there a way to resurrect it?
I fixed it by:
Connecting the charger
Holding down the power button and volume down at the same time, for 30 second or so to get into the fastboot menu
Inside that menu I selected Recovery mode
While in Recovery mode I was able to charge and rebooted normally at 7% charge or so
I got the hint from reading the comments under some youtube video (search term: moto x2 charge).
