[APP] BloomDroid (Bloomberg application for Android)

Sorry guys, Bloomberg asked me to discontinue the development of this app. So I'm removing the download link and will not continue to work on this
Hi everyone,
I have begun to work on a financial application for Android. It is called BloomDroid. As the name suggests, this application retreives data from Bloomberg data system (ie the website:mobile.bloomberg.com).
The version I post here is a very early beta and I'm planning to add many more features (of course limited with what bloomberg offers on its website)

The app is not available in the Android Market for now. I want it to mature a little before then.
You can download the app from: (app removed by request from bberg)
It requires full internet access permission for internet access and sd card write access to store charts.
It downloads 7-8 kb per query, so be careful if you do not have an unlimited plan.
Features:
- Retreive company name, description, price and change(%) for given quote. You must provide company ticker in XXXX:YY form, XXXX is the ticker for company, YY is the country code. such as GOOG:US, 4338:HK, GGQ1:GR, AAPL:US, 2788:JP
- Lookup for company ticker
Planned:
- A list of equities (like in stock Stocks program)
- News from Bloomberg
- Markets and currencies.
- Maybe a widget.

Hey guys, app is not dead.. Just I didn't get enough encouragement to continue working on it. But now that I see at least 3 new users , I'll resume working on it as soon as I have some free time.

Please make an update for 800*480 for my htc desire!
Bloomberg official app is the only thing i envy from iphone users..!

I've been a busy coder on this one.
Recently i've added the following features:
Ability to import exercises from previously entered routines
and just now The Ability to share your workout (export) via email!
Currently the app in the market is version 1.5.0.0 and works really well, it however doesn't have the last two additions.
Build 1.7.00 will include both of these. I am currently waiting for build 1.6.00 to be approved (that includes the import exercises from previous exercise) feature and unfortunately for the testers will be immediately submitting 1.7.00 for approval.
The app is free, check it out and give a review.

Possible Suggestion: With exporting the workouts, is it possible to save to SkyDrive? They have some new APIs, so it would be nice if the files can be saved and retrieved from Skydrive account.

Wow, im surprised this is still getting interest. Unfortunately i abandoned this project a while ago due to poor code design by me. ( learned much since then ) I no longer have the source code but if the interest is there i could possibly re-write this app with some mango features and possibly skydrive support. I wrote this app to help me with my workouts at the gym, but i have frequently found my self simply using word / excel to track my workouts.

Well, this is a FREE apps, and it can be downloaded from any region. Malaysia users should be able to download it easily.

I'm using other news reading apps.. Such as weave or gotnews. Jst add Malaysia kini, free malaysia today, Malaysian insider and the star online and it'll b perfect.

MIUI Themes Second Contest!
This contest is hosted by MIUITHEMES and supported by MIUI OFFICIAL
The Work - Requirements
The topic is free. You can make a Theme inspired by what you want. The more creative work, have better and more chances to win against the other participants.
The Content - What is the job
The contents of the competition is a MIUI Theme Design, include a lockscreen interface, a piece of desktop wallpaper and 20 specified icons (icons including: call, SMS, contacts, browser, calendar, Gmail, file explorer, application market, backup, settings, music, gallery, camera, weather, calculator, maps (4 apps, latitude, etc...), notes, time, recorder and theme manger).
Other optionals interfaces (such as SMS, dial-up, contacts, notification bar and so on). If u design this have more oportunity to do a better work for win!
How to participate?
To participate you need send the .mtz at our email [email protected] and add the following things.
Personal data
Name
Phone num.
Address/City/Country
Contact email adress
And you need to publish their work on our website in that link “Submit!”.
Remember! Each registered user can participate with the number you want to mtz (themes).
The Winners
The winner need send us the original PSD to check is the original creator of the Theme. The mtz be posted within 24 hours of receipt by mail, and will be published on the website of miuithemes.com.
If you have created an mtz (theme) with several designers, we need the personal data of every individual who worked in that work and their sign and accept that work. Once submitted the works, contestants will be deemed to have agreed MIUI users to download and use the theme.
If awarded, all participants (including winners) need to authorize the copyright to MIUI Official.
PSD Template
You can download the. PSD template to send us the mtz screenshots for publishing on the web (Get the PSD TEMPLATE in miuithemes site please)[/URL]. Each registered user can participate with the number you want to mtz (themes).

Nice pics But the color choices need to be customizable or changed. Those colors would get tiring very quickly

Pretty sure this is in the wrong section. Appears to be based on CM or another kang. Def not an entirely new OS. Plus, without credits or a link to said ROM, don't see this being up long.
