I just want to ask you guys if you have experienced this. The pull down navigation bar is not working. And sometimes it'll flicker between activities and freezes. I need to push the power button off and on to work again. I tried some google search and answer and I can see that other owners of HTC One are experiencing this problem as well.
I have tried the drawing mode using HTC Function Test *#*#3424#*#* and also in editing photos using the draw option, but the line is not drawing in the pull down navigation bar. It seems like there's an invisible bar that covers the navigation bar.
Anyways my phone is not rooted. I am using the latest version of Kitkat 4.4.2 with htc sense version 6.0. My phone is not under warranty anymore because it's already 1 year.
Is there any solution to this problem? Thank you guys for the answer.

I just upgraded to 6.1 today. I set everything up like I had it previously, but there is an issue with the scroll bar on the side of the screen. On 6.0, I had HTC Home installed. The scroll bar did not cover up the edge of this application. The bar started below HTC Home and only affected the items below (like Tasks, Wireless Status, ect...). I've spent about 2 hours trying to figure this out. I'm not getting anywhere. Any ideas? Thanks guys!
I noticed the same thing everytime I close device I open contacts first then close device then close contacts that way it doesnt chop off the HTC Home where the scroll bar was. I have tried several different things in HHC Customizer too, with no change. Once it chops it off the only way to get it back I have to soft reset. Strange Annoying problem.

Thanks! That helped a lot. I dont know why I didn't see that when I was searching.
I had the same problem. I went to the today icon and removed a thing or 2 from the home page and the scroll bar went away. The home page will show only so much without causing you to scroll down.
for me it was the kaiser tweak where it says unlock screen i put it to locked and it worked
I searched for this but found nothing, is their any mod or app that has a press to unlock feature? Instead of a slider, just a press to unlock. Thanks for any help in advance.
i think widget locker may have that option using the hardware keys rather than on screen touch
yeah it does, im really wanting to find a on screen button. i had it on my old iphone 3g which i just cut on for the first time in over a year, and relized how nifftie it was lol
I like your icons btw
Hi Guys,
The bottom of my screen (about 5mm) has become unresponsive to touch. In previous ROM's I've got around this by adding a navbar to the bottom of the screen which I don't use (as in the soft key buttons).
I've just installed a Sense 5 ROM (InsertCoin) and really like the feel of it, however I can't find any way to get the navbar at the bottom of the screen. Obviously as it's a sense rom, there is nothing in the settings, and I've tried putting qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 into the build.prop file but that has also not worked :/
Does anyone have a solution to this or a way to cut the bottom 5mm of the visible screen? Or even better, a way to get the bottom of the screen working?
Cheers,
Tom

That sounds like a hardware fault so you should contact HTC or your phone supplier

If you're running 4.18.401.2 then you're in the wrong section, this is the One section not the One X.
Go over there and do a search for return to stock, you should find all the info you need.

hello nobody has any help for me
Probably better to just go back to Sense. Although the GE is good the One is better with Sense IMO
Go back to sense, cuz the looks of the one matches the look of sense, GE looks out of its place on the One

Hi everyone,
I am currently using the Maximus ROM with Sense 6 and I was wondering how you call the pop-up slider thingie which you get when you swipe up from the home button? The one where you can slide to Google Now.
I am wondering this because I would like to know if it is possible to add other buttons to this menu, but I haven't got a clue how it is called so I cannot search for it.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

In the Sense Toolbox Xposed module, there is an option to add Voice Dial and APM shortcuts to that ring. They call the mod "Extended Assist Panel" under Control Mods. I haven't seen anything that allows you to customize the shortcuts to put there, but I really haven't looked.
Thanks for your reply.
I also found another setting in the control section of the Sense 6 toolbox, which brings your device to sleep when swiping up from the home button (so no more Google now, but I don't really care) so I'm all good!
