I'm using moto X under att contract, now the android version is 4.4.2
I recently rooted my device with the towel pie root, and it works fine on my phone
But when I tried to use the Xposed, here comes the problem. The xposed apk can be installed perfectly, but when I go in there and tried to install the frame work, it shows as the picture below
Please help me find out why, many thanks!

Hello happy new year, i see Cyanogenmod 11 comes with a superuser tab so i assume it's rooted, but root checker says my device isn't rooted.
I tried installing it anyways and rebooted the phone, no errors. But after i rebooted i saw a forum post saying i could get my phone bricked if i run xposed on an unrooted phone.
So i unistalled it before running the app again.
What should i do? Can i just install xposed with CM 11 as it comes or i need to do something else first?.
I've used eRoot with GB, ICS, JB with no issues but it doesn't work with Kitkat, so i'm not sure if i should just install it or what.
I really want some modules but i don't wanna break the phone :c
Installing Xposed on non rooted phone can't brick your device simply because root operations can't be done.
Xposed needs root access for installation process.

Go into developer options and make sure root access is set to apps, or apps and adb.
Common sense isn't all that common
Download set up first and then run the file after complete it.
Hi Guys, I know a lot of people here on xda cannot go on their daily lives without root on their phone, but there are these pain in the bottom applications that refuse to run when root is detected. my only means of hiding root back then was using an xposed module, may I know if someone else have an idea on how to hide root from apps? thanks in advance!~
SuperSU Pro has the option that works for some apps. Not sure if it is in the standard version.
Best solution is to boycott HBO.
root cloak still works with 5.1.1. you can find it here in the forums. get the latest alpha version and it should work.
So... I had my N6 on 6.0 stock with root, made room in the system to install Xposed and had GB running great. Then I got greedy and installed 6.0.1, made room in system again and installed Xposed - on reboot I get constant NFC service errors and the phone is unusable. Go back to 6.0 and it works great. Tried installing a debloated stock 6.0.1 rom, w/ system-less root and get the same result after flashing Xposed.
Any insight? Tried searching with no results.
Seems like the issue was with the new root method. My solution was to remove the new root method using Update-unSU and then flash the Su2.52.zip. Xposed seems to be working fine now.

I am using sytemless root on 6.0.1 with xposed and don't have these issues
OK... The problem is back.
I was on 6.0.1 stick firmware - rooted with SU2.52 - removed the foreign language keyboards to make enough room in system to install the xposed framework (sdk78_arm version) - rebooted and get NFC services errors and phone is frozen.
Loaded the 6.0.1 lite rom - used unSU - installed SU2.52 and xposed and same result/error.
Loaded the 6.0.1 lite rom - left the system less root - installed xposed and same thing again.
Anyone have thoughts? I swear I am not that much of a newb but I can't figure this out. Even tried downloading a fresh copy of xposed but same thing.

It is most likely not updated to work with those root methods yet. With the updates in security each android update is gonna need xposed to be updated. Even to the point that it may stop working all together. So I would get used to not having it to be honest. It is only a matter of time before it stops working all together.
Same issue happening to me, all roads pointing to systemless root. I'm sure Rovo will update. I'm using SuperSu v2.6.2r3 btw
Try to do factory reset throughout TWRP.
I had same problem yesterday. After I installed xposed framework, I could not use my phone due to NFC service error popup message. But now, everything seems okay after factory reset. - no more error message.
I have a Verizon HTC One M8 (rooted, S-Off, TWRP, unlocked bootloader) that I have finally upgraded from 4.4.4 to 6.0. To prevent any possible radio problems I read about I did a factory reset from the bootloader screen to ensure a fresh install. After making sure that the Marshmallow worked fine I flashed the ARM framework 85 through TWRP and then installed the Xposed app. Now I am stuck where it is not working and I have searched but could not find anyone with the same problem here. I'll include a screenshot so that you know what I mean.

They were check and I had. Just to see I unchecked them all, rebooted, and then tried again and it looks like some but not most are working. Thank you, at least it's a start.

I had the same problem the first time I upgraded from Kit Kat to Marshmallow. My problem was that when I upgraded I reflashed the same modules that I had been using on Kit Kat..I found the modules that weren't working, uninstalled them, then re-installed the appropriate versions for Marshmallow (enabled the modules and rebooted) and everything worked great.. if this applies to you then give it a shot.
As far as your screenshot everything is working perfectly
I'm assuming that perhaps the unusable install/update and uninstall buttons maybe confusing you. That's normal those buttons no longer do anything they are only eyecandy at this juncture.
All versions must (at this time) be installed in Custom Recovery for those three functions. I hope I'm understanding your issue
Hello Fellas,
I have some issues and hope you guys can help me out.
I have a Samsung Note 8 (SM-N950F), I have Rooted it today (Using Exynos menthos) and it went flawless without any Errors. After Rooting my Phone I have Flashed Xposed (by PurifyOS) but it seems not working well and I am not sure if it is the Root the Problem or Xposed.
The Problems are :
1. In Xposed the Modules I have Downloaded seems not working/not getting Activated. I have downloaded AdBlock and Youtube Background, checked both of them and restarted my Phone so the Modules get Activated. Well Youtube Background dosent work & Adblock says "The Module hasnt been Activated" but in Xposed it shows me it is Acivated.
2. I have Downloaded 2 Apps which needs Root Access (Freedom & XModGames) and everytime I launch them it Crash my hole Phone and restart my Phone.
The Root & Flashing Xposed went without any Errors.
Any reason you haven't used the official? Try it, may fix your issue
Also what root are you using?
