As the title says. I flashed the Custom CM10 on my Optimus Speed 2X.

When I try to activate the Wifi it won't work.
I looked in the advanced menu and found out I have no Mac adress.

In the phone irformation in the settings it was missing too.
I guress that is the problem why it won't start up the wifi.
Does anybdoy knows a way to assign a MAC adress to your phone?
I accidently flashed the kowalski M1 Kernel for the old Bootloader not the new one.
I just flashed the new one over it and everything went fine

Hi,
Today I upgraded my SGT to the latest version (2.3.3). I installed stock ROM, then installed Overcome, and now I have stock + CT-Root.
The problem i'm seeing is that my wifi isn't being detected by the device (netcfg doesn't return any eth0). I already had this problem (similar) with Froyo 'cause I couldn't start wireless. On Froyo, the wifi would just turn off, now the whole system crashes and reboots.
I probably have a bad wireless module but I'm posting just to make sure if this is just me...
EDIT: buah... this should probably be in "General" and not on the "dev" section of the SGT... Sorry Mod :/
This section is for dev projects/reference only not for general topics or questions.

Hello, when I was setting up Wi-Fi network, I've noticed that phone is showing wrong channels. I've tried 3 another programs to check it out (Wifi Analyzer, Droid WiFi Analyzer, WiEye) and also another ROM instead of my daily Zeus (Chinese ICS, v20o - flashable ZIP). And everything is showing same incorrect channels. Another phone show channels correctly also as notebook (laptop).

Original channels were: 1, 6, 12.
Can somebody confirm/disprove it to find out this problem is hardware or LG related? Thank you.

Hi,
on the 8.1 Stock ROM (using latest reteu) there seems to be a preloaded SSID called VodafoneWifi.

It is not available via the regular WiFi menu and only visible through settings search. I first suspected this was some kind of SSID which is added when using Vodafone SIM. But I double checked it on a second Moto Z3 Play (resetted, without SIM).
So I digged a little bit deeper to pinpoint the source of this SSID. I extracted the Stock Image and found the two following APKs:
WpaConfigApp.apk
Settings.apk
Many more than VodafoneWiFi..
Does anybody knows more about such preloaded WiFis?
Thanks!
Hello friends, first thanks for watching and for answering. My 5s plus has a problem. I have seen that some Motorolas have been unlocked via Qualcomm remotely and mark the model as xt1601 after unlock. I do not have wifi and bluetooth, neither does the pc recognize it once it is turned on. I already did a stock flash (SANDERS_OPS28.65-36-14_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC) and it remains the same. I also did flash modem and nothing changes. Has it happened to someone? Any solution? Thank you so much
