Marvel version 9 (Highly Customizable ROM) - Gingerbread 2.3.4 v20o [Fast, Lite, Deodexed and Zipalligned]
Marvel v 9 is a highly customizable ROM using AROMA installer - Feel the power of your LG Optimus Black , now is all in your hands !!!
Requirements:
1. Of course a rooted LG Optimus Black P 970 (Find infos how to root here: [HOW TO]The Big N00B how-to! - nooby's thread)
2. CWM / ROM Manager / other apps with CWM or capability of flashing from zip file.
How to use:
1. Backup - use NANDRIOD (just in case something went wrong)
2. Copy the zip file in your SD card (copy in root folder)
3. Boot in CMW, Clear Data/cache and choose "install zip from SDCARD" or
Use ROM Manager and choose install zip from SD card.
FAQ's:
Question: Why is the ROM so huge in size?
Answer: So you can have many, many installation options to choose from.
Question: Can I install this if I have Froyo, other Gingerbread or ICS ROMs?
Answer: Yes, just do factory reset and clear dalvik cache.
Question: How can I change installation options after installing Marvel?
Answer: Install/Flash again and choose options you need, without loosing apps and data. Just cleak dalvik-cache.
You can just install/flash again and again until you decided what combinations best suites your needs.

I am using Zeus ROM, but I guess it's either because of a wrong download, so try downloading again, a bad file provided by tantrums, or a modification of yours.
Dont change anything in the .zip, except for you are able to sign the ROM again.

Its exactly the same as official 2.3.4, no need pics, nothing change.
This is what I got on quadran benchmark: 1241. With another ROM I got 2500, 2700.

This is because he didnt apply any patches, but just repacked and removed some stuff, but just search here in dev section and u will find tweaks, u can apply on your own

For best use of this rom..you must have a ext partition:
- Go in ricovery mode;
- Select "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition";
- Select "advanced" and "wipe dalvik cache";
- Now Select "advanced" and after "Partition SD Card"
- Choose ext4 format label..assign 512 mb at partition and 0 (zero) at swap
- Go back and make all wipe ("wipe data/factory reset", "wipe cache partition" e wipe dalvik cache")
Flashing ROM

Yesterday I flashed this awesome ROM to my ace, replacing Mindcr ROM after a year.
It's lightning fast, and with incredibly low boot time.
Only 2 issues:
1. Which version of gapps should I install, only for Google market?
2. The Bluetooth does not work correctly. Devices can be paired and conncetd, but I cannot use the BT headset for calls, no audio in or out.
Is there any workaround for these issues?

i agree with you, this rom really snappy... afaik, no need to install gapps for this rom, only google search missing... bluetooth ok for me, with phone to phone/phone to PC vice versa...

Google play store is already there in the rom.
Bluetooth headset doesn't work in CM.So,its a bug in CM.

A : No, this ROM using the official kernel
3. Q : This ROM is free of bugs? or a lot of bugs?
A : I feel there are no bugs, but whose name a custom ROM has a bugs, even official firmware also has a bug. but it didn't bother, so please feel alone.
4. Q : After using this ROM, some default application is gone like Google play music, play games, live wallpapers, hangouts etc. why?
A : I delete it, because I feel it's bloatware. But if you want it back, just download on playstore, or take from Deodexed ROM.zip
5. Q : Some features of the Xperia Z2 is not work properly (example: Smart backlight, Smart call, Glove mode etc), why?
A : Yes not work, no solution for now. So just decorating for the moment
6. Q : how to get back to stock camera with 9 MP on superior auto mode?
A : Delete com.sonyericsson.android.camera-res.apk on system/vendor/overlay use root explorer or similar app, then wipe dalvik cache

Don't be confused, the Xperia TX is not registered in XDA develpoers (registered only in general). So if someone makes a thread with "XDA: DEVDB" then automatically write the XDA forum for Xperia T, because Xperia TX doesn't have a separated sub forum of Android development .
But I make sure that I made this ROM for Xperia TX LT29i a.k.a Hayabusa (Not for XperiaT LT30p a.k.a Mint)

Yes its work, but i needed a LT29i_9.2.A.1.199_USA_stock_kernel.elf for unlock bootloader users, then make flashable.zip.
But I less a free time to make it currently. I will update to it in a few days.
Btw, The ROM link is up, just download and try it, i hope you like it

Are you sure?? What your recovery? Try to use PhilZ Touch Recovery for flashing this ROM

What you mean? Install PhilZ touch recovery is aborted??... or install PhilZ touch recovery are okay, but then flash this ROM with PhilZ touch recovery is aborted??
I'm try this ROM before upload, and its work with PhilZ touch CWM recovery...

I tried two ways and got error Status 7. Friends 4pda have these same problems.
1.) .199 Firmware was installed and PhilZ touch recovery and stock kernel. I installed through PhilZ touch recovery your firmware and got an error Status 7.
2.) I flashed the stock kernel with CWM, flashed the firmware with CWM, got Status 7

What version of CWM are you on? I remember getting errors like that while on an older version and/or on 4.1.2. I'd just update my CWM version.

Recommendation on first startup and configuration of the ROM
- In the first startup configuration if I want to use wifi, I recommend you do the first 2 quick steps before you connect 3g, which appears to them to connect to wifi. Tilden "Show Advanced Options" and put IP settings "Automatic" so that they are properly connected wifi (if left on DHCP you may tell them "unstable Connection Disabled ....") and can continue normally configured with your account gmail.
All this shows that no back buttons, Start ...
- Back in the "Desktop" still leave a cell 5min. to stabilize the ROM, I restarted and it can be used normally.

Yes toggles need more work, i no have much time, in some days work to make 2.1 fixes, new icons, slider brightness, etc. The ROM too, need littles fixes in desing...

i'M having some troubles too. bfr 2 days i've installed this version, imma facing Many reboots and freezing on Chrome and games like RR3 (When requires more perfomance)

OK strange never had an issue before using stock browser with flash on your ROM ...will do it on my PC...

I'am instrested by this feature me too because i use foldermount but not works very nice ...
