Hello guys.
I am looking for a method to force LTE mode in my T805 Tab S.
I have tried *#*#4636#*#* code, but there is no such menu. Also tried to use some Play Store apps and Xposed module for Galaxy S5, but none of them is working.
If you know any way to do it I will be greatful for sharing it.

I read about this article just now, seems it was tested on rooted Galaxy S5. Root is a prerequisite, is your T805 rooted?

Use the app "advanced signal status" from the playstore. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....cc.signalinfo).
Under the button "additional info" you can see and set your preferences.

Ive rooted this device and was able to read move all the bloat ware it had on it
However one issue that I havent been able to resolve is the network selection option that is missing on this phone and its stuck on 3g showing 4g on display and this is subsequently killing my battery life . If any of you have a work around on this issue it would be o great help
Thing I have tried already and failed

2 phone info app but can't edit the settings

Download LTE Setting by Ryo Ueshima in the Play store.
It doesn't seem to work ??

I am not sure if this is affecting the N910T or the N910T3. I have a N910T3 and it seems there is NO way of installing Kids Mode anymore.
Is everyone else seeing this?

I used to have it on my Galaxy Note 10.1 and it disappeared also after upgrading to 5.1.1. Galaxy Appstore shows as incompatible with both devices. That sucks, my 4yr old son loved it.
tried to install on my n910t stock 5.1.1 from galaxy app store , installed and seems to work perfectly fine.

Would it be possible to to extract the apk and share? It's not showing up in galaxy appstore and Playstore says it's incompatible for my device. I guess it's because I'm rooted with custom rom.

That's most definitely why. It's not showing up on galaxy app store because your rom isn't compatible. It's a galaxy app so if you want to use it your gonna have to use a stock rom. Even if I did share the apk I doubt it would install. Aptoid has it too, so if that doesn't work you're outta luck.
I'm not rooted, don't have custom rom and Im having this problem as well. Neither Samsung or Tmobile will address the issue or a resolution.

Yep, I have the same problem. It have a notice "parent control has been not responding" and FC.
I thinks it cause the new Firwame DOK2
should wait for a new update
They may have removed kids mode. I read somewhere that sammy removed it from new devices. I have also heard that it is missing from the Note 5 and the 6 Edge Plus.

Then tried to root the phone and install Xposed + IMEI Chaneger but as I found out Xposed is not compatible with stock rom.
My phone is Samsung Note 5 Universal edition with Android 7.0
Any suggestions?

does the imei of blocked phone need to be the same as your phone that does work on the tmobile network?

Xposed is compatible with stock rom, check official xposed thread.

Changing IMEIs are illegal in most countries and is not discussed on XDA Thread closed

Since Today i have an Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Duos SM-N960F (German DBT)
The Big Problem is that only SIM Card Slot 1 is affected when using tools like 4g Switcher or just in the Phone Info Tool.
In the Samsung Network Settings even when Sim Card Slot 1 is disabled you can not change to 4g only on SIM2 .
Yes i can switch my Sim Cards but i need them both with possibility of 4g Only in some cases.
I have no Root i know this would work with servicemode and bandselection because here you can choose the wanted Sim card and
then use the BAND Selection for LTE bands and so on. But without Root there is no way to Enter the Real Servicemode ( *#0011#)
Any Idea ?

Absolutely no way the problem is almost no one is interested in that. I was sick of all this and rooted my note 9 and installed the Alexndr dev Rom with latest pie and Magisk 18.1
The problem is that Samsung changed everything in pie and even with root all secret codes on Germany DBT are not working! Nothing. I was trying to find the EFS/carrier file but it's not there for anabling secret codes. That was how it worked with older models like note 7 and 8.
Even rooted and using Apps like Samsung Phone Information or shortcut manager are not working with Samsung and latest Pie. They get Root permission but not launching any Service codes even with root launcher. I contacted developer but no one uses pie and are doing anything.
The only thing that is working now is that I have LTE Only mode directly in the settings for both Sim cards and its working because the Dev Modified his rom. So that's what I needed but I am very disappointed that I can not enter service mode for changing specific LTE bands.
So if anyone with European N960f is able to use secret codes and real Servicemode with Android 9 please tell me which rom and csc you are.

I don't know if u can change bands but you can make shortcut master to work.
Open the app and favorite the section u want.... Eg: service mode.
Then click repeatedly on the favorite shortcut...
It will ask for root and then it should work

No even with Root and Android Pie not one Program is Working at the Moment. Even Rooted on my Note 9 with Alex Dev Rom Latest Pie and Magisk 18.1 it's not possible to
use secret codes this is redicules. First time Samsung Phone Infomation and also shortcut manager are not working even when granted root permission and launched via root launcher.
I am also active on other forums and no one has a solution . So i think i am the only one in the World wo want to change LTE Bands on my Note 9 with Pie.

You can do so under both Oreo and Pie by changing the CSC to "SIN" as the code *#2263# works there directly out of the dialer.
Sry for late reply. Glad I helped you out with that rom.
Now I have an note 10+ and I will not root anymore because to many apps will cause problems nowadays. I am glad that at least for sim1 lte only is easy possible. I am sure that it is also possible for the 2 sim slot on Samsung devices but the needed code for that is still kept a secret.
alright im trying to get spoofing to work on pokemon go.
Firs im running:
- Galaxy s7
- Sm-G930w8
- Android 8.0.0
-samsung exp version 9.0
So i followed a link that explained how to flash TWRP. I got that installed on my custom rom.
Then i moved to this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053/amp/
And followed all the steps. And then i got a ERROR: mock location class not found
So i found somewhere that my service file was not deodexed properly so i used smali/baksmali to deodexed my service files that worked like a charm came back to smali patched and browsed to my file.location and tried to run it and still got the same damn error.
What am i missing here.?
Need help a bit lost and stuck been reading alot but can seem to find what is causing this error...

Okay i tryed to spoof on pogo and i did it
I have an samsung galaxy s9+ rooted android 10 one ui 2.0
How i did it?
First root ur phone with magisk
Then install smali patcher with mock location and signature spoofing -> turn smali on in magisk
After that download fake gps joystick and set it as mock location in dev option open fake gps joystick and Go to quick options and download custom markers
After that go into fix GPS jump to reap location and check fix 1, 2 and 3 on now go into settings and enable A-GPS reset
And that is it.
This works for me without teleporting back to real locations
And i hope it works for u to

I just recently updated my ROM to the latest Pixel Experience which is still active for Asus ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 (X01BD).
Everything is fine and smooth after installing the rom. i didn't find any bugs. Even Pokemon Go is running fine.
After installing magisk then setting up the "Hide the Magisk app" and adding PoGo on the DenyList, it kepts on saying "Unable to authenticate. Please try again." every time i open PoGo.
can anyone help me on how to run PoGo?
