[q] miui please!!!!

Is there any way or has anyone successfully ported MIUI to the SPRINT Hero cdma? I have been looking for a way to port it simply(because I am clueless)!!!!

No, and it probably won't get done It would be very laborious, and most likely wouldn't even run well at all

But I see that the EVO has it. And doesn't the heroc have ported EVO roms?

is there any proven way for inc s ?

I remember someone did it for Hero but you might have to customize the ROM first.

Even if this is possible, both of the ROMs would need to be either Froyo based or GB based because they would have to share the radio. Currently on IncS Froyo radio won't work on GB ROM and vice versa.

[Q] AOSP 4.4

Has anyone tried compiling 4.4 with the current device trees? I've been told by a few people that it works for the most part?

atm there isn't any rom as i can see with 4.4...
Maybe will come out more roms when the update for the GE will come out

There is only one rom available in 4.4 right now, as far as I know, and it's for the Nexus.

i know a few teams are working on it but nothing workable yet

Even i tried the same but i faced a problem and was not able to solve it.
I did port it successfully and was able to flash it too..... but the camera was not working....all i could see i a black screen ...
Do you know what could be the problem ??

Maybe, Send me your rom, and il try fixing the camera app.
inbox me your rom and source (If possible with all details) and how you flashed your rom from default? or ?.... [email protected]
Other than that i think we can both compile a cm for our device because you already compiled it. il try fixing the cam issue.
what i can try doing is fixing the camera app itself or i can remove the cam app and use a different one from the google play market and then make it a system application see if that could fix the issue.
By the way, do you think this rom would work for The SHV-E120L Edition? if you dont il give it a test and see how it turns out.

Nope, we won't see a CM12 build anytime soon, and even if we do get one, it will surely be unstable/slow as hell

Especially when the AndroidARMv6 devs didn't get any luck porting ART to 'deprecated' devices. Just buy another phone, I recommend the 2014 Moto G if you're going to switch.
