Happened to me as well. I'm personally curious as to what it is.
@eXplicit815 @Indirect
From what I've read online, it's pretty much an apk that HTC made for logging purposes (?) and due to some glitchiness it expired early, leading to the notification. According to the Sprint forums they're currently talking to HTC about an update or something to fix this.

Hi all,
I figure that I can't get much more off topic than asking for BB files in an android forum. I'm looking for the 2 certificate files needed so my wife's BB torch can use WIFI calling on T-mobile. I've found tons different forum posts but the download links to the necessary files are dead. The SEGW certificate is called "T-Mobile USA, inv. Engineering and Operations CA". I'm hoping that somebody here is using their ATT BB Torch on T-mobile and can PM me a link. Thanks so much!

Ha!! I wish I could hit the "Thanks" button. I knew that I'd most likely get flamed for this post, but didn't think that I'd laugh so hard.

The solution to this fear is get a Nexus..
Great Power comes Great Responsibility ...
Use it in a sentence?
The word with the opposite meaning is rootofilia.

If only that were true - I got a Nexus 5X earlier today, which was totally unexpected (I had a faulty G2 which I sent off to repair, the shop lost it and gave me a store credit to replace it) and I don't yet have a USB A-C cable, so I can't!
That's definitely a first world problem but I've never owned any Android device, let alone a Nexus which wasn't rooted/running a custom ROM by the end of the first day I owned it :crying:
Clearly, I'm a rootophile!
Wow, well i have rootophobia, or maybe are brickphobia.
I've got a binary disorder, Rootophobia. Causes massive RAM consumption and migraines.
And here I thought rooting was instinctual.
Hi everybody!
I usually do not use/see my phone while charging, but today I've got a SMS notification and found a strange charging screen over the lock screen with advertising on it!!

I'm pretty sure that this was happening before the update to MM!!
googling around I have found posts about a specific app addded by Asus, could it be that Lenovo did the same?
I didn't found anything strange on my phone apps list
I have runned a full scan with Dr. WEB and it didn't found anything
I am almost sure ( Smiley Happy ) that I didn't install crappy apps, but I may have inadvertingly followed a couple of adv links..
Anyone else is having such screen on MotoG2 with MM? How can I serach for the app showing that screen?
This evening I'll check on my wife's MotoG2...
Thank you!
I have found the (f******g) app: ES App Locker!!
Anobody knows a similar tool? For sure I will not reinstall this one!! And I'm going to give it ONE star right now!!
Addendum: while posting the review on the store I've seen that v1.1.1 was released yesterday... I'm ready to bet that it's this current version that has added this undesiderable feature...
This came from a Samsung S7 forum, but it looks like it works on my phone. I stopped just short of any changes. But it was definitely ready to do something.

I doubt it does anything other than reset a phone for resale, say refurbished phones. Reset the phone in the phone settings to wipe it, then type this command to reset the provisions etc. Put it in box for the next customer to turn on and have a new phone experience. I hope I am wrong, but this would be too easy...
It didn't do much at all. Same thing as ##SCRTN# as far as I can tell.
Another idea, with the A9 you could s-off then change MID and CID to match US dev edition (or whatever) then run the RUU for that
I've personally tried this on M9 (not A9) and was somewhat successful (Sprint radio was needed to get reception working).
Just a thought to get ride or that Sprint-ware....
Guys. My device just came back from the service centre. I see an app in the battery settings called Cameralyzer. What is this? I can't find much about it online. Can I remove this via adb?
Do you have a screenshot? Especially from the App-Icon

It looks like, this is a Test-App for the Camera.
The App has many permissions...
...and one Activity, but I could not launch it.
Found a post on reddit about this that linked to this website.
Apparently a bloatware that allows vulnerability to the phone.
I recommend delete it...
NVD - CVE-2020-15577
nvd.nist.gov
Thanks for all the inputs. I think I'll let it run for a day or 2 and see what really happens. It could be a test software that the service center installed to check the camera...

I don't think it has been specifically installed as I just checked my S21+ which never visited any service center and I found the same app installed
