Suggestions for watchfaces - Pebble

Just an idea - I use Canvas and the only weather options I have are Yahoo and Openweather, neither of which works real well. I'd like to be able to simply emulate what weather my S5 is showing on the phone screen to my watch. That way my weather is consistent and the program the S5 uses is very accurate. Any of you app wizards out there want to try that? Or let me know why that doesn't work? Thanks!

[Q] Social Hub app

I have the apk (UnifiedInbox.apk) from the i9000 dump, but everytime I try to install, it doesnt. I even tried putting in /system/app to get it to work on a reboot, and still nada. I'd like to use this to have all my accounts in one place, and it seems to look decent from what I've seen. I've heard of other Galaxy S (Captivate, for example) not allowing it to install either
I'd love this!!
I'd also love to have this. I used it when I had my captivate running an i9000 rom, but I was hoping someone could tell me what files i need to make this run on any other phone. I was able to install the social hub e mail program which is what I really want. When i launch it, it comes up but then says no seven service available. What does that mean. I know it can work but I just don't know what's needed to make it work. Someone please help! Maybe I'm just missing the Actual social hub app. The envelope with the 2 symbols on it, because I don't have that and don't know the name of it.
Is this it? http://www.google.com/m/url?ei=IiSp...AQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNE-iO2qeo4sWLeai15BXCc326-22A
Launcher Pro Plus has a widget that combines Facebook/Twitter, which im sure at some point will be expanded to the other networks. Just in case this doesn't work out for you.

Oh I know, I don't want a widget though. I already use the Feeds and Updates widget for that functionality. I'm more interested in an app, no widget, that would combine all email accounts, social networking, etc, like Social Hub does.

The one i'm talking about is on the Samsung Galaxy S (Non US versions) that seem to have this. I'm not sure what this is, but I will check it either way, so thanks for the link!
EDIT: So I checked that apk, all it does is aggregate social networks (FB, Twitter, MS, and Flickr) in an app. Looking for that, but also multiple inboxes for different email accounts, not just social networking. Thanks again though!

Hey, Just picked mine up today, been holding off on the Inspire cause I was waiting for the "holiday."

Not old at all actually. The day I created it, I went through my installed applications and hand picked them. It was called something else and they changed the name only very recently.

Edit: Also just realized there was a typo in my original post. It's fixed now.

that app never worked fine for me... I use another app called "MB Notifications for FB (Free)" (had a different name before but was suspended by Facebook for a while and had to change name)

I'm thinking of buying the pro version since the app is quite cool
Just bought a stylus. Was hoping it'd work on the vivid! If so, are there any note taking apps that are really nice? Thanks!
I use evernote with skitch, but there are more 'notebook' style apps out there that I'm only vaguely familiar with. Anyone else have suggestions? Also, which stylus did you get? I was thinking about getting one for use with my nook and vivid.

Does stylus work on Vivid ? Can you confirm please ..
Thanks
Any stylus should work, it's a matter of how well it works. without the custom software like the htc flyer and with the big footprint of most stylii, notes seem to take up way too much real estate on my phone, but acceptable on tablet. Personal preference though.

Not true. Has to t least be capacitive.
Oh. I sorta took the capacitive to be a given. Probably shouldn't have though...
There was one I liked but I can't think of the name right now. Will post it when it comes to me though. Acase seems decent but they all look like bit of a rip off to me. Could just buy capacitive foam, wire, and make your own. Tons of videos out there on how-to.
I'm wondering if the HTC one will work with our phone, the one used on the Flyer and Jetstream.
That would be awesome. Even more if we could get the app that lets us pen notes while recording and then link them to our calender, like with the tablets.
A student's perfect tool

Weather on Pebble Not Finding My Location

I'm getting different cities when I load weather. I put long/lat in and still, nada. I must be doing something wrong with the long/lat. I'm in Fredericton NB, Canada. Help!!!
Plus, what's the best weather app?
I'm not sure about the weather location issue. Is it still close? Some apps are just not as accurate and maybe the latitude isn't working. As for the best weather app, I found Glance to be most accurate with location and temperature. This is when I chose Glance to use Yahoo Weather. However, some of us have been discussing in my other thread that Glance reduces the battery life to about 3 days. Although, this might be the same for all weather apps.

I've had it happen in most weather apps I install. One location came up in Europe when I typed in my long/lat. LOL!
Glad to hear it's not just me. I live in Lancaster, PA but so far the weather has shown me San Jose and Las Vegas. I can never fix it, but it goes back on its own at some point

Same here - Salt Lake City - and my weather is always off. I really really want this capability but it hasn't been accurate in either Glance or Canvas. I tried the Canvas forum and got ignored so there's no help there. BTW, I use Canvas because, except for this, it allows me more leeway on designing how I want my watch to look. Like it better than Glance.

Best App

Hi everyone!
Just got my LG G R the other day, part-ex'd it for my old Gear 2 Neo.
So far the watch is so much better than the Samsung one, it looks better, feels better, performs better and is more customizable.
3 hours after getting my watch I was running LeeDrOID and I'm getting into the whole sideloading apps, what apps have you guys found to be must have's for your watch?
I was looking at the android wear forum that has a list of working apps via sideload but just wanted to know what your favourite sideload/non-sideload apps are for this watch.
These are some must have apps for your smart watch
Interval Timer
Interval Timer will come in handy by allowing you to record your split times, reps, rest periods.
Wear Audio Recorder
you can quickly record the sound around you using this simple app. Using the Google Material design guidelines, the app lets you sync to both Google Drive and Dropbox, and you can even record with the screen display off if you'd prefer people not to know.
Aeris Wear Weather
Aeris is one of the best ones out there at the moment. Get detailed hourly forecasts for your day, check the weather in other locations, and even see a weather map from regional radar.

Good stock ticker app?

I'm looking for a good stock ticker app for my Nook Simple Touch similar in function to the Apple Stocks or Google/Yahoo Finance apps. Please let me know if anyone has something that you like to use!

I'm not familiar with either of the examples you cite (or with Stocks apps), but a quick search of currently available apps for Android 2.1 in the PlayStore (using the Yalp Store app) shows only a few free ones. I tried the MiniStocks widget but could not get it to do anything. Even if it could be coaxed into doing something it looks like the color scheme would make it pretty useless for the NST.
StockMarket (attached below) at least appears to work in that it displays stock information. Whatever else it might do, I didn't investigate.
The problem with digging around for an old app somewhere is that the API used to get the stock information is probably no longer valid. At least in StockMarket it still appears to be able to get data. Whether that data is the sort of thing you want, only you can tell.
