Has anyone used a 2 amp charger for thier gear live? I want to know if its safe to or not.
I am using this multilader and no Problem at all
http://www.amazon.de/Mulitport-Lade...=1408442325&sr=8-9&keywords=multi+ladestation
I have had zero luck with 2.1a chargers. I've tried it with 2 different Ipad chargers as well as the Anker 5 port usb charger (very similar to the one listed above http://goo.gl/iXQj6K)
The highest amp I've been able to use is 1.8a.
Just my observations.
I did it all days with a Samsung 2.0A charger and have no problems.

Hi guys. I would like to know what to look out for when buying a 3rd party charger for the Galaxy Note 2. For wall and car. I am using a cheap usb car charger which i bought from ebay ard $2 for my old Galaxy S2 and it works great. But when I charge my new Note 2, it was very slow.

The stock Note 2 charger is rated at 2A, so anything less will charge the Note 2 slower.
Soo ill just find a 2A usb adapter for my car or wall? will it make my battery faulty using a 3rd party 2A usb adapter?

Depends on the quality of the charger. You get what you pay for. Cheap & nasty is usually exactly that.
If in doubt, put the thing on a multimeter and check its output.
Does anybody has been tried to Charge #GNote2 using non samsung charger? example Sony Charger, iPad Charger? does using another brand will cause some problem? or it's okay?
I use a charger from my old HTC Amaze 4G at work and a random radio Shack dual USB car charger. Both work fine, no issues and I've had my phone since release day.

I've used at least 4 different chargers and they all work fine, it just charges faster with a higher amp output
Thanks you...
The best charger Ive used is the HP touchpad charger.... 2A
im just using the 2A charger i got with my nexus 7. works like a dream.
I have read countless threads and looked at many chargers and I just can't seem to find a 2a car and a 2a home charger. I just ordered this charger and this cable and it just doesn't work above 700ma. When I use the stock cable I get to 1300mah for a sec and then about 900 steady. This is on both ports. Someone please help me before I lose it! The only one that works at 1500mah is the cable and charger that came with my phone.
Charger
Cable
Thanks in advance.
Well, I can say from repeated certainty that this 6' cable charges at the same rate as the stock cable but is actually nice.

Also, my Qmadix car charger with dual 2.1A ports does very near stock AC levels when charging 1 device. My results are in the mega 2A car charger thread, but that's a spendy charger.

EDIT:Redundent
As far as home chargers, HP Touchpad charger is the winner easily. IME. Expensive but worth it.

A quick search on the lowest priced "oem note 2 charger" on ebay got me these, both 2A:
Home
Car
I saw a cable at Best Buy which is pretty nice, it has El Wire that flashes quickly(battery at 0-65%), slow (battery at 66-99%) and turns off when the battery is full. Would that cable be okay to use to charge my phone?

go on the google play store and buy the nexus 7 2A charger. im using that one for my note 2 and its working flawlessly.
I have a cheap gas station 2 port usb car charger rated at 2amp for one port and 1amp for the other. Works great and I think it cost maybe 10 bucks. My phone charges at well over 1300mah in the car using a cheap usb cable I got at walgreens or some ****

I just went to Walgreens also. They have 2 usb port car chargers that charge one port at 2.1amp and the other at 1amp. It was only 10$. They also have a 2.1 amp wall charger as well.

I'm also looking for 2A replacement... How's the charging time compare to the stock Note 2 charger?
how do you measure the output while the device is charging? Is there an app to test how much juice is coming in real time?
I use a 2A HP Touchpad charger in my living room and a T-Mobile branded 3A dual USB charger in my bedroom (see links below). The T-Mobile charger charges my Note2 from 9% to 100% in less than 2 hours when I only use 1 of the USB ports. I'm not sure what the rate is when both ports are used. I've had this for a couple years and use it to charge (individually and simultaneously) my phones and tablets without any problem.

T-Mobile is out of stock, but you can find it on ebay for $6 refurbished or $13 new.

There's also the Blackberry Playbook Folding Blade charger that pushes 1.8A.

I'm using "Battery Monitor Pro" not sure how accurate it is but most people I ran across seems to use that app.

2 Amps. Extra USB port. Fixed wire (so you don't lose it). Bought it in October and it works awesome.
$12.89. It's the best option out there, IMO (aside from the stock one).

I have that one, super slim profile so it looks like its part of your car instead of something plugged into your cigarette lighter. Works like a charm.
so ive been searching for a wireless charger for my verizon lg g2 but all the ones ive seen have a 2amp max drain but a 1 amp max output. do you guys know of any wireless charger (compatible with my verizon g2) that can output 2 amps? (even if it requires more than two to do so?)
I don't think they make one. One of the downfalls to wireless charging. If you want fast charging going to have to stick to plugging it in.

Guys,
Is it safe to charge the gear (on cradle) with the Galaxy Note 3 charger - rather than using the charger gear was supplied with in the box?
There is a difference, Note 3 Charger is 5V, and Gear Charger is 4.5V.
Its headache to carry both chargers when im travelling...
Thanks!

my gear charger is in my computer usb
so there is no difference really, the internal componants in the gear and note3 change the voltage to 3.7 volts anyway
usb is a standard and should be 5volts, or between 4.5 and 5

I haven't tried it but have read that higher amperage chargers like the Note 3's don't charge the Gear 2. Devices only pull as much amperage as they need so I don't think it will hurt. You might want to wait for an expert to chime in though.
Its the amperage you have to be concerned with. Most, if not all of the newer devices these days have smart sensors built-in, so higher amperage will not be an issue, the gear cradle will only pull what is needed.
If the charger cannot meet the specified amperage, ie lower amperage, the device will charge much slower, but it will still charge.
The voltage is not that big of a concern, most chargers have anywhere between 4-5V specification.
devices only take what they need *laymens*
devices only draw as much current as they need
a 315mA battery will not draw 5A of current
im a electronic engineer
Thanks a lot for your feedback guys!
I've tried to use my samsung 2.0amp charger and the watch won't charge. I have to use 1 amp charger or lower to work
