hi, i recently rooted my samsung galaxy s3 mini and installed cwm recovery successfully.
i then proceeded to try and install cyanogenmod 11 kitkat 4.4 but now is stuck in the cyanogenmod loading sceen.
i backed up ,then wiped data and cache as well as delvik but no success.
please help, im a total noob

Ok so I flashed a custom rom on my exhibit and everything was fine, I actually changed a couple of times and it was still perfect. But when I changed to slimbean 4.2.2 rom and I deleted the nova launcher app (stupid of me I didn't know that was the system launcher). When I tried to restore a backup I had made when it was stock except for cwm recovery it said error restoring /system. When I try to flash roms it won't go past the boot menus, but if I flash the slimbean rom it works perfectly fine... Any help is appreciated and sorry for my bad english as it is not my native language.
Wipe rom at least 3 times, or system in twrp

Did that and it works fine when I flash a custom rom but I tried to flash a root stock one and it doesn't work all it gets is stuck on the team insomnia boot logo still thanks very much because it worked

Stock room should not be showing anything from team insomnia, what recovery are you using?

I just downloaded a flash2stock because I want to stay on complete stock and unroot for a while but I was using cwm
Please Help Me.My samsung galaxy mini stucks at starting screen (at screen that tells : Galaxy Mini GT-S5570) and its not going foward just staying at that screen.This happened after I tried to increase my phone internal storage with odin.I have clockworkmod recovery and I can go to downloading mode or recovery. Please help faster as you can
Just wipe data from clockworkmod.

If this doesn't help wipe data factory reset but you know that your data... goes.

Did it , same not working , stucking at that screen.
reflash your rom, but before doing that do a backup in recovery mode. that way you wont lose any data...
Re flash the rom, if stock rom flash it with odin, if custom rom than via clockwork.
Dont panic unless you can go into download mode.
Download mode is very helpful.

Yes. If you can go in download mode just flash a original firmware and that's it.

I have Samsung galaxy tab 8.9
Tried to root and then install CyanogenMod
turned tab off and gets stuck at Samsung galaxy tab 8.9 logo
when plugged in crashes on battery charging logo , computer does not recognise the tablet either.
tried on two different computers so....
tried to factory reset and rebooted still gets stuck
Any help would be appreciated
so confused as to what has happened

Which CM?
What recovery?
Did you try a hard reboot right after install?
Tried hardreboot and yes gt 8.9
The cm that I used was the one recomend for the 8.9
What can I do next?

There are 3 different 8.9's. 7300, 7310, and 7320.
There are several CM roms. 9, 10, 10.1, 10.2.
What recovery are you using?

Try flashing a different rom. Either C-o-m's cm10.1 or any of addem123's stable roms.
Do a full wipe, including a factory reset, wipe dalvik cache, format system partition.
If that doesn't work, I'd suggest flashing a stock rom with odin.

Also, you should be using either the latest cwm from c-o-m's cm10.1 thread , or twrp from the a1 kernel thread.

Hello guys i just flashed cm 10.1.3 on my i9305 everything is working perfect except mobile data..... It seems that i can access only 2g networks...im sure my apn settings are fine... Any ideas??

I flashed cm10.2 a while ago and had no issues with it. Maybe have a look through the cm rom threat as in there someone put a link to the 10.2 as its not listed in the stable cm wiki.
Maybe try flash stock 4.1.2 then flash cm 10.2, and not forgetting to wipe data, cache and dalvik. Worked for me at the time.

Finally i found the solution i entered smsc settings from *#*#4636#*#* andt then i typed next to the SMSC my carrier's sms center number in that form : "+xxxxxxxx".....boom it worked!! ty all for your answers!!
P.S. i'm sticking with the stable version....

not the right section for this but ok...
i installed MIUI a while ago to test it and had no problem...was able to go back to stock....
try flashing stock first...and after that flash kk ROM...

what recovery do you use?

Have you tried using Odlin or Kies? Did you do a factory reset, might reset on the rom instead of stock.

I was on miui and i tried factory reset and full wipe in recovery... Also unable to mount this partition. Never tried by kies or odin. Now i am on custom Sammy rom... Amcha. Will try today again
