[ROM] FrostBlur v1.3 [8/12/11] Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread {Droid X Port}

FrostBlur v1.3​Port from Droid X based off of Team Xron's EVO Port​I am in no way responsible for anything you do to your own phone.​Please read the entire OP.​
This ROM is in early stages of development. Not much works. It takes a while for it to boot the first time, just wait, it will though. When it does finally turn on, don't worry if the screen seems extremely glitchy, it is, you aren't just seeing things and it isn't only your phone. Things that are and aren't working are posted below. Feel free to send me a message if you can help out with anything that isn't working, seeing as I'm only a Junior in high-school, it would be great if this could be more of a community project. If you have any issues, just ask a question and I'll try to answer as soon as possible.

Download (CWM3 Compatible) (Read install instructions):
FrostBlur v1.3
If it gets stuck at splash, just hold volume down and power to get
into HBOOT then select Recovery to get into CWM in order to
restore from a backup.​

A little of it, yes. It is faster, but not much else. Also moved a few things around inside.
EDIT: As of now, no. It's based on Team Xrons port for the EVO 4G

Have you swapped the /system/lib/egl libs and libgsl.so from a working Inc rom? Might fix gfx glitches.

That's what's nice about the running on an AOSP kernel. Hopefully a working GB kernel will help boot the GB Blur.

Just did a little editing, gonna flash and see if I fixed or made any progress in the graphics.
EDIT: Forgot to sign it before installing -.- I'll try again tomorrow, I'm getting tired. Peace out! Till tomorrow of course.

Did you have permission from the original devs? I don't think so. I understand Jdkoreclipse is not a member here but there were others that were involved including myself. It is not wise to release something you did not ask permission for and obviously did not know what was put into it.

Virtuous Inquisition is a an ICS (4.0.3) Senseless ROM, meaning essentially all Sense components have been removed in favor of their AOSP counterparts. Everything except the camera app has been replaced. Any work, such as mods or fixes, you would like to contribute would be gladly accepted. The project has one goal, to provide a ROM which is as close-to-AOSP-ICS as possible.

Based off the HTC 3.26.502.56 *release* base.
Sense has effectively been removed. Some components may be coming back (such as the camera and music player), as they are better than their AOSP counterparts. I'll provide an option for purists who want AOSP-only-no-matter-what.
Remaining HTC framework beautifully themed to match ICS by shnizlon.
Faux005 Holiday Kernel
Pre-rooted with the latest version of Superuser and modified ramdisk to allow adb remount, mock locations, etc.
IO optimizations including the use of ext4 with writeback journaling for all mounts and larger read-ahead buffer for improved sdcard performance.
Automated battery calibration. Just plug your phone in after a wipe and charge it to full (preferably overnight), then let our script do the rest.
Over the air updates via Goo Manager.

Please excuse my ignorance but if flashing this on a non-s-off vivid do I just need to extract the boot.IMG and flash that via fastboot then flash the Rom in recovery? Thanks in advance for useful and constructive answers!

Noticing the contact look up bug. Typing a persons name in the "to" field of a text message will not bring them up correctly. The dialer does work however.

This ROM was source built using my own custom device tree, but failed so i ported it using Nikhils as a base, so i'm not sure whether this counts as port or source build but i'm counting it as a source build :3

Nah, i'm just gonna leave you guys with a half finished ROM without any updates and make you all struggle with these bugs and an absence of Halo for the rest of Desire C's Existance!!! Mwhahahahaha.
No seriously i'm trying but it's harder then you thing, it keeps giving errors, but i'm trying! Please don't ask me to fix bugs because i am trying and i get a tad wound up when people ask for fixes, if you want it done quickly then try and do it yourself because it's harder then you think!
Future updates will come with fixes, this is still only the first build! sorry that sounds rude but it's the truth ^^^^^

It is 4.4.4 !!

After installing rom i have pulsing red cover around the screen and it is very annoying, i have no keyboard, only the google speaker.
Guess its not ready for daily use.

Yup, flashed it and saw it. Unfortunately, there is a strong graphical glitch:
After booting up I've realized a red blinking frame (red lines on the edges of the display). That is annoying of course but surely something that can be wiped out in future releases.
As far as I can say something beyond this after ten minutes, this ROM looks really good

I can confirm the same red frame flickering around the screen making the ROM unusable. It actually increases my migraine ...
I just realized there is no camera ... and ofcourse i flashed PA GAPPS Micro

I think it doesnt solve the issue ... there is currently no camera in the ROM. I flashed twice, the same problem.

Did you reboot after adding the lines?

I didnt flash any custom kernel ... I'm running the stock kernel

I assumed you were, any kernels you guys want built into this?
Also, did it fix with a reboot (red)

1. Copy ROM zip and gapps zip to your sdcard
2. Reboot into recovery
3. If coming from 5.1 or below or a different ROM wipedata/factory reset your phone
4. Flash ROM
5. Flash gapps
6. Reboot and enjoy.

Is it okay to install the 6.0 newest gapps or stick to the 5.1 ones? Just asking because it says the rom needs a patch in order to install those.

I did the 6 ones. Aroma install hangs at the end, but I've seen this before in other Aroma installs. Stays in "please wait"...... Good thing is booting as we speak.

Stability, Camera, GPS, Bluetooth?
Can anyone confirm these things?
In a perfect world I would run AOKP with the 60fps stock camera mod, stable, working gps, bluetooth, etc.

camera working fine... testing the other things

Lost cell network. After rebooting everything is ok. Blue tooth detected some devices. Dont know if it has the sound bug.....
Update: This rom is a beast. Thank you OP and AOKP Dev Team for this rom. Truly a state of the art, after you install the dark material theme...... Love it.

That's correct. Aroma ones. Clean install. At the end Aroma hangs. Needed to take battery out. After rebooting everything went nicely.......

I get dizzy of all the customization settings... LOL......Wondering if you need Xposed.........Well Xposed is for so many things......

I have Xposed installed and a myriad of modules, couldn't tell you whether or not specific ones have issues, also, I run the OpenGapps ARM64 Stock 6.0 install, no Aroma, working great.
