Hi,
My galaxy tab was locked (I forget the password) I tried to root it to unset the password
So I followed a tutorial to root a Galaxy Tab3 (with Odin_v3.07 and T210_CWM.6.0.4.7.recovery)
Well I turn my table on download mode and I lunch the odin and I click start,
Well I have a galaxy tab and I think what I tried is for galaxy tab 3
So the odin is not showing any progress I close my tab
and when I tried to boot it I got this image( well I can post the image here but it's like a phone and a computer and between them exclamation mark)
any help please

I could use some help. During my rom upgrade to stock JMK/JMA/JM5 with Odin my laptop hung.
I have tried the following recovery:
IF your Tab does not boot after flashing the kernel and hangs at the Samsung Galaxy Tab screen, you must follow the following procedure
Get a stock rom package (any of Rotohammer's firmwares will work)
Get P1_add_hidden.zip attached to this post and extract the P1_add_hidden.pit file (http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...4&d=1299767473)
Using Odin 1.7, put stock rom (Roto-JME-Full-v4.tar for example) in PDA slot.
Put P1_add_hidden.pit in Pit slot
Check repartition box
Put Tab in download mode by holding Volume Down and Power, connect to the computer, and press start.
After this, the Tab will reboot normally.
After doing this the Tab still does not pass the Samsung Galaxy Tab Screen. Any ideas please how to proceed from here.
Tab is European GSM tab, was rooted with the protected bootloader removed.
Try dividing the steps. Flash the pit file first alone in odin. Then close ODIN flash the ROM thereafter. Also you might want to try the JMI ROM as well.
Will try that. Does the battery keep charged or does it charge even in galaxy tab screen?
Getting a bit nervous here. Flashing in parts or using JMI does not work. The Tab is still not getting past the Galaxy Tab screen. Pit flash with Odin 3 1.7 is successful, JMI Rom Flash is also successful...
What now???????
Any help is appreciated
Be sure to put the right files in the right slots in Odin
you can also use ADB to get to different boot modes like Download mode
Code:
adb reboot recovery
Code:
adb reboot download
You should be able to use ADB from the Samsung screen
Hope you resolve your issue dude but for future reference...

Hm...no mate...sorry... I think this sort of is it for your device... Flashing S2 firmwares on the Note does have that effect.
You could try a JIG, although it's a longshot, but most certainly be ready to take it to Sammy's service center. Say something went wrong while updating through Kies, although they might figure it out.
If they do figure it out, you're probably looking at a new motherboard, in the area of 200$ from what other users in similar situations have reported.
Try jtag or riff box.. Works well for samsung skyrocket, captivate and the likes. Might work for the note as well..
It could be that it's just the screen that doesent work but you are actully in download mode.
this happend to me once with my Nexus S, i flashed wrong rom to phone.
try connecting phone to PC and open CMD and run "adb devices" and se if the computer recognize the phone even thow the screen is black.
like i said, i had this problem once when flashing I9020T rom on my I9023 Nexus S once.
the screen that doesent work but you are actully in download mode !!!!!!!!!
try it until you got there

Why in the world would you do that anyway!?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA
hmm
usually flashing different roms do brick the phone
and phone do not turn on. But atleast you can power up your device.
You can use jig to force your device to boot into download mode.
It may not work, but I heard few people got theirs work.

Please do this:

Hello,
yesterday I got my refurb galaxy tab 8.9 wifi only (GT-P7310) from uk. on the back you can find the following: GT-P7310-MA16ARB.
if a want to start and hold down power or power and volume down, after 10-15 sec it appears "samsung galaxy tab 8.9" on screen. after that it turn back to black screen.
i installed root without any problems and then i installed rom manager with recovery clock. because there was no galaxy tab 8.9 i choosed 10.1, because i thougt it should be mostly has the same specs.
how can i now get back to (my working) stock rom? for odin i thought it must be in recovery mode, which does not start anymore.

Use Odin and download the firmware for your version, you may try using a cyanogenmod software or any other that you can install using Odin in download mode...
heres one version http://get.novafusion.pl/?id=1722
it's for odin, you only need to put your device in download mode by turning the s3 mini on while pressing vol down and home buttom, then Use odin to upgrade the software
i recommend this one becouse it's easy to install, by the way you only need to search for gapps.
N00b here, So I have tried to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 T810 running Lolipop 5.1.1 using this method:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgrdq66P5Jk
but I accidently made the rookie mistake of not turning on oem unlock bootloader in the developer settings and it got stuck in a bootloop, so I tried flashing stock rom using this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/general/stock-collection-sm-t810-stock-odin-t3204373
OdinV3 3.10.7 keeps freezing to 'leave Cs...'
Please help me, I would like to return my Galaxy Tab S2 To factory settings and how to properly root the device along with fixing OdinV3 3.10.7
Update: I have been trying to fix this for 45 minutes now and nothing is working, I really, really REALLY need help. Please someone help!
Have you installed the Samsung USB drivers. You need to see the added message in odin. The firmware goes in the AP slot.
