normally you can find the correct APN on your carrier's website or directly by calling the tech support.

I recently got my vivid and when I got it the lte wasn't working so I found what I needed to change the apn and I copied everything verbatim and now my mms isn't working. I made sure everything was correct and even deleted the apn and redid it but still my pictures get stuck in a continuous sending loop. Any help would be appreciated. Here are screenshots of my settings, maybe I missed something?

Just do this...
1) go to your local att store
2) ask for an LTE compatible sim (if you have one skip to 3)
3) ask them to enable LTE on your phone...no you won't be charged extra, no your plan won't be changed...everything will be the same except you now have LTE (this can also be done over the phone)
4) use the stock (PTA) apns
5) enjoy LTE and mms
Again...nothing above will cost you money (well...I guess there's gas) you will keep your plan...no hidden fees or extra charges or higher cost for phone bill...EVERYTHING THAT RELATES TO MONEY WILL STAY THE SAME

I have all that done already. Just left the att and they couldn't figure it out

So you don't have lte then...your using hspa+ (which shows as 4g I believe) Its impossible to set up lte by your self...because att has to enable it for your number...you can set up mobile internet on your own but you can't set up lte on your own (unless you hack into att systems and change it your self )
Just call att and tell them to enable lte for you...then use stock apns and enjoy download speeds of over 20mb/s (assuming you have late where you live)

I have LTE and I got everything working. When I got the phone the apn was programmed only to run on the hspa+ to save battery life and so I just went and changed the apn and enabled the LTE again (i do have it where I live I get between 25mb/s to 38mb/s depending on time of day) but when I changed the apn my mms stopped working so I just decided to delete all the apn's on the phone and start over and now everything is working as it should. That also seemed to fix the random restarts cause I haven't had a single restart since I've done that though may just be coincidence

Thanks for the tip. I was having the same issues with MMS not sending. So I deleted all the other APNs and just set up the one for att LTE and it worked great! Thanks again!!! That was bugging the hell out of me.
I just picked up this phone on 1.08 I use straight talk. Still unrooted and stock for now. Is there a way to delete the att APN? I entered all the st into into a new APN. Just no option to select it. Thanks

There's 2 you can't delete, one hard set for AT&T and one I think is autodetected from the carrier. I have an old SIM and I'm using the autodetected APN (att.mvno), if you have the new ST SIM that supports LTE, you need to create a new APN (press menu) and enter the settings from here: http://www.prepaidphonenews.com/2012/09/how-to-setup-straight-talk-data-and-mms.html
I made the APN. Can't select it. I only have 2 apns listed one is att which is greyed out with green dot. And the other is my st APN .

You will need to be rooted, unlocked and s-off (checkout moonshine). Simply setup your new ST APN and select it. Don't worry about deleting the AT&T APN. Then look further on this site to bypass the the ATT lockout for tethering by modifying the telephony database.

I bought a htc one on ebay and I was able to activate the phone no problem and it works but im having a few issues. The biggest issue is that the phone network operator name is HTC and not sprint. So when you are at your lock screen it says htc at the top instead of sprint. Then I noticed that under mobile network settings I don't have roaming control or data guard or any of those settings....they simply are not there. I'm guessing I don't see those options because of the network operator name is htc and not sprint. Ive done a factory reset and no go....did the whole prl and profile updates.
Is this phone unlocked maybe? It has a sprint sim card. Anyone have any clue as to what is going on?
It sounds like it maybe a unlocked HTC One I'm not sure to be honest with you, does it register Sprints LTE network?

Yea it registers on the 4g LTE network. Again the biggest problem is that I have no options for roaming, data guard, international roaming etc

I have a sm-n9005 and I'm trying to use it on at&t. I bought the sim card and literally just got the prepaid plan. my data isn't working though. The at&t guy said my phone is blocking the data. I can make and receive calls. I think he was trying to get me out the store. Can someone help me on getting data working?
Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
Go to the settings menu and select more networks, then mobile networks. Make sure the data box is checked. Then check the apn (access point names) settings and make sure they are the same as your prepaid network.

You will have to call Sprint International Services and tell them you are traveling overseas and if you meet certain requirements they will unlock it. If not you will just have to wait for somebody to find a fix if you want it unlocked.
To the 2 ppl that replied (and anyone out there) did you tried popping an att/tmobile Sim and see if it works? the m7 came unlocked no?
I need to know like right now cuz about to order one thanks! !!

The M7 did not come unlocked. It was the same thing with that phone. You had to call to unlock it, internationally. It was them sim unlocked for all but you had to be rooted.

Anyone knows if the unlocker app ffpr the Sprint htc one m7 will work on the sprint HTC one m8?
Can someone try it please ? I want to buy a htc one m8 and sabré to know if the Sprint version is compatible with the 3g/4g from att? I dont care LTE

The sim unlock app on the play store stopped working after the m7 was updated to 4.4.2. This phone uses the same version of android so I very much doubt it would work.
