Hi
Yesterday flashed via RUU Google Edition ROM 4.4 and updated to 4.4.4.
I'm looking for menu button for example on ViperOne got two taps back button to have menu or on CM two taps Home button to have menu...
On this rom how it is?
Google edition roms do not have a menu button choice when menu is needed you get the three dot menu pop up on the screen.

Hi guys,
I've been using the soak test rom for XT1097 brazilian Moto X since yesterday.
Everything is running ok on the device, but I cannot access the recovery menu.
Does anyone can help me?
Thank you!
Once you get to recovery with no menu "tap the volume up and power button together".
After the first menu, where I select "Recovery", the screen shows me an opened android.
When I had Kit Kat on the device I used to push volume up for 10 seconds and then tap the unlocker button to access the recovery menu.
I've tried many ways and I'm not having any success, even with the advice above.
Took me forever last night to get into recovery menu too. Here is what works for me on lollipop. Hold power for 2-3 seconds and tap volume up.

Man... Thank you so much!!! :good:
In the official Touchwiz Rom, during a call, if you press back button then it won't take you to home screen or anywhere so you don't get extra charges but in AOSP Rom such as running Resurrection Remix Rom 5.2.8 on i9305 or Nameless Rom 5.0.2 . I want to disable the back button during calling? because sometimes I accidentally hit the back button instead of pressing red call end button on Screen in a hurry.
All of a sudden, my menu button is not working. This is with the modified stock rom. I restored my phone to the Candy 5 rom, and the menu button works without a problem. When I went back to stock rom, the menu button again would not work. Any ideas why this may be happening?
How can I add "boot to recovery" etc to my power down/off menu when holding button?
when I hold down the power button to bring up the boot options I would like to see an option to boot into recovery and perhaps other things. Can anyone suggest a way to do this preferably an easy way to do this? Is there a program or guide you can recommend? I am rooted 5.1 lollipop
You have two options here. You can either stay on stock, rooted and get G4 Tweaksbox (can be found here on XDA) or you can run an AOSP based rom like Cyanogenmod or Blisspop, which have it built in.
My home button has stopped working on my TP. I'm currently stuck on the mobot 0.35 screen. volume rockers work to move cursor up and down to select webos or Android but home button to select wont work. Seems I can only wait for the battery to die and then let it reboot naturally since holding the power button and the volume rocker doesn't seem to reboot in Mobot screen.
Going forward I'd like to restore home button functionality. it stopped working some time ago. Should I open up HP TouchPad and see if I can fix the issue with the contacts of the home button? Don't know if thats easy or if I'm capable of. Or is there another way to install a newer Android version for me without a functional home button? thx!

Android should be the default boot option for moboot. You could try using the older install methods with the ACMEInstaller5 here if you're desperate to get android working again. Try using a newer rom below.
Download Android 4.4.4 Kitkat install files(Rom, Recovery, Gapps):
Rom:Download the latest Lineage11 build
Recovery:TWRP-jcs-dm-tenderloin-20140612b.zip
Gapps:gapps-base-arm-4.4.4-20170902-1-signed.zip
Note: Do Not unzip the files.
Repairing the actual button could be tricky but there's an iFixit guide here HP TouchPad disassembly guide on youtube here
