Yes you nedd to replace the old Accuweather Widget and Deamon.
Would it be possible to make this fully or semi-transparent? Some peeps have managed to do it to the s4 and s5widgets so just wondering whether it could be done to the tab s one

yeh unzipped all 3 files, replaced the other accuweather apk files in the root/system/app
but only the old widget come up
and permission had been changed
u have to remove the old widget and create a new one in the home screen

i had to completely remove the previous accuweather with titanium backup to get it work Great!
but is it correct that it is 5x3?
dont remember.. i dont use it anymore .. but i guess it was and it was non resizable,, so i dont use it
here is touchwiz 5.0 launcher from s3..
instructions:
for launcher only use launcher zip file. put the 2 apk's system/app and lib file to system/lib directories with rw-r-r permissions. then reboot.
for accuweather widget download 3 apk's and the zip file in the attachment. put apk's to system/app. open zip and put the files to system/etc/permissions and system/framework. set all permissions rw-r-r and then reboot.
update:
- homescreen 4*4 (before 4*5)
- accuweather widget is now 4*2 (before 4*3)
- folder preview better now
- accuweather background pictures scaled
- accuweather city details scaled (before min.temp and buttons were under screen)
- re-added dock icon labels

u don't need s3 launcher to be installed. it works with apex and nova, too. just copy accuweather_widget_files.zip of s3 launcher.and then install the link as a normal apk.
and of course u can use both 4*2 and 4*1 together with s3 launcher.

accuweather main apk may fc when u search for city it is a known situation. but finds your current location well. and in city details it needs to be resized some buttons and weather min.degree is under screen. if u use paranoid set weather main dpi to 105..

Lol of course it will never! You need the API level of JB for this. And there is no JB for Mini Plus yet...

at first...when you add the widget just let it finds your current location (don't tap anything)..when it already got your location, then you can add other location by edit and search on the widget...it works for me...

I have the jelly bean 4.1.2 and i fla**** this widget with CWM and after i reboot the phone i donn't have the weather widget i tryed the another method with root file explorer i find the Sysstem/app folder but i cann not delet the 2 odex files and i cann not renamme\it i cann not move'it i cann not put in this folder nothing so what's the problem.

Update the Super User app first, reboot phone and then try again.

While this doesn't works with every rom (e.g. Jellybam), I'm running the latest version of Slimrom (4.2.2 build 5.5 Weekly on S3 I747), and it works well. I've always liked the S3/S4 weather widgets, and the ones here with varying degrees of transparency that are useful without completely blocking the wallpaper. Great job.
One issue is that with a 4.1.2 rom like Hyperdrive, it apparently conflicts with the Contacts app, making it impossible to use the contacts or phone app. Bummer.

If you copied over it with this one then you will have to look for one on here somewhere,remember to back up the files it copies over first before installing widget.

you can get all stock s4 apks in this thread.just install the keyboard apk and see if it works! if it does work and if you want to replace your stock keyboard with s4 keyboard then push it to /system/app (do a backup just in case anything goes wrong)

The link you're referring to is for HDPI screens, if the problem is that it is small maybe you should try the XHDPI version [if you haven't tried it already]

Yeah I've tried that already. shows this tiny screen. In the meantime I'll just use the theme, but it doesn't have the weather widget.
