Hi guys.
I was trying to flash stocked rom v30a on my phone because after i did a factory reset i got a error message with something about phone.com is corrupt and nothing i did worked.
So anyway i was going to flash in smartflash tool, and it looked that it would work, then i got a error message that i didn't have any axp installed in my system, tired as i was i removed the cable from my phone, the smartflash tool had stopped anyway.
I installed the apx files and tryed to get into S/W mode, but there it stopped.
I can not get in to S/W mode, i can't turn my phone on and when i try to charge it nothing happens not even the logo comes on, BUT when i try to get in the S/W mode i hear on my computer that it is connecting but nothing else than that.
So if someone have any idea on how to solve this problem please help me!

I saw now that when i connect my phone to the computer without the battery an APX icon appers in Units and printers, but nothing else happens...
Please someone, pretty please help me...
Have u tried AIO tools...it worked for me to flash The kdz file using that tool...

I installed a new rom, and after that my phone does not work .. the start as usual, but never to unlock screen. If you start Samsung Kies you see after a long time that the phone is connected. but you can't do anything else.
if you start odin3 v1.3 we see that there is something, it stands in ID: COM (0: [COM5]) but when you try to do something, nothing happens or it says that it does not work ..
I installed 2.2 in Kies it did do so that I can not use 3-BTN trick.
Is there anyone who solved this? some tricks PLEASE HELP ME!
why did you flash without 3btn working? do you have a bootloop just again and again the samsung logo?
have u tried every 3btn trick (battery out press btns battery in hold btns) if nothing of that is working a jig cable will help i think

My phone is in black screen with 4 button blinking. Can't get into Software Update mode. what should I do?
I try to reflash using smarttool but failed the problem remain after i flashed the rom.

If you cant get into SW Update mode, your chances to unbrick, are rather small... Did you try to unbrick it with and without battery? If not, give it a shot. ADB probably wont help, since your kernel doesnt seem to be loaded successfully... Which software did you use before the brick and which one and how did you try to flash it?
Yeah i tried with and without the battery and there are no thing change after the flash process. As i remembered that I installed one of Chinese dictionary and the problem orrcured. I don't know how to do now.
I try LG updater but also failed because i'm using cocked Rom.
Please help me.
And your sure, you held Vol+ while plugging in the USB cable? Just to make sure, it isnt just such a small user error...
yeah i did all the right things, this is the first time i get this error for this phone, each time i entered software update mode the screen hasn't show anything just a white death screen.

I got this problem, when i was flashing my SGS back to stock and it lost the connection with the PC for about a half a second and that screwed everything up.
I now have a SGS which has "Black screen of death" when I try to turn it on or start in recovery mode, but the Download mode works but my PC only showes a "USB Not recognized" message and it dosent show up in ODIN.
Had no trouble with this before the flashing went wrong, so I think the drivers are ok but I have installed new ones, and reinstalling kies many times but it dosent help.
Any of you guys who can help?
Searched google and this forum for it, and tried different things but none of the guide / hints I found worked.
Kind of really need my phone so I would really appriciate it if some of you could help me!
Try uninstalling the drivers un installing kies and i you for any reason have i tunes of have ever plugged a i phone into the computer than uninstall both the drivers for the i garbage and the i garbage program. Then put thevphone into dl mode andvplug it in and it will automaticly install new drivers and connect

I'm helping out a friend, which O2X I have rooted and flashed WIUI on to (I previously owned one myself too)
For some reason the phone started to get hot after a while and used up the battery fast, until one day where he couldn't even turn it on again.
Now, he has been trying to fix it himself with NVflash, but no luck, so now its up to me and you guys.
I have used the smartflash tool and flashed the EURO OPEN stock ROM and everything went succesfull, but when the phone reboots, the LG logo appears, and it bootloops.
I tried both with battery and no battery in, but still no cigar.
Any suggestions what I should try next?
PS: If I try to turn on the phone normally, nothing happens. not even a blink from the screen, but I can get into S/W mode and APX

EDIT: The software says the update is not compatible (dunno if translation is correct, but you get the point)
Update is aborted :/

Tried:
NVflash
Smartflash (Flashed EURO OPEN rom)
LG Update tool (recover function)
The phone still won't boot.
Smartflash is the only solution like you said that the phone can boot in s/w mode try to dig some answer in smartflash thread or search in google i know you can find some answer there

Assuming you have carried out the procedures correctly, looks like this device is actually defective. Probably not what you want to hear, I know, but...
Before giving up completely, you can NVFlash it again (using the original 10C NVFlash from Modaco) and post the log here. Wouldn't get my hopes up though.

I've LG Optimus 2x and this morning I wanted to install stock rom again on my phone because I had CM. I used smart flash tool (I used it before so I know how to work with him) and everything was OK untill some error poped out. After that I couldn't start my phone, even can't charge it. Screen is black and nothing happens with it. I tried other battery but, same thing. I know that my phone is somehow OK because i can turn it only with flashtool ''progmaq''. I open flash.bat file and that program turns my phone on to S/W upgrade mode but my computer still it does not recognize.
What can I do to start my phone again? I can't use smartflash tool or LG update tool because my computer doesn't recognize my phone. Please help!!!

Problem solved. I used all in one tool kit and in main menu pressed button 4, followed instruction and I could again access recovery mode, so I installed again rom and now it works.
