Arabic fonts on cm7

Can anyone please tell me how could i get arabic languges on cm7 rc1 by mebitek??

hey its supported natively just go to setting->language & keyboard -> android keyboard -> language to type and there tick the language you needs if you choose 2 or more to switch btw language just drop the space button in keyboard and you ll get the other lang
does your wifi work on that rom cus me its not ??

i can't read indian languages in default browser..
i use squadzone 7.2 rc5.7..

Yes wifi is working but i am saying that i can't read indial languages on any browser.... Please tell me how can i read indian languages on browser

my font problem is solved...
mr. squad solve my problem.
just install new rom by squadzone..
it contain hindi,punjabi all indian fonts

How to install???
1) Download the rom & ClockWorkMod Recovery. Place it on the sd card.
2) Boot in Recovery. (HOME+VOLUME UP+POWER).
3) apply update from sdcard & choose ClockWorkRec5830i.zip
4) Wipe data/reset, Wipe cache partition. Then go to advanced & wipe Dalvik cache & battery stat....
5) Then choose zip from sdcard & Flash.
6) reboot & u r done.

no i only modded lidroid-res
i.e. 6 locksreens......
but u can use androidscream rom as base because he enables it in his rom............
modify his work and u can release your fix..........
may be it will help u............

Noo i need to correct my smali accordng to his smali code in lockscreenkeyguardview
Since i already have built all other apps and frameworks
All woring fine

it supports alot of languages that are Hebrew,Thai,Georgian,Armenian,Arabic,and many more................

I want to know that is there any cm7 rom which support indian language like hindi, i have try some but for hindi text i get square square only, so for this i have to use only stock base rom,

You can pm kranti.ace... He might include in his next release of the revolution xperiatized rom...

Search for indian fonts here.. And flash it with CWM..

Get flashable zip of hindi and flash using CWM 3.x.x or above (2.x.x had too many bugs.) if its available; if it isn't then ask the developer of your ROM to include it in the next release.

Any reson for using old XXSLB, just try the newer versions which are official indeed and not beta versions.

this is 15-03-2013 rom

You can make a backup in Philz recovery and after install and try eybee's mods. If they do not work, you can restore the cwm backup.
I'm using XXLSZ kernel in the JPLSB Roms. Apart from the languages there is no sign or proove of any difference between the latest official releases.
Try and tell us.

Be careful in using mods that are not meant for your version of firmware. I tried the 4 way reboot on LSF and I got stuck on samasung logo the moment I rebooted. I had to reflash the whole LSB. Good that I backup apps via tiatanium.

all the mods in that thread are working , but they switch the settings screen into English language although the phone default language is Arabic!!!!

All these apk have arabic ressource files in the original JPLSB, if using modded apk from XXLSZ they do not have them (of course).
Two possibilities: some members start modding the original apks with the necessary steps
or
someone adds languages to the modded apks - I will try this now for one or two mods - want to know if this results in something usable.

Iam using your UAE Dedeoxed rom , if you can modify those mods and I can test them with you
There is a rom built on XXLSB and included some of the mods and did not loose the Arabic in settings screen!!!
so if you integrate those mods in the rom will keep the Arabic intact?

If there is a custom rom with mods that already have language support then you should try it. Maybe zai89 modified the originals and that's the best approach.

zai89 made a Custom Rom for the new languages and so you'll should concentrate on that thread, because he will try to provide mods with Arabic soon.

ya, iam following with both till to figure out how to do it and learning something new also
