I'm having a problem with the USB/BT Joystick app. I cant get the touch input to work. It recognizes my controller and let me edit the buttons to the on screen buttons, but I still cant control anything. It works on my Wife moto g. Im thinking it has to do with the touchless control or active display. Any help.

Hi there,
I have a problem with my headset. I can only end a call with it. I am not able to answer the call nor play/pause function.
running *#*#6484#*#* the phone failed to correctly recognize pressing of the buttons with my headset. I correctly play music after pressing it once, but there is no way to pause the music, playing the music works only in this test menu, outside of that there is no action after pressing the button.
I am using Galaxy S with default one-button headset provided by Samsung.
All apps to control headset like droid headset cant recognize that my headset is connected.
Can it be fixed some how?

bump, same issue, also described in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16802117#post16802117
Hey,
my Moto X doesn't seem to be responding to my headset button (Bluetooth, as well as the wired). On all my smartphones before one press on the button started music playback. My Moto isn't doing anything. When I start the music app manually the button starts working (play, pause, next song,...).
Maybe there's an app on my phone that's causing the issue. Could you please check if your Moto behaves correctly?
thanks
Patrick
Mines doing the same thing and I'm on the latest lollipop.
Edit: that's with the moto boom connected.
Could someone help me out with the moto x 1st gen. With all my other phones I have had in the past I used llama or automateit. Seems like when I try to control the sound/ringers. I have tried some automation tools and it might work for a little bit but seems to always go back to loud volume even though the app is showing the volume on low that got activated my either the cell tower or the wifi connection. Is this an option that is not possible on moto x? I really like the ease of the phone setting volumes by itself without having to do it on a daily basis.
Moto assist already has a quiet/sleeping mode that turns your phone on silent at night. Could be that this is interfering with what you have set up.
Sorry if I posted in the wrong area, I don't see a Q&A section for AA.
I purchased a Satechi bluetooth "Home" button on amazon, and I downloaded a bluetooth mapping app, so when Im just holding my phone normally, i can tap this bluetooth button twice, and it would activate "Ok Google" for me. I want to be able to do this while the phone is plugged into my headunit and AA is running. but when AA is running and I double tap the button, nothing happens. Anyone have any ideas on how to make this work? I'd rather have a small bluetooth button easily accessible, then taking my eyes off the road to look to tap the small microphone on the headunit screen to activate Google Now.
Thanks!
Did anyone find a solution to this issue? I'm looking for the same thing.
Hey guys, I have already rebind my steering wheel buttons with the Hal9k rom and I'm using the voice command button for Google Assistant and the phone button for Mute, work great but every time I used that buttons the dash display still try to use the original command, there is any way to disable that? It is quite annoying every time I use those buttons after having to return to the screen in the display of the speed that is always the use., the car is a VW Jetta 2014.
Thanks!
