I don't think it has hardware difference..!
Anyway will try to get india diamond version as soon as well for play with it
If hardware same,we can enable it with someway
It's releasing during the second week of June in India via AirTel.
Its already released in India.

In Bangalore -dealers are telling 15 days -1 month.Airtel call center does not have a clue about what HTC diamond is.....

38k. wtf! i dont think so!!!!! i think someone is playing the price there. dont buy until u have some other confirmation. btw ur right abt the last part. keke. i went to global access arnd commercial street and also national market near majestic, and guess what.....these guys dont even know what htc touch diamond is....i was like.....kekekeke...cos global access is listed as an official retailer for htc in india

On the HTC India site, it says that "The HTC Touch™ (sic) will be available through Airtel in top 25 cities across the country at a maximum retail price of Rs. 27,500.00 (inclusive of all taxes) and all authorized HTC resellers.

I tried calling some of these authorized retailers in Mumbai and none of them had a clue when it was going to be released nor could they even confirm the 27,500 price. Didn't bother calling up Airtel customer care as I'm sure they would be even more clueless.
A salesman at Alfa, probably Mumbai's most popular mobile phone retailer, expected the handset to retail at 40k. Indiaplaza.in is also listing it at a list price of Rs. 40995. Although I wonder if they really have it in stock.

wooooohoooooooo. something i can happily afford. those retailers are trying to get the advantage of the initial release. but d*** them i wont pay an extra cent more. keke. and probably after 2-3 weeks the price will get arnd to 28k most probably. 40k??? wtf!
btw been to garuda mall @ bangalore today and Global Access here is an authorised retailer of HTC products. and damn!!! they had no clue. muahahahahaha! abt whats diamond???!!!!

no dude, i tried commercial also @ global access. same no info. and abt a week ago i tried national market. dudes there didnt know even. keke. same thing happened while touch was released. keke. u live near where dudes?!
I am in Bangalore . Talked with all the folks you did and national market. Only national market guy told 1 month. All others dont have a clue including Sangeetha. Tried RT Outsouricing also who are the local distributors for HTC , they told they will get back to me. This was on last Firday- no news since.Let me know if you can find out anything better-

Only thing to check is what bands your network provider uses, and verify that the Xperia Z model you buy supports this, the reason I am saying this is that there are many people who are complaining about this.

Yep , I am on Go mobile network and that is no problem. The phone must be Unlocked and Unbranded of course. I think Amazon will be my choice since I encountered no one stating to have bought from Clove.co.uk....
