I am unable to bind my SIM card on Mi 3. Whenever I try to send a text message, I get a notification saying "SIM card hasn't been bound." When I click on the notification, it tells me that an activation message will be sent to activate the SIM card. When I click on OK, it tries to send the activation message for about 15-20 minutes and then fails.
When I go to my Mi Cloud account, it shows that everything is synced except Call Logs and Messages. It is also unable to Find my Device. I cannot apply themes to my phone too. I think all these problems are because my SIM card is not bound. Please help on this matter. I can provide any kind of screenshots if required.
Thanks in advance.
Same problem here. Anyone knows a solution?
Thanks in advance.

Well, here's the story:
Every time I get a text message from my voicemail (and only from voicemail) it is stored on sim card, not in the phone memory. When I delete it, the sms disappears (which is pretty normal) but then mysteriously reappears after a soft-reset (which isn't normal). When I use my sim card in a different phone I can delete the message for good (it doesn't show up again in my TD2). You know, asking friends to lend me their phone 'cause I need to delete an sms is a bit weird.
So, the question is: is there any way to delete the sms from sim card PERMANENTLY without removing the sim card from my phone?
I had exact same problem with my TD2.
Raised it with Orange UK support, they could not fix it so eventually sent me a new sim which fixed the problem.
Thanks for advice. I'll try to convince Telfort to change my sim then, free of charge Hope it works.
After using 3G, i am getting a sim card full message even tough the sim card has no contacts or messages on it... Now I'm not receiving smss.. anyone can tell me how to reset it? I've tried removing battery but still same message....
Have you checked that there are no contacts / messages on it? Also default save to path for contacts and messages?

I'm experiencing the exact same situation. Already got a new sim card from the operator, and nothing changed.
Tried reflashing a different rom and it seemed to hold for a few days, but it started happening again.
Have you found a way to fix this?
Thanks.
Has anyone claimed their HTC one on warrenty what's the process like. Has anyone faced this problem where you get this Sim card error unread and then when I restart my phone it starts working again
Hi.
I have recently gotten a tmo galaxy note 4.
For some reason, I started getting
'sim card full - please delete messages on sim card storage '. Every 30 minutes.
But when I checked, there were no messages or contacts for me to delete.
I searched on Google but it seems like only solution puerile aww giving is just to delete messages.
Does anybody know a fix for this issue? Or any experience? Thanks.

I started having the same issue today. My SIM is new with no contacts or messages stored on it.
Same here
I'm having the same issue. New note 4, new Sim card with only 1 message on it referencing OTA ok. Had anyone found a fix to this annoying message?

I had the same issue... Download an app which can clean any messages from your sim card. If there are no messages to clean, turn off your phone and take out the sim card. Wipe gently and put the sim card back ensuring that it is seated properly. Even a small change in seating the sim card can give you that message , especially if you dropped the phone recently

Same exact problem here.. I'm glad I'm not the only one getting annoyed with the Flippin SIM message. My issues didn't start until I received a new sim card, which was just replaced YESTERDAY! I was received "Network or SIM card error" and then my calls were being fwd to lala land. I'm really getting pissed at this stupid phone..... I want my N:crying:3 back!!!
after receiving a security update via OTA on this morning, my Nexus 6 can't send any message due to the error "Can't send message with CARD 1, error 50".
One more problem: the cellcular data is not working. That means the phone can not use internet via cellcular network.
:crying::crying:
hello???? no body got this problem???
Hello... Did you ever consider to google your problem? A quick search learned me that in 9 of 10 cases this is caused by either a defective sim card or a (payment) issue with the provider.
