I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you stop now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
PS: If it helps, the password is a random 24 character upper and lower with punctuation in it.
*** Is there anyway for XDA to block access to the page for this IP? I have been getting these emails all day!
Very crude brute force attempt? By now he's not even to aardvark.
haha

Hahahaha there's got to be a server registered there or something. I'm not even remotely shtting you. I've seen script kiddy attacks come that address for a couple years now. About a year ago, comodo kept telling me I had a user at (don't remember IP, I've had a beer since then) that same address. I've also looked up other haxor attempts on others and it came there. Always very crude attacks.
theres too many overly confident 15 yrs old on a redbull psychosis in this world
No need for this. I'll PM the OP

And then i search the same words in google, and now see the red circles... HTTPS and Verisign accepted....
What do y'all say about this?
Be care!!!
Maybe is a trick maybe isnt but we need to be safe about that.
The URLs were different too. You have to be careful about that, always put the URL into the browser by hand instead of links when doing money transactions
yeah i think so
i always do that check thats why i see this so xtrange
Oh yeah it is the Https is paypal.com/mx/
and the fake is paypal.com.mx/mx/
mutta fu%&ยท!!!!
jejeje
be care dudes!!!
Best thing to do is to report fake paypal sites to paypal.
They have a good mechanism to take those sites down.
(the same goes with fake banks, report them to the bank, or to AA419/bank-killers, yhe latter also has good ways to kill fake banks).
Regards,
EqX
YEAH!!
I already did it!
good to know these sites are getting shut down, the https part on the address is quite important as adding that s makes it a secure site or something i did know just cant remember
I am trying to get hold of different names for people within this great Android Community.
So I am wondering how you call yourself.
Here is something that came in my mind when i tried to make groups to put people in.
Theoretically its made to understand what people want, what they do and why they do it.
Group: Consumer, Fanboy, Fan, Modder, Developper, Blogger, Hacker, Cracker, Trader, Dealer, Moderator, Administrator, Programmer, Technician
Motivation: Fun, need telephone, organizing life/job, i love/beeing interested in programming, modding, and so on, beeing part of a great community
So, where do you place yourself and why are you here?
Thanks for replying !
Droid Boy
PS Oh btw i am here because i love to share experience with devices, technical objects of all sort, also try to understand whats going on in our community
Hmmm...Let's see...
I would put myself in the Modder group, and motivation is that I find it fun/interesting and I'm interested in programming.
Plus, the community is great
I don't really ever "call myself" but if I did I think I would say "Hello?"

I suppose you can group me under joker, wacky, etc.

Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App

I like to think of myself as a life hacker. Cause it's fun. Want to use everything I own to it's full potential.

Looking for guidance... =)
I am a fifth year HS Math teacher. Undergraduate in Math- Planning on going for a Masters in Information Technology this Fall. But the thing is, I told my advisor, I really want to be exposed to many topics in the IT dept and figure out what I want to do. But then there is a part of me that really wants to go into Comp Sci and program. I'm reading through some Java tutorials now and am just very interested.
Teaching is great and I have had some of the best times and rewards teaching, but I can't imagine doing it for thirty years- graphing lines for thirty years, managing 35 people for thirty years, watching people with eyes in the back of my head for thirty years.
I want to work with adults, and I think IT can allow that. But I am curious about this programming aspect as well.
What would Xda's community recommend I do? I obviously have the mathematical mind to program and understand this stuff. I just need some direction from people who have been through similar situations and been down these paths.
Like I said, I'm currently enrolled to begin in August in an Information Systems masters program. I do have to take a .NET programming course as a pre-req. I'm also in System Analysis and Database Systems this coming semester.
Wow, thanks beforehand. It feels good to talk about this ^_^
We need to sticky a "what class should I take" thread. Get these all the time, need to roll it all up in one place.
This may help you with affirmation!

SWEEEEEET VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After he had saw my sign three times--- the first one I got a thumbs up.... this was the last hole..... now or never....the people around me were totally encouraging me.....as he was walking down the fair way I started yelling for him, he saw my sign and began to walk toward me, I ducked the ropes and went for it. security stopped me and said I couldn't pass the ropes, which was when i whispered "but...hes coming.....hes coming for me.....he's going to let me take a picture." and BOOM!
there was my 14 years of dedication, wishes, dreams, making his birthday cake every year (yes) sleeping on sidewalks for front row seats, paying 293542958 dollars to stay in the same hotel....calling radio stations for hours to win tickets....attending every concert with in driving distance.....this was it. this was the moment!

I admit, Android phones could be great if they were refined, settings organized, touchscreen offset and calibrated, and applications made for it weren't lazy copies from iPhone riddled with malware, but unfortunately that isn't the case, also multiple restrictions, no control over application permissions and self-changing options are the most annoying part of Android.
Good luck removing that malware that cant be removed, installing antiviruses that don't do a thing, setting the screen time-out to "Never" or taking emergency school work pictures when your Android is at 10% battery, or asking for support on forums wasting hours of your life.
Me I'm done, parents and grandparents all been switched to iPhones, all problems suddenly disappeared, nobody is bothering me to fix their phone anymore :good:
All phones are encrypted and protected with 20 character passwords, yet unlocked in split second. (Granted, you can have that too, if you choose to encrypt aka marry SD card to your phone forever, but 99% of you wont take that chance, so setting any passwords is a pointless exercise.)
I'll hang around to answer some questions if anyone has gotten any.
lol...I'd like to post a "coolstorybro.jpg" meme but that would be rather rude for my part...instead I will close this thread and go back to watching my stories on TV....
