I have read that on other phones the otterbox commuter fits perfectly in the seidio active holster, can anyone please confirm this for the htc vivid? I bought a commuter case and am now looking for a holster to fit it.
Gave this a shot. Have a trident case on note ii and trident doesnt make a holster but the seidio active holster fits it perfectly. Hope this helps some others who love the trident cases as much as i do.

I've looked through all the case threads. There are several I like - definitely looking towards the slim side. One question I have is that I use a holster at work while I'm wearing scrubs - it's really the only thing that keeps it secure like I want it to be. Don't trust it in a pocket, even with a case. Would any of the popular thin-ish cases (Incipio Dual Pro, Ringke slim, Spigen thin, unicorn beetle) fit with a holster? The few holster/case combos I've found I don't like the cases. Thanks
The best you are likely to get is a pouch for extra big phones with a belt clip/loops and then put your phone and whatever case you are using.
Every holster made for a case, is made to connect to that specific case and/or its dimensions.
Get the holster made for the Seidio Dilex Pro, it fits every case I have. My Spigen Slim Armor, Spigen Neo Hybrid, Poetic Affinity, and my Artech21 slim case
I'm also looking for or a case with holster, but need one where the phone can fit with the screen facing out. Other than Otterbox, which ones allow this?

Haha that's exactly what I do. I love the seidio holster and I have 3 different cases that fit it perfectly. Slim armour, poetic affinity too.

Yes it will fit, Spigen's Neo Hybrid case fits great and measures 3.1"W x 6.6"L x 0.4"H
Spigen's Hybrid Armor Case measures 3.1'W x 6.6"L x 0.5"H
The Rinke Wave case is the same thickness at 0.5" and fits perfect
I'm looking for a belt clip that will hold the note 8 in a UAG plasma Case. Not a leather holster pouch but something like the OtterBox or the Encase Case has. Was acctually wondering if one of the Encase clips might be able to fit a UAG. Anyone have a solution or Alternative Case clip that fits?
Incase anyone wants to know the Platinum Case sold by Bestbuy comes with a Vertical Clip that fits the UAG Plasma PERFECTLY. It will work Screen in or Screen out with no play at all.
Sidenote:
the UAG Plasma Case is known for pushing on Glass Screen Protectors. I used a Dremel with a Cone sanding attachment to take down the rubber on the Front Corners. It's the cleanest way I've seen it done. It doesn't look like it was modified at all.
Now I have my UAG case that plays nice with my ZAGG Cured Elite and a Clip. Loving it. Putting the OtterBox Defender Pro away for a while.
