my MI3 facing random reboot after flash to CM11
how to solve this?
using CWM recovery r7 cancro
There is no way to solve it. The problem is in the ROM, all Roms based on cm11 have random reboots.

Its a bug related with deepsleep.
Heres the fix:
Quoting varun.chitre15.
"For those who are willing to sacrifice some battery life can try a small trick to workaround the rebooting issues. Fire up terminal emulator app–>Options–>Take wakelock."
This will restrict the phone to sleep, not being able to acces deepsleep.
Hi eded333
I have tried "Take wakelock" option. But CM11 is still rebooting randomly. My phone is lenovo s820. Any solution?

Disable Automatic brightness and adjust screen brightness manually to your liking. Should make things better.

It's some sort of manual for MI3. You don't need that, I actually uninstalled it.

but the problem is I can't do that as I don't own the device I'm porting MIUI to and the person testing it doesn't know how to take a logcat.

No one can ever fix anything without actually looking at the logcat. Ask your tester to learn and generate a logcat...and post it up here for debugging.

The user did the logcat and the error is
W/DirectVolume( 1278): Invalid 'PARTN' value
It's obviously a problem with reading one of the partitions but can you help me solve it?

Exactly, and I don't know why he thinks we all want the unreliable CM13 when CM12 is fully functional and looks great. Many also want something that just work!
