Since I cant post in dev forums yet, I will ask here:
I've just installed virginity v14 rom and noticed that the dots on the lockscreen arent located in center of the "bigger circles" (dont really know how to name it) - how can I fix it?

I recently upgraded from an SGH i600 to a HTC Kaiser/TyTnII (whatever you want to call it).
I loaded on a custom ROM (Solace 3.1), then loaded on Throttle Launcher. After loading on Throttle Launcher, I put a theme (the Pipboy 3000 one that I found on this forum) in the "setup" folder. Throttle Launcher found it , then loaded it, but the theme doesn't really seem to work very well.
The wallpaper doesn't load, the control bar at the bottom is off the page, and turning it to sideways view removes all the icons and replaces with text.
I do not know what I am doing wrong, I have Google'd and searched this forum alot , but I can't seem to find anyway to fix this.
If anyone could shed some light on what I am doing wrong, I would be very happy, I would like to get this theme working.
If not , then I will just go for another theme (unless I have the same problem with that, in which case I will just use the default theme).
Sorry if this is a nooby question, or something thats been answered a million times before, but I just can't find any info on what I am doing wrong.
Back at the time when I was running CM 6.1 on the pattern unlock screen it had the option of hiding the dots that make up the pattern. (so all there was was the time and the message saying draw pattern to unlock). The text could be changed too, it looked nice and added a bit of security as it would be obvious to most people that you had to draw the pattern.
Basically my question is can this be added to normal roms and if so where can I find it.?
Thanks in advance
Your post title seems different & the question in your post is different...
What do you want to ask exactly?
Pattern Lock is available in all stock roms and you can hide the visible pattern without any tweaking.
On CM6 there was an option to hide the dots. and customise the message
So the unlock screen from the clock downwards was just clear.
I know you can hide the pattern.
I want what is being requested here but wanted to know if it will work with other roms besides CM...
So the lock screen looks like this (but with the wallpaper behind rather just black) http://i.imgur.com/PB4bN.jpg
Hmmm, I don't think there is any tweak like that (you're asking) for stock roms.
May b some Mod could help you...
Never mind found the images and swapped them in my framework...
For anyone else thats looking for this there is metamorph theme for it here... http://www.mediafire.com/file/49948a4mvigvbkq/InvisibleLockscreen_MM.zip
I didn't feel like using meta morph
And just to confirm it works like a charm...
Next step to change the text
Since that I can't post on the develop thread I'll ask in here.
I'm just got done with the install of Ace-i-Sure, and now that I'm done, I've got this annoying little red/blue bar at the top of the screen (as seen on the attachment), and if the icons get on it they will "stack" on top of eachother.
Anyone know what this is and have a solution?
Thanks, S28.
Can you provide the link to this rom ? I can try to look over for you ..

Hy!
I have the same "problem". RAM Booster shows that icon.
Has this rom got status bar tweaks in settings? If so you remove it from there

ram booster open setting - overlay widget settings - uncheck show overlay widget
if you want to move the icon to another position: ram booster open setting - overlay widget settings - select the size, position, transparency, move the slider to the desired
Hey guys, i didnt find any global customization thread so ill post it here, it will probably be moved but, what the heck <
Some time ago at the "start" of uccw customs on our phones, there was a theme really gentle, white and very very minimalistic (1 screen theme). I cant find it anywhere. It was soft beveled big white "button" with battery circle inside it (i think it was light blue). It had 2 or 3 soft buttons too around that centered big button. If anyone is familiar with it and did see it ages ago somewhere (i believe there was very little themes then on forum) i would appriciate a link or image. Been searching it for some time but no luck. It's kinda similar like this1 on link belov, but much more minimalistic and middle button was alot beveled (read "higher").

Thx in advance and cheers to u all )
Hello everyone. First hope I'm posting this in the right place.
Today while moving some icons around on my homescreen (stock lg optimus l90 not rooted) I found a neat little trick and didn't see anything about it anywhere so figured I'd post it here. If it has already been mentioned or talked about please delete. If not hope it helps someone or at least someone likes it.
If you press and hold an icon on the home screen that you'd like to change till app info and delete pop up at the top of the screen don't move it just release the icon, a little blue bubble will appear on the right of the icon. Press the icon again and it will take you to a different screen where you'll have the option of changing the icon to some predetermined icons already there or as a picture of your choice. It will also give you the option to resize the icon.
If you liked this little built in tweak or have used it let us know your results.
