Want to buy a new phone

Hi i want to buy a new phone but i dont know wich one.
Galaxy S 2 or Galaxy Nexus ???

I was looking at both those as well, and deceided that the better one was the SII. It has better cameras, not restricted to 16gb storage and ok, yeah people will say the nexus is better cos it has ICS on it...well, in my opinion I dont rate ICS that high, I mean c'mon, its all blue and bland!!

i think thats a good choice and bout ics it will come out on the SII eventually

go for galaxy SII..it's a good phone.

I would also choose the SII

S2, u will get ics soon so why not have a taste of gingerbread till then.

I went for the GN, it's a little better then the SII and the screen with the higher resolution looks sweet to say the least.
Second reason for me was that I'm fed up with waiting for official ROM upgrades and I really hate all the bloatware the manufacturers put on their handsets. Give people the chance to choose for themselves what apps they want/need.
16Gb memory isn't a problem for me, I had the i9000 with 16Gb extra memory card and never used it.

S1 vs Optimus 2x vs S Plus

Which one should I go with ?? Optimus 2x is dual core and tegra 2, but Galaxy S has super amoled display and better battery life (they both have 1500 but dual core use more power).

I know booth Phones and I have to say the S Plus is better one for me. The optimus 2x have a little bit more Ram so it might be better to play with but the S plus is much better in all the other things it also isn't that easy to brick and if u manage to brick it its easy to ressurect it

But Galaxy S is better than plus .... It has SGX540 which is better than adreno 205 .. Am i not right ?

I thought dual core is better than single core .....

It is but a friend of mine got the optimus x2 he says its not good he's switching to Samsung too

I've used both the Optimus 2x and the Galaxy S. Personally I find the Samsung more satisfying to use. Two main reasons being Super AMOLED and rom support.

[Q] Multitouch issue

Hi everyone! This topic already is on the forum, but it had no solution and it was in the wrong section, so I'll post the problem here.
I have a Galaxy mini with Cyanogenmod 7.2 and when i touch the screen with two fingers, it only detects the first finger that i touched, and i have to slightly move the second one to recognize both. It's very awkward, mostly when I play games. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Hm i had that too, if i remember right... but i thought iw was an app bug of hillclimb, sorry no idea how to solve that :/

Try zoom and unzooming images / web pages, if zooming / unzooming work that means something odd is happening.

It will work, he said multitouch is working, but only if u move ur second finger slightly

Multitouch works, but if I tap the screen with 2 fingers at the same time it doesnt work. It only detects them after I moved them.

That's manufacturer issue. I have this issue when i firstly bought my Mini. So you're not alone

Yes, but when I bought my mini about 2 years ago it was working fine.

Yeah, the same goes for me. IDK, i never solved this issue, i just "jumped" the issue. I'm not a gamer so i don't really care if my Mini's multitouch won't work correctly.

Will I have warranty if I got my Z1 from ebay?

I know we have 1 year but would I have the warranty or the original person who purchased it?

Probably not

Of course, it is not matter where your phone is from. Your imei is registered that also means that Sony know the date of the when your phone was produced

Be careful, warranty's can be voided for second hand products. I know this is the case in the UK with other products, it is not automatically carried over to the new user. If you buy it from ebay its second hand. I suggest you get a definitive answer from Sony

Ok I just read through the warranty information for you (assuming that you are in the UK or Europe).
I would still contact them to make sure, but the warranty is only valid if the phone was supplied by an authorised Sony dealer.
So even though you are able to sell the device, originally it should have come from an authorised dealer in your country.
If it's a grey product and it's from say Singapore you are gonna have a hard time getting your phone to a service centre in Singapore while you live in say Europe...

Red Magic 3s online banking

Hey I want to buy the new red Magic 3s but I'm not sure if I can use online banking app. I use the vr-secure-go app in Germany and if there is any security issue in this phone the app won't work.

Hi, I'm a rm 3s owner. I was able to log into my banking apps. Ig you won't have any issues as well
