[Q] plz help me :(

Hi guys ime need of your help badly..plz guys somehow find me some solution for ma probem..
lemme brief maself.. I am NAVIN from INDIA. I bought our AT&T Captivate i897 just before 2months through a dealer in ebay with phone unlocked..well i started off with stock GB and as time passed on i went to cm9 official and then to remics-jb v2.0,everything was fine untill ma friend found a problem which i dint notice for long time since i bought my phone.
PROLEM is, say if screen on time is 2hrs then phone.apk is awake for 2hrs respectively,,i really dono why the hell this is happening..i had never such a strange thing in any android phone..so i went back to stock GB but even there its same..i dono whats wrong with ma phone.pl pl help me guys. ma battery doesnt even stay for 6hrs a day..ime fed up of this. solve this strange problem of mine,..is this problem coz of unlocking errors by dealer. ma friend has same cappy everything same including current rom , we checked out in his phone PHONE.APK doesnt show in battery stats where as mine u know if screen on time is 2 hrs then PHONE.APK will be 2hrs.

But First powerdown, pull out Battery, SIM CARD, and EXT.SD card, press power button for a minute, than powerup without SIM and Ext.SD Card....Do remember to backup your contacts, data, images etc and also your EFS folder before flashing a ROM and make sure you have more than 50% battery charge before you attempt any sort of flashing.
Solution:- clear cache, data and dalvik cache and also do a factory reset

Ya did that too..nthn is turning out good.pl help me..ime sufferin like hell..havin phone like dis and suffering coz of dis strange problems makes me feel worse..my friend he too has same phone one year older too same rom same modem evrythin s same but for him battery is good and phone.apk doesn't even get awake once for all in usage. Oly for me

The best place to post is your own forum as given earlier...anyway you can try freeze that phone.apk and use a third party phone app from play store ( like Rocket dialer or others) to see if its the app that is causing the problem or just do a clean flash of another stock ROM, meaning , you will reformat everything before flash, so you need to backup and save everything to your PC or cloud storage .

Battery drains very fast

I have a gt I9070, the time used the rom cynogemmod 10.2.
The problem is that the battery started discharging very fast (Airplane mode) or off.
Yes he unloaded off battery was 100% an hour later was 60% ...
I let the battery discharge and 0% loaded again and the problem continued ..
So I bought a new battery .. but still the same thing .. I do not know what to do :crying:

You must charge the battery for 16 hours... and you must also know that CM is battery sucker... stock is way better in battery life...

I'll download the rom ... and post here as he was thank you friend: D

Try to use phone without installed apps. Do factory reset and see how it will react. And so at least 3 full discharge (to 1-2%) and charge.

Already tried .. and connection of disconnected data and minimum brightness ...
Now put the ZTM 2.3.6 rom to see if it improves (not found the ZTO heheh)
Let's see how it behaves ..

I did root the device ..
I left the battery 100% and deleted the file /data/system/batterystats.bin
I have only the superuser and gapps
I'm beginning to suspect that the cause is hardware ...
Anyone ever had the same problem?

i was facing the same problem​
my advice to you
1- install slimkat 11/7 build
2- make sure sync is disabled (i found it on by default)
3- use greenify with apps that run on schedule only (if you greenified all you will encounter more battery drain)​

I returned saying that would have to change some electronics components (components was questioned about it and did not tell me)
He had been ready in a week ...
The same problem was hardware ...

The only two hardware problems that can cause this are:
-battery old or swollen
-PMIC damaged (this causes also recharge issues, it's not your case)
They told you a lie. If you bought a new battery and still the same problem, yours was a software issue. On 4.4 KK ROMs battery duration is very short, on 4.3 JB ROMs battery duration is longer than 4.4 and less than 4.2/4.1.
Why you asked for what to change and them don't answered? Think... Everyone likes money

I asked them to components that were damaged ...
They did not want tell me (I talked to the secretary) and insisted it was "electronics components"
As I had done everything I tried ... I went back to the original ROM 2.3.6 and still the problem ..
So I sent for assistance ..
Next week should be ready'll make them talk me what happened and actually post here ..

Your phone was held awake by clash of clans from what I see. That is not normal.
However, I got the approximate same battery life.

If you rooted before then no deep sleep when you return to stock firmwares that's making your battery drain fast

Maybe your phone doesn't like your router. Try a night without WiFi, see if that helps. Bug with ARP or something like that.

Day of the Wi-Fi turned on even when the battery is depleted
Is flash a custom ROM or should the box be used to solve this problem ?
