I've searched and searched and cannot find a detailed answer to this question. Everyone just says don't do it. What would happen if you tried to flash the stock Jelly Bean (4.2.2) bootloader over the KitKat bootloader?
I have both, and the after extracting the tar of each, the file list from both is the same:
aboot.mbn
rpm.mbn
sbl1.mbn
sbl2.mbn
sbl3.mbn
tz.mbn
Is there a specific reason why this would fail?
Thanks.
Hi,
I messed up the update to 6.0 by pressing the root button in TWRP after updating... I then tried to downgrade to 5.1 and update again using the captured OTA zip, which probably messed things up further.
Right now I have 6.0 booting (by wiping, installing 5.1 via fastboot, then flashing the OTA zip via TWRP recovery), but no radio access (no wifi networks detected, no SIM detected, etc.)
I think what I need is the modem files for 6.0. In my 5.1 zip, I have NON-HLOS.bin and fsg.mbn, however, flashing them in my phone's current state causes it to stop booting. Does anyone have these for 6.0?
I also found this thread, which is for the Moto G but has 'firmware dumping methods' near the top of the first post which I believe can be used for the Moto X as well. If anyone could try that for the Moto X and provide me with the files, I'd be most grateful.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
In the end I flashed only the NON-HLOS.bin file from the 5.1 zip with:
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
I didn't run the 'erase modemst1', 'erase modemst2' or 'fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn' commands.
My phone booted, and full radio/network capability seems to be restored
Can u please provide the link to download the modem files of xt1092 5.1 modem files??
Note This is Cyanogen OS 13.0.0 (6.0.1) and not Cyanogen Mod.
Has anyone tried to install Wileyfox Swift's Stock Rom on their android one device? Have you had any issues?
Earlier I tried to install Wileyfox Swift's stock cm13 rom to my Android One (Cherry Mobile One G1) via fastboot.
Everything went well, all of the functions are working except for the Cellular Network.
The sim cards were actually detected by the phone and apn settings are automatically generated and correct.
I'm using Talk n' Text (Smart) and ABS-CBN Mobile (Globe) which has been properly detected.
However it can't get any network signal. I tried going to settings and do a scan but the scan fails right away.
I checked my device IMEI and its still the same as before I installed Cyanogen OS.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
Here's how I did the installation
I downloaded the file from cyngn support website.
cm-13.0-ZNH0EAS2NH-crackling-signed-fastboot-2306277a34.zip
http://builds.cyngn.com/factory/crackling/cm-13.0-ZNH0EAS2NH-crackling-signed-fastboot-2306277a34.zip
I have TWRP installed so I did an "Advanced Wipe" first and pretty much deleted/formatted everything.
Then I flashed every flashable file thats on the zip.
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata_64g.img
fastboot reboot
The device booted up normally and I noticed that the signals bars we're empty.
I tried to search for fixes but I cant seem to find any.
I also tried to flash a debuggable boot image, it work tho but nothing happened with the network issue.
I will try to reflash my Cherry Mobile One G1's Stock Rom later.
Hope I wont have the same issue after reinstalling the stock rom.
If anyone knows how to fix this lemme know. Thanks.
Or if anyone succeded let me know how you did your installation.
Also feel free to inform if I did something wrong.
flash "NON-HLOS.bin" (or whatever it's name is) from your working stock Rom, that should bring Cellular signal back.
Have to do this every time, after flashing Wileyfox Rom's (in my case for a Storm Clone).
Seems the Wileyfox devices use slightly different(?) modem hardware
Hi, confirmed it works also on my G1.
I used the files from same zip that you linked:
http://builds.cyngn.com/factory/cra...S2NH-crackling-signed-fastboot-2306277a34.zip
But I did NOT flash modem / NON-HLOS.bin
I flashed this way:
fastboot erase DDR
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot reboot
Signal has no issue, see screenshot here :good:

Thanks, they probably use somehow a different hardware. I got it working too.
tried the one in the oneteams forum and i have to say its a really good rom. its like cyanogenmod with optimizations for the device itself )
Is this the 32bit version?
I would like to try Cyanogen on my CM G1 but I want the 64bit version. Please confirm if the downloadable ROM from Cyanogen website are 64bit and help me how to properly flash the latest stable build. I think I don't need the modem flashed from what I read from previous post that I will not get any cellular signal here in PH.
I want to ask if you're on official Cyanogen do you get frequent updates? I'm on stock Android One ROM it is getting update every month and I think will surely get Android N.

Do you know how to get/backup NON-HLOS.bin file from the working phone? I downloaded the flashable zip from cyanogenmod what I would do is flash the zip via TWRP and then fastboot flash the NON-HLOS.bin so when I boot up no cellular problem.

Hi,
I've bought two new displays (from china) on ebay and replaced the broken ones on two of my Wileyfox Swift.
Everything looks fine and basically its working but on both phones I got an issue with the display response time.
It feels kind of laggy. e.g. when unlocking the phone via pattern you can feel and see a difference between another Swift.
Somehow its slower and when e.g. typing "hello" and you press the l to fast its only shown once. Like the cpu usage is to high but it isn't.
From my point of view the displays look like they are original parts (Labels, general look).
I don't think I made a mistake during mounting the components from the broken phone to the new one.
Either I got bad luck and bought replacements of minor quality or, thats why i'm writing here, there is some kind of firmware updates.
The old phones where from 2016 and maybe i need some firmwareupdate.
I'm not talking about recovery image or os image. The issue is on LOS 17.1 the same like on LOS 16.0 or TWRP 3.2.3 or TWRP 3.4.0
What about this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...15&postcount=2
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash hyp hyp.mbn
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash splash splash.img
Maybe there is something simlar for flashing the display firmware or something? Where i got the latest stuff mentioned in this thread?
I'm very happy with my Swift up to now but if I can't solve this issue I'll buy a new phone.
PS: I created the same thread in the Wileyfox Swift forum. I hope this is ok.
