I have a Galaxy Gear SM-V700, the firmware is included CHM (Chinese).
There is no official TIZEN update.
I have two questions:
1) You can manually upgrade for Tizen?
2) How to change the Chinese (CHM) example to BTU version (Android)?
Interesting:
If I replace the (Android) firmware on Odin, then do not change the CSC. (Stay CHM).

Download and install Samsung kies on your PC. Connect the tab and check for firmware updates you should be prompted for updates. If you want a custom ROM check the development section or click banner in my signature

I have a UK unbranded Tab. I flashed a full JJ4 ROM and Kernel a while ago, and Kies updated me to the above. I'm happy with the device, but I want to update to GB and I think Kies sees me as being in Russia and not UK...!
Is there a stock UK unbranded CSC? What is the latest UK firmware for unbranded Tabs, anyone.
And just for clarity, I am in the UK. Thanks for any advice...
just fire up the dialer and type *#272*IMEI# and choose your country code
for your info this is will wipe everything in your tab

I'm as always intrested in Rooting my devices and now it is time for my Gnote.
However I feel very insecure about Rooting without a stock rom to return to.

Could I use orther rom like the Austrian one (same PDA (N7000XXKKA), CSC (N7000OXXKK5) but different product code(GT-N7000ZBAATO)) to flash my phone

Product Code nothing to do with ROM.. U can flash it. only thing is you wont get OTA updates and from Kies too. u need to update using Odin.

I would like to downgrade to the old Rom, root it, then update through Kies while keeping root by OTA RootKeeper.
Is there any way to do it for my actual Rom?
