That should depend on the market, but for the Moto G 2014 it have many international languages including asian characters. For last year models, it only had a few which was unacceptable, I think they learned their lesson this time.

Hi guys,
I want to buy an unlocked Moto X (1st gen), should I buy it now ($ 350) or do you guys think the price will drop when we're closer to the new Moto X release?
I'm guessing that once the new Moto X becames available at motomaker, the 1st gen won't be available anymore, right?
I could wait until no further than Sept 20th because I don't live in the USA and a friend of mine is staying there until the end of the month so he'd bring it to me.
Thank you!

$350 seems really high when a new 2014 Moto G is selling for $179.
What does everyone think is a fair price for a used 2013 Moto X now that the 2014 Moto phones have been released ???
I bought a new Gen 1 as the Gen 2 offers me nothing I feel is worth waiting for, and I do not like larger phones.

I'm in the same boat and wondering the same thing. I currently have a GS3 and prefer to stick with the 1st gen Moto X.
I'd buy a developer's edition
What is up with motorola, been reading several posts across the web and customers are not happy with the 2nd gen X.
Can anyone shed info on the 2nd gen LTE/bw issues?
Android Central, Motorola forums have unhappy customers
Thread already exists.
Just done a quick live chat with Motorola support regarding Lollipop on the Moto X 2013 and he advised that the soak test is already under way. Does anyone have this update yet? I'm too impatient to wait for the OTA so wondering if anyone has the ROM uploaded anywhere bugs and all?
Not sure how to show screenshot on here but have attached a picture of the chat
The chat guys don't know that much... I would take anything they say with a grain of salt.
@richwright1, I wouldn't consider that "confirmed"
There is no mention of 2013 vs 2014 until you bring it up halfway through the chat, and the Moto rep never mentions 2013 vs 2014, or Gen 1 vs Gen 2.
I also chatted with support here in india.
he said that the soak tests are going on for moto g gen 1 devices in india and he had no info on moto x
I was on the 'MOTO X 2013' support chat and not the 2014 so the live chat was regarding the specific device already if that helps

Here in Brazil a friend of my also received information about the soak test of the 2013 Moto X in India.
Yeah they don't know anything about android 5 update . In morning i read that motorola has started chat support in india. So i thought i would give a try. Here is a screenshot of my conversation with motorola. They are not giving any information about update.
Its gonna be equal of the second generation, first the moto g and after that the moto x.

HELP !!!
GUYS GUYS HELP ME.
I'll keep it short. Moto X XT 1052 . Screen broken. LCD working. Getting just the SCREEN somewhere but for Moto X XT 1060.
Will there be any difference in the size, shape or compatibility between XT 1052 and XT 1060.
The catch is seller is selling XT 1056, 1058, 1060 outer glass at Different Prices. So, if screen size is same then why different prices ??
PLS HELP !!

You might have more success in a new thread, or another thread about the LCD glass, not the soak test.
To my knowledge, all the phones are physically the same size/shape/etc. The screen should fit regardless of what model it says it is for. Anyone else can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong in that thought.
Yaa buddy sorry for posting here. Wanted a quick opinion.
Even i feel that the variants shouldn't vary in the pricing, though i also have no idea why is the seller selling different variant screens at different prices.
I think that they are unaware of the variant number and have used it randomly. I think ill buy that outer glass and wish me luck that i could get it replaces successfully cuz its damn difficult and risky to do that ..
Hey, I'm looking into buying Moto G 2nd Gen and I would like to know if there is Czech language support in Stock rom or if Motorola is still deleting languages. Thanks in advance.

I have dual sim Moto G 2014 and i dont have Czech language . I bought my Moto G in France.
Yeah, German Amazon is selling dual-sim variant too. I just don't get why Motorola is still doing this ****.
Would it be available on our device?
Motorola hasn't specified which devices will receive the Android 6 update as far as I know.

That was posted today
Great news, thanks. No update for the original Moto G and Moto G 4G. That's a shame.
I'm surprised there's no Moto E or Moto E LTE there.
meanwhile still on 5.0.2
