[MOD] Stock ROM 2.3.4 by Surdu_Petru (ADD : 18/09/2011)

Hi !
A new Usually Gingerbred Rom 2.3.4 Rooted , Zipalign and busybox .
Beautiful, Stable ROM, ......ROM can speed up if you install the update Kernel .....and you can install any aplplication you want !
This ROM is Stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 with stock kernel 2.6.35.7 android-build GRJ22 with radio.img , rooted , busybox and zipalign;
For flashing this rom you need : recovery 5.0.1.0 or 5.0.2.0 ( I don't know if it's work with 4......)...but you can try....;
Before you flash get : - wipe data/factory reset, -wipe cache partition, wipe Dalvik Cache, format : /system,/cache,/data,/boot;
All the aplication updated on 18.09.2011 ( maps, market, talk2, voicesearce , music_google on /system/app and other they are up to date );
- removed stock launcher and add Go Launcher Ex with Honeycomb theme prinstalled;
- boot animation with gingerbread logo;
- transparent bar notifications add;
- new Icon notifications add;
- ultimate busybox_installer, superuser_update, rom_manager add;
- Skype, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger, Google+ all with audio-video support add;
- ultimate FlashPlayer for YouTube HD video playback add;
- ultimate AdvancedTaskManager and Bitdefender Security for maxim optimize add;
- ultimate winamp, music stock, zimly for audio play add;
- ultimate zimly player and summer player for video play add;
- office suite support add;
- nice lock screen add;
- Reboot Tool with power options add;
- Widget ( power, wether clock and other) add;
Fastest Rom without bug with nice stuff add;
After flash if you have problem ( force closed programs) try to Fix Permission on Rom Manager;

To optimize your work, you can make some settings ( after flash) :
- AdvancedTaskManager - settings- uncheck Notification Bar Icon
- check Enable Auto Kill
- check Enable Regular Kill
- check Regular Kill Frequency evry 5 min
- check Startup Kill
- check Show Available Memory
Menu- themes-check Honeycomb the...( for changed theme);
Add to screen - widget - check 3D Digital Weather Clock
- check Power Widget [1x4] ( you can toggle 2g/3G it's just shortcut under settings-wireless & networks- mobile networks- data enable ) but it's work not like other room;
...and you can do many other settings.....
I will make an update to this rom with a faster kernel ....as fast as I could.....

On Quadrant Standard I got this stock kernel maxim 1416 ......
but I already tested another kernel and got to 1631.....I will see....

i just flash it..it look very nice..nice color combination..the only thing i didnt like is the animation.. but i manage to remove,, you did a very good job

You can do No animations if you want....menu-settings-display-animations-check No animations...... Thanks lol....

interesting...not my style though...but keep it up , it's always good to have alternatives

This is Shendu OS rom basically fine tuned for our device

After selecting Shendu Launcher, settings window will not work ( Default bug). you need to select ADW Launcher to select setting.

yeah, that was problem even on cm7 if its not signed correctly

I apologize for the problem I tried with 16activo and the rom will not boot. Soon new version without.
The first time, however, may also take up to 10 minutes

Hey! Wait a sec...How come you say it's stable if you haven't even tested it.
You should have tested this yourself but no...you wait for feedback... Why? To be sure it don't brick your device but no problem if of others....

Ok, so after removing mentioned file it boots without problems, but gallery is glitching (like most ics/jb miui ports) and sd-card mounting is not working. On the bright side, themes work, but not fully. I wasn't able to change homescreen clock for instance It's based on jellybean 4.1.2 from december 9 2012, miui 2.11.2

How do you do that?
It was giving me corrupted zip error when I removed the file.

[Q] Hide AM/PM

I have already hidden the SFinder/QConnect options in the status bar, but how do you hide AM/PM? It's driving me nuts!

If you aren't comfortable modifying your own apks, I provided a purely-stock systemui with only the sfinder/qconnect bar removed in another thread.

also looking for a way to remove am/pm

Go over to the development section, I posted a deodexed rom and flashable zip with some tweaks, including no ampm

How did you end up deodexing it? I tried doing the S Finder/Quick Connect mod for the Sprint model and using this method to deodex SystemUI but the result didn't work, constant SystemUI FCs even after clearing the dalvik-cache. I think it's been at least a year since I did any smali work so this is the first time I've worked with any Lollipop files.

I'm with ya man. I'm an AOSP guy myself, smali, baksmali all that are so foreign to me. But, I figured out enough to get it deodexed and do some hacks. Go to this thread I'm linking and read the last few pages, mostly my posts. All the info you need to deodex is there. I would advise you NOT to use that tool to deodex though. Use joeldroids, it leaves the deodexed files in the original folder which makes it 1000x's easier to keep track of.

Thanks, hopefully I can work on it some this weekend. I haven't had any luck doing mods so far, tried to mod the camera for 560 dpi too but my recompiled APK wouldn't work there either so I may hit you up later on if I run into any issues.

Yes , absolutely .. Default camera is gcam with working video and portrait mode .
Fingerprint also works great , doesn't reset after reboot ..

Rom works great, very fast, no reboots. Using 3rd day 20190123.

just flashing. its good, and how to remove "most used apps" from top of menu display?

Long press on home gives u a home settings option . Then go to suggestions option .
