Here's the 26A Stock, Rooted, Debloated ROM.
Full ROM was not possible as it would not flash. Was too big.
You need to be on a custom recovery to flash this.
Only tested being on 24A with Freedom Tools to get custom recovery.
Used 24A kernel to get this to boot thank to dr87.
Dev's feel free to use this to get a working kernel that activates Knock-ON. Just credit. Thanks

Yeah, I have knock on also when I flash Dorimanx 7.7 with "No Knock Code".
My baseband still says 25B though, but my software version is 26A.
Everything works otherwise. Thank you MicroMod--saving me from KDZ back to 24A to take OTA
Good to see you around still Micro. Ill play with this rom over the weekend.
I just upgraded to 26A, baseband, kernel, etc. through the "System Upgrade" in Settings, and made a debloat zip (flashed in twrp) for myself to remove the bloat. Knock-on works fine on 26A kernel. It's much quicker than flashing a whole Rom.

You might want to check the udpater script and remove some of the lines...I have it remove all the GApps because they can be downloaded from the Play Store, plus I don't like GApps residing in /system; it's just a personal preference.

Thnx @Cloudyfa for putting up the ROM for us.
If i understand it correctly i can simply flash the rom and baseband zip file.
Iam currently running SlimKat 4.4.2 AOSP ROm on 12B everything (baseband/modem/bootloader etc) with CWM 6.0.4.4.
I never took 24A LG KK update.
Is my understanding correct ?
I knew this was coming, spent a ton of time getting back to stock (had to use tot method after fighting kdz method) just last night. Oh well upward and onwards, to infinity and beyond.
I am still on 11A is flashing this going to be an issue?
Thnx @Cloudyfa

this. same question for me. I never upgraded to 12b...
That's a great question. Xdabbeb kernel has a 12b aboot check. None have determined that the check can be removed and still boot. I have no idea if it's a big deal. What I do know is that in 12b booted just fine with a 10a aboot. This tells me that 12b roms are satisfied by earlier aboots. Presumably because they are identical other than a version number.

So...if we're on the rooted/debloated 12b, can we flash this over? I wouldn't mind trying to avoid the whole wipe/revert to stock thing if I can help it. Thanks!
In theory one only needs to dd the 12b aboot from jackpotclavin instructions. Can someone try that from a stock 12b rom like Malladus 1.2.9 rom then flash this after a full wipe minus internal storage. That seems cleaner than a dirty flash over 12b. I'd also suggest dd the 2.7.0.0 twrp after the aboot upgrade to ensure that it's aware of the new aboot.

We need a bootstack, not a ROM, you must use kdz/tot method.

I dont know if you mean you have 12B kdz/tot already or just using a 12B ROM on older bootstack. For easy understanding, what's your last kdz/tot ROM version. If its 12B then you're good to go.
@ ALL: for those unsure what you're doing (or currently have), you should flash 12B tot/kdz instead of messing around with different ROM combination.
I flashed according to the OP's instructions and it's been sitting at the white Verizon splash screen for a few minutes. The LED is fading from blue to green. Is this normal? I'd think, if anything, it'd hang up at the LG screen.

FWIW, if you already have a recovery installed you should be able to flash the .zip of 2.7 through flashify. This would have the same net effect of flashing your new recovery .zip from your current recovery(2.6). The benefit being the ease of downloading and flashing through the app rather than doing it manually.

Thanks! I thought that was the case for updating from 2.6 - 2.7. I don't have a custom recovery at the moment. Because your bootstack is 24A, you can only run roms that are using the 24A source code underneath. That would be any stock based KK rom. There is a Carbon beta in the thread that will work also, you just can't use the nightlies until they are updated.

Most of the AOSP based roms are using the drivers/kernel from the older JB source that was available at the time, to go back to one of them, you need to downgrade your bootstack on your phone to 12B.
The devs should start moving all their roms to use the 24A/KK source now that is available, it will just take some time.

Thanks! So after flashing most AOSP roms I then flash the full 12B bootstack, then GAPPS?
If you don't mind me asking, how did you flash TWRP. That's my next step. I rooted last night.

I used the Kitkat 24A Freedom zip. Extract and run the bat file.

AutoRec - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2715496
The 24A release patched the exploit used to install a recovery, you need to downgrade your aboot back to 12B so it can be flashed, AutoRec does it all automatically for you. Just grab the vs980 version from that thread.

I found it's the easiest way to do it, for those who wanna flash it manually/understand what it's doing, JackPotClavin has the steps in his CM11 thread.

One more stupid question, what gapps do I use after downgrading, I tied running this apk, going straight to recovery from there, installing carbon, kk gapps and still bootlooped.

I believe I used Banks gapps. Which Carbon are you installing? The nightlies won't work if you're at 24A.

I did get it install running the downgrade zip and also the pacman rom but i had issues when also installing gapps (worked fine without) but one of them didn't have data. Do you have any idea where the notification and status bar icons are located either within the roms before they are installed or after? I would like to change them.

I don't see why you couldn't if you got TWRP installed, I think CloudyG2 runs off the 26a Bootstack so you would need to flash that then flash rom and all should be good!

reflash your rom or push a 6.o kernel to your phone and flash it.
before you make anymore mods to your phone, you want to make a backup within twrp recovery, in case you end up like this. then you can always restore it.

Its important to first flash the kernel and then the latest superSU.zip from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/wip-android-6-0-marshmellow-t3219344.

you do realize that when flashing kernels, that you dont have to reflash supersu(if you already have root)? :silly:

I was (am) under the impression that after every kernel flash superSU had to be flashed too At least with 6.0.1.

well, im not on 6.0.1, im on 6.0, and i flashed a kernel yesterday without flashing supersu, and i still have root. in theory, on 6.0.1, it should still be the same, as your supersu doesnt get removed when you flash another kernel. but, im not perfect, so i guess i could be wrong when it comes to 6.0.1
