[Q] Watching films using special HDMI adapter?

Just saw this: http://www.eforchina.com/view/85184...-3D--Support-720P-HD-Output--Length--18cm.htm
is it possible to watch films on TV using this adapter? or this will not gonna work?
I don't think so because as far as I know our HD2s can't output AV via usb.
Shame though because that would be groovy
So if you are using one of those phones you can actually get HD quality from your phone to your TV?
that would be great !

MHL adapter question

Hi guys. Just wondering if when using an MHL adapter, the screen on the Note has to be on? I mean, if I want to play a game there's no need for the Note screen to be turned on if I am watching a 40"+ TV.
Thanks!

[Q] Nook Tablet Charger with KFHD?

Anyone know if the Nook Tablet Charger will charge the Kindle Fire HD fast? I didn't think to order the Amazon charger when I pre-ordered the Kindle Fire HD. I am still showing a "Shipping Soon" status.
$10 Discount on Kindle Charger After Purchase of KFHD
If you didn't order the charger with your Kindle Fire HD, you can request a $10 promotion from Amazon. It was easy and I was able to do it via Chat. I found this link on a review of the charger.

The Nook Tablet charger has similar specs to the Kindle charger. I am not sure whether the chargers have a way to communicate with the device to optimize charging or if they are all same.

[Q] Screen Mirroring

Does anyone know if it's possible to mirror the phone screen on a TV over WIDI? I know you can use the MediaLink hardware, but surely if my TV has WIDI then I should be able to mirror the screen without having to buy this? Cheers
I've never heard of WIDI being mentioned in the HTC specs.. no luck getting it to work?
A cheaper alternative to the pricey wireless HDMI interface HTC is selling is to get a cheap (starts around $10) microUSB to HDMI MHL dongle. Try that

There's a WIDI option under the WIFI settings, but I can't seem to get it to connect to my TV..... Will look into the dongle. Cheers

Does USB C TO HDMI work

I was thinking of buying this phone as a dual solution for mobile and tv gaming.
Does cables like these https://www.amazon.in/AmazonBasics-Type-C-Digital-Multiport-Adapter/dp/B01LYJQ5ZD/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1547955384&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX118_SY170_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=usbc+to+hdmi&dpPl=1&dpID=31EODvfY81L&ref=plSrch work
If not can you suggest a phone under 15K which supports these connectors?
I don't think it does.
have you tried it?
Do you know any other phones that support the cables which are under 15K?
You can use this application to check if your phone supports HDMI output https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wikimediacom.MHLChecker

I have not tried it but surely it will work. These cables mirror your phone's screen on TV, so that you can play games, watch movies. But I will suggest you something else.
Instead of buying cable, go for casting device like Amazon Fire TV stick. It has the option to mirror your phone screen on TV. Since it wireless connection , no need to sit near TV.
Amazon fire TV stick also has lots of apps like Netflix which is useful. Hope this helps
Well the app said it doesn't. And probably is right.
There are only a few phones left that still support MHL.
