Hello all! I have the D415 (tmobile) version of the L90. I have unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone, whenever i try to install any kind of custom rom through TWRP i get a error saying that the roms are for w7 devices and that my device is a w7ds (dual sim) device. We all know that the D415 IS NOT a dual sim device. Does anyone know a way around this? Any info would be lovely.

You managed to get a hold of the first version of TWRP for our devices. You can download CWM or Philz-Touch from post #2 of my LG-D415 ROM thread.
Optionally, You can go to this thread and download a working version of TWRP from the OP.
Or you can go here for the 2.8.0.0 version of twrp so many options!

it seem that this is not working for now. I flash TWRP 2.7.0.0 m7 version and system can't boot. Go back to the TWRP 2.7.0.8 m7vzw for now and waiting for updates.

You can't flash a bootloader that is not intended for your phone variant, you will brick it. But wait, you are talking about TWRP which is not the bootloader, its the recovery. You can't neither flash a recovery that is not intended for your phone variant!! Recovery and bootloader version have absolutely nothing to do with the message you got about your sim card.

Stop flashing things that are not intended for your M7VZW !!! You will end up messing your partitions. Go read the forums or ask here before doing thing you don't understand.
There also a specific forum for the Verizon Htc one here, you could probably find more precise information for your phone variant.

You are right, my mistake - I mean recovery flash
I was using HTC HD2 on several androids builds before so I get to use with partition mess
All I neet is to get rid of verizon from my toy. Do you think that flashing fimware, radio etc could help ? Something like described here for m7vzw phones http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46506621 but for m7.
Hi there friends. I have some questions for the pro's in here.
I have a Moto G (2014) X1068 (dual sim) and i'm planning to root it with CFAR.
Will it work without unlocked bootloader?
If yes then does the phone's data get wiped?
Also which version do i need to download XT1068 (titan_retaildsds) or XT1068 (titan_retde) ?
Thanks in advance

- No, you´ll have to unlock your bootloader first on the motorolapage as described.
- All data (except external SD) will get lost by this process.
- You´ll have to download the CFAR-version that fits to your firmware. Look in settings/about phone/system version if your firmware ends to dsds (europe) or retde (germany).
You can also root by flashing or even just booting TWRP 2.8.4.0 or 2.8.5.0 and flash latest superSU.zip http://download.chainfire.eu/695/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.45.zip through TWRP.
But bootloader unlock and loss of data is necessary here too.

I am currently on 4.4.4, want to flash CM12.
I understand I need to flash CM11 first.
I have unlocked bootloader, I'm rooted, SIM unlocked, and have TWRP 2.7.1.1 recovery
- Do I need to upgrade TWRP to 2.8.7.0? Or some other version?
- Will I need to re-SIM-unlock for int'l use?
- My fastboot/bootloader is v30.B7 - is that ok?
Thanks!
Don't worry

Hello guys,
I bought this Used G2 yesterday its Verizon version but its unlocked i don't know how they unlocked it but my non Verizon sim is working fine in it.
Now i want to upgrade to Android L.
I was checking the android version in phone and i saw that Chinese logo i have uploaded the image.
I Don't understand this what is this ?
My phone is currently using:
Code:
Baseband:
VS98024A-M8974A-AAAANAZM-2.0.20046
Kernel:
3.4.0-perf-gdf89a11
[email protected]
Build:
KOT49l.VS98024A
Software ver:
VS98024A
Don't know anything about recovery.
Now in phone it says its rooted
but when i try to install SuperSU it gives me this error (check the image)
Code:
"there is no Su binary installed and supersu cannot install it this is a problem!
Now my question is how do i upgrade this phone to Android 5.0 ? without loosing the ability to run my non Verizon sim.
Phone will always work with other sims since it is GSM unlocked . About that weird logo of yours, i couldn't really help but what i would do is flashing the 39A firmware once and for all so you can have Lollipop. Once from there, i suggest you to flash CloudyG2 3.3 so you wont suffer from battery draining and slow charge.
Good luck.

Hello everybody
So, my sister got a new phone and since I (still) don't have a smartphone I wanted to use her old one.
OFC, I don't want an old version of android on it, so I thought about installing CM onto it.
I tried to install TWRP so I could install CM on it, but the bootloader is locked.
So I tried to unlock the bootloader which didn't work. After reading a bunch I found out that V10b isn't unlockable.
After that I installed the LG Update tool (LGMobile Support Tool) and it updated my handset to V20c. I tried to unlock the BL there, but it just worked sort of. In the hidden menu the BL-Check says "unlock" but when in fastboot mode I can't install TWRP because of a locked BL.
Onto reading. Apparently you can't unlock the BL without a Euro-Open version (mine is currently LGP880AT-00-V20c-232-10-JUL-10-2013) so I would like to install the Euro-open version, but when I connect my phone in "Software update" mode and try to read the phone information with the "LG Flash Tool 2014", the tool crashes and nothing is displayed. So since I don't know if the tool even works, I don't want to fly blind and flash something on it.
So, I'd really like to get some help that I can install Euro-open, to unlock the BL and to install TWRP and CM onto my phone.
Some Infos:
PC: W7x64 Pro
Handset: LG P880
Android Version: 4.1.2
Software Version: P88020c-232-10
Thanks in advance
Andy
