Hi..Anyone Able to get Working..GCM Notification With Greenify..when i greenify the app i am not able to receive any notification from app automaticallyin miui 6 i have to open the app then only its show any new notification...but in aosp its working...
and also without greenify when i clear the recent app.then also notication stops..and only able to receive notification when i restarrt the app...any one facing the same prob..

It's a bug of MIUI. You can try with exposed framework, but I don't think it will resolve your issue (try xposed only if you are running miui5 v34 or miui6.....otherwise don't use xposed, you will end up with boot loop problem). Only wsm tools will solve this issue.

When having activated Floating notifications+Halo sometimes when I get a BBM notification and I press it, screen goes black and if you press home the only thing you can do is to reboot the system. It happens with last nightlies on Xperia Z. When I', using the GoogleNow Launcher it crashes but with other launcher the screen goes black.
If there's another way of displaying floating notifications I will apreciate it.

Invalid bug report. We don't have Halo, I have no idea what you're running but it isn't official Omni

I'm using the Xposed module to run Halo plus Floating Notifications app.

Then report the issue to Xposed, or Halo developer, or Floating Notifications developer.

Just bought a Z3 compact recently and since yesterday (didn't install anything new, no special changes...), whenever I receive a message via the messaging app (stock, no hangout, it is disabled), the icon show, the phone vibrate or rings when needed, but doesn't show the message preview. I have to slide the statusbar to see it...
I have show notifications checked, no other app reading notifications.
Any help? I don't believe and I don't want to go through a factory reset because of only that :/

what about Settings>Personalization>Manage notifications
do you disable the Messaging app ?
btw I don't get what you mean by message preview ?

No, the messaging app is enabled there ^^'
Message preview, you know, the message being displayed on the statusbar when you receive a message (you don't have to slide the notifications bar to see it)
Yes, I have the same. When message arrives and screen is off then its nothing except led blink. I think that change with 5.0 update

The problem is that, even with screen on, it still doesn't scroll the text preview when I receive a message. I also have to add that everything else works (It does scroll down the data off info for example)
I do hope Lollipop will solve that, but it'll be long before it starts rolling.

But don't you think there is another solution beside running another messaging app? (hangouts runs just fine but meeeh)
I have done it 3 timmes and in every time the notifications when I swipe down completely lost.
Any with same problem?
What notifications? Notification toggles or the standard app based notifications? What is your phone? Which version of Xposed you flashed? How could someone help you unless you mention your problem at least in half details man?

I have a weird issue with all apps on the latest MIUI 10 release for the Mi 8 SE.
The problem is that I don't get notifications from a single app when new info in it arrives, be it Email, Whatsapp or XDA Labs.
Only when I actually enter the app do I suddenly get to see all the new messages and missed voice calls, as if the app wasn't even allowed to work in the background.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Setting notifications to Urgent may help you.

Yeah, I did but it didn't change anything.
The only solution I could find was to lock the specific apps in the background with the recenta menu.
However, that increased the stand-by drain.
I have to wait for around 250 hours.
In the current Miui 10 beta, the default notification settings for most apps are set to off.
Goto to settings > notifications > app notifications
And you have to turn on individual notification types for every individual app in there. Doesn't fix the lock screen notifications though.

It's all already enabled. I even set the notifications as Important.
I'm not a potato, I know that MIUI is tricky but things that should fix the issue don't seem to work on the latest MIUI 10 build.
hello i want get a MI8 soon, but working notifications (mainly whatsapp) are important for me, will there be notifications in the Always on display or when the notification arrive that the display on for few seconds, and does the notificationlight work? i dont want first open the app for see if there is a new message, i need the push notifications working. any news ?

Works fine here. Don't use AOD though as I have an Amazfit Bip. Notification light works too.

I flashed the MIUI 10 from Xiaomi.eu and everything works fine.
And there's also no Chinese crap, even the Music app is without it.
if i disable the notch, will the notification icons are displayed on the screen ?
Weird i had lastest release from Xiaomi.eu and it didnt work......with 9.5 works perfectly
I dont receive any push notification for line (the one that slides down from the top whenver there is message) i have tried turning on the toggle for Message Notifcation but whenever i go back to the section the toggle is set to OFF automatically i'm really pissed. App notification toggle does not work. With Android Pie, you are able to choose which notifications to show, but if you hide them, the MIUI settings does not allow you to enable them again! I muted Play Store but am unable to re-enable the notifications. Screenshots below. Notification on App level is enabled but App Permissions says "Not Allowed" and no matter what I do, it doesn't change it.

Running the latest global Pie build 10.1.2.0.

Running 10.1.2.0 too. Next time you get a Play Store notification, disable it from the notification pulldown. It breaks after that.
