So got the Incredible S in the beginning of July and was very happy with it, beat the hell out of my old HD2 who got bricked Desided not to root this one cause it was already android and i didnt want to break the warranty. But then the 2.3.3 update came and i didnt recieve text and calls was dismissed. (it is an own thread about this issue on the forums) so i desided to try a rom from XDA to see if this could help solve the issue. It did not but i rooted the phone (S-off right?) and used it with GSM only.. today i talked with HTC support and got a hold of the RUU_Vivo_HTC_WWE_1.36.405.1_Radio_Radio_20.23.30.0 802U_38.02.01.11_M_release_172670_signed.. the cusomter support guy uploaded it and i installed it with the USB cable.. the installer said everything went fine.. the phone reebots.. boots to the HTC logo screen and turns off again.. and keeps on going in the same cycle..
I can get into bootloader, but when i press "power" to choose recovery it goes straight to the white htc screen again and reebots.. what to do now? Is this one dead also?
Tried rename RUU to PG32IMG and put it on the memory card.. still no luck it says "Bootloader - Bypasses"
"TP - Bypassed"
"TP - Bypassed"
Why? And still no luck tried with two signed RUU's now.. The bootloader says
Vivo PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT 6.13.1002
At least i want all the Revolutionary stuff gone.. Any idea? Im out of ideas right now.. Oh geez, it booted the 2.1.3 RUU.. nice.
But why would not the other room work? This is the one i have to get workin.. Any ideas?
Does the RUU got a radio in it? Please share this RUU cause I believe this is not avaible anywhere. I would give it a try then and report if I have issues.

Yes I think it can be a radio conflict too, perhaps you downgraded it.
Here you go Please give a report if it work on your device
I also want to gain S-ON on my Incredible, used AlphaRevX Beta to get the S-OFF but i need it to be S-ON again, and i cant really fint the information on how to do it. These forums are amazing but very hard to navigate true, and find the information you are looking for.
Was thinking... You said you are S-OFF and then installed the 1.36 RUU. Possibly this RUU or ROM needs an older bootloader. Cause the bootloader cannot be overwritten (I assume you used Alpharev), the installation is aborted.
The newer RUU accepts the current bootloader and therefore is being installed.
I think, when you first downgrade your Hboot to the one that can be overwritten, the RUU should work and you can enjoy Froyo again!
So did it work ?

How to do this? Do i need to S-ON first? Or?
Hello everyone!
I have an AT&T HTC One that is S-Off, relocked, SuperCID, black HBoot 1.54, currently on ViperOne 2.7 with stock kernel. I've been trying for the past day and a half to get the 3.22.1540.1 Brightstar WWE to run so I could have it back to stock with the most current OS. I also want to fully convert it to a Developer's Edition phone as well. I thought that with SuperCID you could run any RUU but so far every single time it ends in an error. I also tried changing the CID to the Developer's Edition CID (BS_US001) and still came back with the same error. So here I am on the greatest place in the world for Android phone assistance and advice asking for help in getting my phone converted to a Developer's Edition and/or on the 3.22 RUU. Thanks in advance for any help.
P.S. I already did try to search like crazy for the answers to my questions.!
Well you may need a stock recovery to run an ruu.exe. And I'd recommend going back to super-cid and then running the ruu as well. Be sure you back up all your information that you do then wish to lose, as the ruu will format the entire phone.

No need to relock boot loader because the developer edition comes by default unlocked. Unlock it to continue. You need to change your CID to 11111111 (super CID) and you need to flash the 1.44 hboot (I believe) the black hboot may be causing the problem.
Downgrade to the lowest firmware you can find for the Developers edition.
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
(Yes, twice.)
Check to be sure everything was successful.
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Make sure the bootloader is locked.
Run the ruu.
Let it do its thing.
Boot the phone and set it up.
Go to settings - about phone - software information - system update.
Allow it to download and update.
Repeatedly check for update until you reach 4.3

Hi there,
Did you get it work 3.22.1540.1 dev edition on your phone?, im still stuck in the same problem, got an HTC One AT&T, i got working the RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_BrightstarUS_WWE_1.29.1540.16.exe (dev edition), when i check for updates, there's an update of 17mb, after updating that one, i check again and found the 3.22.1540.1 OTA (around 550mb), i downloaded and agree to install it, but when reboot the phone, it got stuck in the HTC logo screen, did not go further, even trying to get into recovery, same thing, got stuck in HTC logo screen.
Another test i did, was installing RUU_M7_UL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_BrightstarUS_WWE_3.22.1540.1.exe and even the zip version, both of them install correctly but same problem, got stuck in HTC Logo screen, right now my phone is Unlocked bootloader, S-off with supercid (also tried the BS_US001 CID, same problem), hboot 1.55, is there any chance someone can help me with it? thanks a lot

go into stock recovery and do a factory reset ..it should boot then
Hey Everyone,
I am a noob, and I think I screwed up my phone. My HTC One can boot into ClockWorkMod Recovery & Fastboot. I have S-On unfortunately and I have no rom installed. I have been trying RUU all day long to restore this phone, but I'm running out of options. Please can anyone help me get this phone working with any rom so I can put it back to Stock and start all over again. I was rooted and was trying to put a custom rom, but did not adhere to S-On so that's how it got screwed up in the first place. I've been on many other forums and web surfing to search for something.
Please help!
I have also tried ADB pushing files, and that method or option is out. Won't work or at least maybe I'm doing something wrong. Please help

Hello all I am a noob getting into the game, I am trying to get my m7 to update with no luck. I have an AT&T branded One running on versio 1.26.502.15 . I have tried all the little tricks to get it to find them, but nadda. I have been reading into all the resets, RUUs, and OTAs and honestly I'm just more confused. From what I read about manually installing OTAs, I haven't been able to find the right one to upgrade my version. I just want to get up to date with Android and Sense. If anybody could just point me in the right direction I would be so thankful. If there's any other info needed I'll get it up here.

do you have adb and fastboot installed on your computer? If yes, post the output of fastboot getvar all except the imei # and the serialno #
at&t phone must be connected to the at&t network to receive ota update, are you on at&t?
manually installing ota update require s-off, your phone is currently s-on. good new is its "pretty easy" to s-off on hboot 1.44, ok maybe not that easy for a new user but you should be able to s-off if you need to by following revone s-off guide.
if you are not on at&t network:
easiest solution (imo):
unlock the bootloader (this void warranty)
flash twrp recovery 2.6.3.3
flash the guru reset rom 5.12.502.2
or
more complicated but better (imo):
unlock bootloader
flash twrp recovery 2.6.3.3
root
s-off using revone
flash the latest ruu (4.18.502.7)
manually flash ota updates from 4.18.502.7 to 5.12.502.2
update issue
Thank you for the info I don't have adb fastboot installed guess I'll need to start there, I am using the new cricket gsm network which if I'm correct uses AT&T towers but I guess that's why I was unable to get the updates because I'm not actually on AT&T. Will I still need to get s-off with the first solution or not ? Thanks again for the help, I'll get on it and let you know how it goes.

Could you tell me where to find the 5.12.502.2 reset Rom, I went to HTC guru and could not find it in the list, also what are your thoughts on the twrp 2.7, I read a few comments about it and seemed like people were having trouble with it on their One's, I wondered if it would be better to have the new version or if I should just stick with the other one. Thanks again for the help.

better to stick with 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4 unless you want to experiment. there is a charging bug with 2.7.0.0 and it looks like there are also some other bugs with 2.7.1.0 for flashing roms, not sure if it was solved in 2.7.1.1. use 2.6.3.3 or .3.4 and youll be fine.
and no, you dont need s-off to use the reset rom. but a reset rom will not update all the firmware, you'll get an updated rom(software), on the hardware side, only recovery and radio will be updated (if you choose to flash stock radio and recovery at the reset rom installation). hboot will not be updated using this solution.
do a nandroid backup of your current config, just in case you need to restore if something goes wrong.

After lots and lots of research into this before doing I've decided to go with viperone custom Rom, if I understand it right I won't have to mess with s-off for this, please correct me if I'm wrong. But I have found some conflicting instructions, I read somewhere that I will have to copy the boot.img from the Rom and flash it before flashing the Rom then others without that step, so I'm confused, I wanna male sure I do this right the first time. Also are there any files that I need to have updated before flashing a 4.4 sense 6 custom Rom or will it all be included in the Rom?
Thank you

Hi there
Been a long time since I've posted and hope I'm in the right place. Did a search for my question and wound up here.
My phone is stock and s-on, I haven't done anything to it, it's exactly the same as when it came out the box, but I haven't been able to update the software in settings>about>software updates for a while now, it just keeps coming back with download unsuccessful. Any ideas how I can sort this, or do it another way?
Thanks in advance

I'm sure this is a big issue that is posted often, but no other posts have been able to help me.
Now MONTHS back I rooted my HTC One M7 using the guide on htconeroot.com. I realized I really have no use for a rooted phone so I've wanted to unroot it for awhile. I factory reset my phone, which didn't work. so I used this guide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g5gEf2wgS4.
I got my fastboot relocked, and the RUU shown in the video didn't work. I figured it was because the images did not match. My phone had the image 5.05.651.2. And after googling I couldn't find an ruu exe of the image so I tried to flash it using commands like fastboot oem rebootRUU, then fastboot flash zip firmware.zip (firmware.zip being a renamed zip of 5.05.651.2). It said that it transferred over but upon rebooting my phone nothing changed.
After trying to flash it a few more times with no change I decided to try the main RUU on this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2795856#53755358. I set everything up like the original guide and so far it's the only one to do something different. A progress bar finally popped up on the black HTC screen, but the phone quickly rebooted back to the black HTC screen and the program on the computer stopped making any progress same with the phone. Now on the bootmenu it says my os is 6.23.651.6 in red text.
I'm here to ask if anyone knows what I can do to unroot my phone since no other guides I have had worked, and it seems no other people have the same issue as I.
This can actually be very complicated. I own a GPE so I don't know the HTC Sense way around it. There is a guide called "How to got back to stock" or something like that. That should work. Is your phone S-Off? For further reference, it's always easier to sabe a nandroid backup of your stock phone before rooting.

I'm not to sure what you mean. I believe s-off isn't an issue.
Yeah I turned it to s-on and the RUU still is not working.
