There is a clean, simple, beautiful rom call IUNI OS.
Would someone like to port it to our Nexus 5?
It was already ported to many devices such as oneplus one, MI 3 and some Galaxy devices.
This is the official wedsite : http://en.iunios.com/

If there is a port for Oneplus One it's kitkat, or they've backported JB to that device
Very pretty, waiting for the port

Hey guys Fallen here, just got permission to set up a teaser thread for ViperVIVO. For now it starts of with just a teaser video of Beta 3. I am making this thread to make the non testers feel jealous. Joking, Lol. Enjoy and all credits go to Nitsuj17 and Team Venom. I just recorded the video and made it nicer. Enjoy. Plans for future in this thread: Venom Wallpapers, Screenshots etc.

if you want to theme more app icons for sense theming, you can do so with the venom theme kitchen here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28191310&postcount=4
theres a tutorial inside as well
use the skin, sys ui theme, and sense skin from the rom vs the ones in the kitchen though...they arent the same (its in additions/theme) in the rom zip

Hey Fallen,
thx for making this video. I'm impressed, and given that screencast is hanging a bit from time to time the ROM still looks smooth and nice.
Can you compare the smoothness and snappiness of this Sense ROM to an AOSP ROM?
When trying a Sense ROM last time I was displeased, because the Sense ROM felt a lot slower in regards to reaction times and overall performance than the IceColdSandwich ROM 8.3 I'm using as a daily driver currently.
Thanks a lot in advance for your kind answer :fingers-crossed:

I wasn't sure if I wanted CyanogenMod on the Nexus 4. I tried the stock android for a week or so and was dithering on it. Finally I decided to try CM (I've used it on all my previous Nexus devices) and I was reminded why it's just plain awesome! Within minutes I was delighting in the additional options, the extra preferences, the ability to drag down at the right to open the switch screen, all that stuff. It's pure magic.
If you're a tinkerer, I recommend it. The monthly release has been pretty stable for me so far.

I like the stock, but there were lots of things I realised after installing that I'd missed from earlier CyanogenMod versions. I like the additional customisability of it. I can see that stock makes more sense if you want a phone to work reliably with minimal tweaking. Personally, I like to be able to configure it just the way I like it, to tune and tweak the power icons, the various panels, and so on. For example, I particularly like being able to disable the search bar on the homescreen and stretch the launcher to fill the screen. But horses for courses...

Hi,
More this one for help and questions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33588118
Its a very Innovative idea for making a Rom which exactly looks like Zune HD UI..
If any developer is interested in making this type of rom m very much glad.
This type of rom can make a whole lot of change in making a different type of interface to use instead of same looking OS which we are still using..
May b this type of Rom can change the look of the future android roms.
To be frank android roms all are look alike nothing serious changes in the rom and its getting boring by seeing same type of roms.
Please think about changing Interface of the Rom to make it interesting.
Regards.

I'm currently satisfied with Stock, after trying 99% of the roms out there.
Now I want to flash MIUI v5 (3.9.13 is the latest as far as i know) and see if it is any good.
I see that MIUI isn't very popular here as it is on the Gnex forums or other devices such as sony and samsung forums.
What do you guys think about it - Good or bad ? please state why
Used it, was good but definitely not as slick and fast as stock. Also the recent task manager makes your widgets freeze I'd you clear all.

Sent from my Nexus⁴ running franco's kernel (AOSP)
i'm using MIUI for 2 hours a week ago, but i flash a stock ROM back, because some reason:

UI is great.. no chance for stock ROM to beat this up..
Theming.. you can find a ton of theming on the MIUI Theme (or whatever is called)
smooth..
the -
some theme isn't free, you have to pay some theme with MiCredit(What is this? how does it works?)
i don't know why, the gallery won't load any of my pic, this problem i have never find in stock ROM..
too many crap apps that you don't need, i don't know what name of that's apps because it's written with a chinese word..
so i decided to revert back to ultimate stock ROM..
Looking forward for their new work with Hugo Barra - Other than that, they have always been an iOS-Wanna-Be to me, even though they have nice features - Just another experience built on top of Android
They are trying to create their own Android experience. I tried it for a week and return to cm10.1. The reason is because it uses more ram tham cm when i cleared everything. Im not very font of having all apps in my homepage...and the animations make everything slow down a bit. Besides this i like it very much. Waiting for offical rom...

I just reverted to stock also. I did not experience lag at all, but the overall experience was slow. Ios and EVEN Ubuntu touch feels faster and snappier that that.
I use MIUI as my daily driver and I've got to say it is AMAZING!
BTW to get the Gallery and other devices to recognize your SD data you need a media scanner app
I use the Trinity Kernel and it rocks with great performance and battery life that fits my needs :3
I don't OC the CPU on this Kernel but I do have the GPU OC'd to 480 MHz
All in all it may not be stock android
But its worth a try :3

Why this is not popular here? Cuz there is no official rom for n4. All the versions you see here are ports. Miui experience is thus not the best, but its not too bad. Personally i am hooked to more features like pie and halo etc thus making miui a little less attractive.
What about the Miui roms you see on miui.com and xiaomi.eu/, are there any differences? Both are 3.9.13 and JB...

It's a great rom I'm till using it and love it. I mean it doesn't have that buttery smooth scrolling as the stock vanilla, but it's barley noticeable . Thanks goes to Datsun.510 for porting this rom onto the nexus 4
Looks pretty sweet...I've used the v5 theme, but the experience itself looks compelling, as do the themes:
http://en.miui.com/features.php
Not a big fan of MIUI, kinda reminds me of iOS.
The themes look nice tho but I rather stick to the vanilla android like experience.

Not the best rom out there. Then again that very sentence is subjective. I prefer a less skinned aosp type of rom.
looks good but it works bad in my opinion and since i'm not a big fan of chinese mobile, no offence but let's stick with the identity of pure google! :cyclops:
I fell in love with miui with my Galaxy SL i9003 then with my xperia arc s lt18i and now with my nexus, where battery life, interface and smoothness is incredible... Now I am not using it, but I allways come back
Ehhhhh its OK pretty simple and elegant but it has negatives also...in my opinion its mainly extra useless apps and no app drawer
