If you want to see how much I've made check my signature and find my website or look in all my projects post inside XDA .

Credits goes to Sony, olokos, DooMLoRD, Rizal Lovins, dipesh1502, rovo89, Tungstwenty , . Also, special thanks to my Tester HussainQ for his outstanding and fast review and help with creating instructions for Locked Bootloader users .
'Perfection' is single project for Xperia Z2, as I don't have much enough time to create many ROMs like years ago. I can't confirm I will develop something more and something new, but I can promise you won't be dissapointed after you flash this one .
DiXperia 'Perfection' is my ROM based on official Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat.
Most of features are written below, so start reading this big thread! Hope you still want do that, and use my ROM :fingers-crossed:.
Based on KK 4.4.2 with firmware .314, with Sony Xperia apps and framework (4.4.4 android version changed just for fun if somebody like to have something "special" - still, it's an improvement compared to clean stock ).
Create Yourself ™ - my own idea. You've seen this in all DiXperias - it's something like "you choose stuff and version you like, and if you need something, you just apply this like extra file. No need to delete tons of apps you don't using and won't" - it's simple, fast, and has potential .
Playstation Certificate and Dualshock 3/4 connection.
Prebuilded DooMLoRD's CWM Recovery as boot.img inside package.
Xposed Installer + package with some modules which I think are very good and useful (of course credits for each module goes to his maker, not me ).
Sony apps like Walkman, Movies, Album.
Changing music via lockscreen.
Xperia swype keyboard.
30 volume steps, stereo sound in headphones and speakers.
Patched services.jar with signature check.
Dockbar icons changed.
No data icon after turning it off.
init.d and build.prop changes, also battery lifetime increased.
Scripts, tricks, tweaks - they promise lot of fun, lot of performance and lot of stability ^^.
I think it's enough but you know it's not everything - I'm sure I missed a lot of features, but it's up to you to test it yourself if you really want to using this ROM.
Just come and get it in second post .
Of course Root + Busybox.
Deodex and bootloader unlocked.
CWM Recovery (I've tested applying CWM (root, bootloader etc. also) on firmware .55, then aplied .314 and no problems after jump)
Download ROM (+ optional addons) and put it on your SD Card.
Go to CWM Recovery and make Full Wipe and Wipe Cache, then clean your Dalvik.
Choose .zip to flash and select my ROM. Wait...
Apply root updater.
Done! Reboot .
Feel free to use it!
note for D6502 users --> just check here and here
==> Important <==
Don't want make mess here, so just go and read Suggestions, cause there are some nice advices to get DXP working like it should (we need change some settings after flashing and booting ROM ).
And bugs are in 3rd post .
Golden-Suggestion -> If you like my work and you are using it right now, please glorify it on your signature with this graphic:
And:
- Don't use any backup! (it doesn't mean you must delete yours, but be sure that it can create some problems. If you replace backup and everything is cool - that's cool! )
- After flash my system give it 1 day for better stability and the second one for applicate all scripts/tweaks/tricks.
- Use Xposed if you want some extra-features.
- Simple, but no one understand it. If you want to have better battery life just decrase brightness.
- In my opinion, smartassV2 or interactiveX (choose yourself) gives awesome stability and performance .
- Remember to turning off unused things like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Tethering and so on.

Hi
Well hello, my pleasure .
Download?
Welcome here man and thanks for your work! I'll try your rom very soon!
Sent from my D6503 using XDA Free mobile app
Jhon998, download will be ready max in one week, as I stated in first post . For last few days I was making all ready, but not all yet . Be patient!
Alexkidd85, Thank you kindly! Hopefully it will pass you requirements .
Welcome Back DikeJ!
Nice to see you again.
Loved your work with the Xperia Play.
Hope you do just an awesome job here!
Thank you my friend! As I said from thousand of years - all DiXperia projects are preety same compared to main experience . I think you won't forget good time with Xperia Play -Perfection on Z2 won't let you!
You should update the topic with coming soon or something suitable. I read the full OP only to realise nothing is here yet.
You're reading my mind and thanks for advice .

Wellcome on board. Hope no bug also try your rom and respond my opinion to improve and enhance

I have a locked bootloader. Does this rom make changes to kernel? Also any chance on having lock bootloader version? Thanks and welcome to Z2 forum.
can you make this rom for locked bootloader too... would love to try out this rom when released...
harrynghiem, surely will wait for any advices after thread and ROM will be ready .
crazynewfie, this ROM has prebuilded DooMLoRD's CWM Recovery which I think required UBL so the best option is to make root & bootloader unlock and not brick or destroy your device or microwave oven .
harshad_kp, after relase I will think of it .
First off all...Hi and welcome to our little family
I'm pretty sure placeholders aren't allowed but if you talked to moderators I'm sure it's OK...
Just wanted to suggest that and I see now, some guys already said it.
If this ROM is based on stock 314 fw, there's absolutely no reason it couldn't work on locked bootloader.
You just have to remove recovery from it and remove boot.img (kernel) from zip.
Procedure for flashing on LB (after that) would be :
1. Flash 314 as a base.
2. Root it and flash/install recovery
3. Go to recovery and flash this ROM
4. DON'T RESTART, go back and flash stock kernel using flashtool.
Also, you could build prerooted ROM for LB, like others dev did..
That will, surely, make this ROM more popular because everyone could use it.

T.E.A.M. Stock Rom for 2011 Xperia devices
(Arc, Arc S, Ray, Active, Play, Neo, Neo V, Pro)
pvyParts and iridaki
Proudly Present you
T.E.A.M. Stock Rom
A Rom for the Community By the Community!
YOU MUST Read this Post FULLY Before you Post any Questions!
First of all, hello 2011 Xperia Devices World!
We are coming from a galaxy far far away, where and when the X10 was a flagship!
We created the T.E.A.M ROM for the X10 and now we are taking the first step towards porting it to the next generation of devices.
The new TEAM ROM will be universal across the following devices:
1. Xperia Arc
2. Xperia Arc S
3. Xperia Active
4. Xperia Ray
5. Xperia Play
6. Xperia Neo
7. Xperia Neo V

( Devices with smaller screen resolution, such as Mini and Mini Pro will follow later on we didn't forget you! )
How we did that?
We have developed a Auto-Magic installation script that will work on any Xperia device by customising system files appropriately during flashing.
Some of the many new and unique features of the upcoming TEAM ROM:
1. Quick sound profiles integrated into the ROM -forget any 3rd party apps, now it's all accessible from the power menu
2. Brightness toggle control with a neat popup you can bring up any time from your statusbar
3. TEAM Tweaks (customise your clock/date/battery/signal text color/size/font, integrated battery bar)
4. Transparency everywhere you look!
5. Elegant TEAM theme
6. New Clock and Calendar from leaked Xperia S GB ROM
7. Tweaks for ambient sensor, minfree and more
8. Enhanced power menu with reboot options: Reboot, Reboot in Recovery, Reboot in Fastboot. If you choose the latter, you will be prompted to insert your USB cable and the procedure will complete only after you have! As convenient as it gets
9. Compatible with any 2.3.4 ROM, any kernel, any current setup. It will not wipe your data or intefere with the way you have been using the phone so far. It will only make it MUCH better
We are introducing the "ROM/AddOn" concept and we are looking forward to your feedback.
ROM/AddOn means:
* One Zip all Phones! with some Scripting magic we can keep all devices updated with a single zip.
And last but not least, don't forget we have great things in store for all of you:
* Full AppMan Support with 100% OTA Capable, Auto-Magicaly Flashed updates (comming soon)
HOW TO INSTALL:
REQUIREMENTS
HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY BEFORE STARTING!
You must also me on a 2.3.4 Stock Firmware
( This is not a Stock based ROM, it is a Sony Stock Firmware )
You will also need Root and CWM
This will work on either Locked or unlocked bootlaoders that meat the above requiments
NO DATA WILL BE WIPED DURING INSTALLATION!
1. Boot into Recovery and make a NANDROID BACKUP ( This is really IMPORTANT, as we can't recover your data! If the fan gets soiled )
2. Flash the "TEAM_ROM_v0001_HDPI.zip" via Recovery.
3. Reboot and let the phone do it's thing as it will be rebuilding caches and settling.
First boot can take up to 10 minutes so be patient!
If you want to use your own custom Clock font:
1. You should place your custom font in folder /system/TEAM/font and it should be a .ttf file named clock_font.ttf.
2. Go to Settings > Tweaks and check the option Custom Font for whatever element you wish (clock, battery, signal, date).
You can now also tweak the text size to your liking!!

Q & A
Q: Where is AppMan?
A: AppMan will suffer a full rewrite and will be ready for a future update!
Q: Can I use this or that kernel for unlock or locked bootloader?
A: ALL kernels built for stock ROMs WILL WORK on this rom. We have tested all of them so take our word for it. ( yes we are flash junkies )
Q: Can I use this or that theme?
A: Short answer, no. Unless of course it is built of our framework. We have made MASSIVE mods to the framework so most themes will disable most, if not all, options in the Tweaks app.
( unfortunatly themers dont like our framework as it changes too often )
Q: I am getting a FC on this or that, can you help me!
A: NO. We can't help you. Because what you just said means nothing to us.
We want to help you SO much, but in order to do that you need to report the bug properly.
We took care of that too, see here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18195325
Q: OMG YOU STOLE MY WORK! YOU [email protected]#$!% etc etc etc
A: We kindly ask you that if you have an issue with any of the inclusions in the ROM to either PM me or iridaki so we can sort it out politely There is no need to flame in the thread. Also if we have forgotten credits, please let us know and we will add them immediately.
Q: This rom is stupid, I hope you fail, "that" ROM is better!
A: That's cool, use "that" ROM. There is absolutely no need to report your disgust unless of course you have constructive criticsm. Personal Preference isn't a bug or an issue
We encourage EVERYONE to use the ROM they feel is best for them
Q: wow this is cool can i...
A: HOLD UP read our rules
1- no whining about our work
2- no asking for eta's
3- no asking for eta's
4- no useless posts in development thread
5- logcat or GTFO
6- no asking for eta's

Good work Team ROM, Love the Animations and the Theme ..Fantastic
Tested on Xperia Ray.. Flashed on Top of 2.3.4 on FW .62 with Aier's Stock Kernel...
Flashing took about 20 secs and firmware booted in less than 2 mins on first boot...
Just a Few Misalignments in Widgets and Application Manager Lists...\\Attaching Screen Shots..
Note:
1)the Contacts Widgets are not aligned (I had to flash my Modded Home.apk which luckily works good on it and that fixes it)..and
2)the Size of the apps in the Applications list is partially hidden...
Hope to get a fix soon.. All other things so far working good..
Good job team

Been waiting for this for a long long time. THANKS GUYS
As expected for a beta release, this one is quite buggy and many settings don't work or crash when selected. This said, I am still very hyped to see the TEAM-Rom for our Arc! Thank you so much!
I know there are many things to do first, by I would still like to make a feature request: The one feature of CyanogenMod I really miss on all stock roms is to skip a running music track by long pressing the volume buttons while the screen is off. If it is possible to include this in TEAM, please consider to do so!
Sorry Sir and Madam of developers, is it possible to have stock Home button instead of SE-ball logo? I like the feel of the stock somehow.
I tried the Beta-ROM all day and it is very good for LT15i and super good tweaks etc.
Thank you very much for your ROM.

We are aware of that issue with SE Widgets, it's because we made the grid of the launcher 5x4 instead of 4x4 (don't you just hate wasted screen estate? )
Widgets will be fixed separately to fit the new grid for the final release within the next days!

Yes of course, it will be changed, this was just some tests I've been doing trying to find a good app drawer icon, got fed up and desaturated the purple one I use.
We will include a much better one for final V1.
I have played with this now for a little while on my ArcS and it looks good, feels good and acts good concidering it's in beta state. A few small glitches ofcourse, but what the heck, it's beta.
tried to tweak number of homescreens and rows of homescreen. None of them seemed to work.
I also get an GMail update from Market, but when I try to apply it I only get an error. Something about incompatible.
I solved it by uninstall GMail and restored it with TitaniumBackup from an older backup.
Thanx for a great looking rom.

We have a transparent themed Gmail in TEAM, but it is version 2.5.3 and the latest one is I thin 2.5.3.2.
Since it was edited, it was signed with our keys so the original app from the Market signed by Google fails to replace it.
We will port the theme to the latest version for the final release.
If you want to keep the themed app, deactivate auto-updates on the Market for Gmail, it should stop nagging.
This means the only Xperia Phones that u arent supporting are the xperia x8, the xperia x10 mini and mini pro.
What a pitty
I like this ROM very much and at the end of the month when I get my salary I will donate a small money to iridaki, cause this ROM makes my phone very happy.
My LT15i is like new again.
this is awesome, very nice!
Theming ROM right
This ROM is only for theming and customizing it doesn't has tweaks to improve the performance .right?
I applied it on top of acroniom and now testing
I will give you the result later
Hi .
Today we release an Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) beta ROM, as a follow up to the previously released ICS alpha ROM.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJbDl8aikUk
In line with our goal to support the open XDA developer community, we want to give you the chance to try out our coming upgrade to ICS (Android™ 4.0) in this beta version. While the ICS alpha ROM was an early preview, the ICS beta ROM have passed some certifications such as Modem type approval.
As with the alpha release you should have an unlocked boot loader http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com, and have the knowledge to switch between different ROMs.
Find the links to download the packages at Developer World.
Again we appreciate your feedback on the beta ROM in this small survey. Some of the improvements in the Beta release compared to the alpha release:
• Updated UI
• Updated Widget picker
• Lockscreen
• Connectivity turned on
• Updated email client
• Added quick dial
Lastly, we do follow the comments and new threads posted at XDA and we will very shortly release the open source archives for custom ROM community. I know the FreeXperia team working on CyanogenMod have made lot’s of progress on their custom ICS ROM and we try to support the team within the frames that we are allowed to operate.

ok so i dont have much time so will make this quick...
if u are on any Xperia 2011 device other than ARC S, RAY, NEO V then DO NOT FLASH THIS... cross flashing is NOT recommended... wait for the devs of ur devices to port it and provide update.zips for easy flashing
make sure that u are on stock .42 firmware (though .58/.62 may also work)
the ZIP file provided by SE/Sony CANNOT BE FLASHED VIA RECOVERY!!!! extract its contents and read on how to individually flash each file
after individually flashing each file reboot device (fastboot reboot), wait for boot up and then power off device; then hotboot (fastboot boot boot.img) any kernel for UR DEVICE which has recovery ,e.g. latest CM9 kernel, remember HOTBOOT IT; DO NOT FLASH IT DIRECTLY... once device starts booting enter recovery and flash the packages u want (GAPPS, wifi/bt enabler, Superuser Fix)... after that reboot device... now u should be back on stock SE/Sony ICS Beta kernel and device should boot normally
those guys who were having gsm/keypad crashes on leaked ROM check if gsm/keypad works correctly on this build
i will keep monitoring this thread and provide inputs when i can

@SE/Sony Devs
why is the Xperia Play being left out always?
how do u expect ppl to get those devices if the vendor themselves dont support it... just releasing this ICS test roms ONLY for the "newest" phone models is not fair...
other devices should also be supported.... especially the totally different zeus board (R800i/R800a/R800x)...

to get FaceUnlock & Google Apps working, download the gapps-ics-20111230.zip file from the CM9 thread and hot boot (fastboot boot boot.img) any of my kernels/other kernels which have recovery and flash the gapps via recovery.... FaceUnlock should now work
regarding wifi/BT...
first try Bin4ry build.prop fix (just add two lines in build.prop) to get this working...
if that doesnt work check if the wifi modules (.ko) are there in /system/lib/modules/ also verify that the init.rc or init.semc.rc has the code to insert the modules at startup/bootup (insmod)
i am busy at the moment so dont have time to test this out

Thx a lot ! so Screenshots and Pictures made on the internal SD card are(might be!) safe. thx.
P.S Backup of current ROM is for *******! Google Backup saves the Contacts, and all eles is unimportant xD
little warning guys: You must do a full wipe if you planning to go back to 4.3 ROMs So do backups before flashing this
Quick Feedback on ROM:
As DoomLords mentioned it's bit laggy specially when you pulling down status bar drop down menu.
Nothing really special compares to custom ROM such as eXistenZ which already implemented most of the UI changes. But if you coming from a stock ROM you will notice the changes.
Camera quality in superio auto in low light still looks the same.
Oh the joy of having an unlocked bootloader
Sent from my C6603 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
is this laggy as hell like when playing an online game with ping = 2000 ms
or it can be lived with ?
Running this right now on my Xperia Z UK Generic with no problems apart from a bit of flickering just before the 'Xperia' logo on boot. The rom itself seems to run smoothly! It has working 4.4 transparency on Nova Launcher which did not work on 4.3 but did on 4.2 and many other 4.3 bugs have been patched...its looking really promising
Thank you for this demo version @DooMLoRD I can't wait for release

Simple Battery Saving Tips:
1. Always, be sure u made a clean install of whichever ROM u installed.
2. Once after installing a ROM, let it settle.
3. Debloat appropriately, you don't want to mess with the system stability by removing the necessary apk's.
4. Use Auto Brightness along with keeping the brightness bar to least value.
5. Use Underclocking and Undervolting for more battery backup, but do read a lot before u do it. Coz improper settings with them(ex: Dealing with voltages), can screw up the h/w.
6. Turn Auto-Sync OFF. Saves a lot of juice.
7. Switch off Data/Wifi when u don't use them.
8. Using Custom kernels will increase battery backup. U can choose custom governors and i/o schedulers and such. I suggest using intelliactive governor and sio scheduler for best results.
9. I personally wouldn't suggest using Greenify, because it does what our Sony Xperia's Stamina Mode does. And Stamina mode works better in my opinion. Still, u could give it a try freezing apps which u don't need.
10. Use Amplify(Xposed Module) to reduce Google Play Services drain, this helps a lot on any phone with 4.4.2 and above.
11. Restart your phone atleast once in 3 days, therefore old processes are stopped while shutting down.
12. Don't use any RAM/Cache cleaner or Battery saving apps.
Battery Caliberation:
1. Charge your device to 100%. Use it till it turns OFF. (Do this for 3-5 charge cycles and u will notice the difference).
Most of these steps work on non rooted devices too.. Except u have to disable apps in Settings instead of removing the apk's like with rooted users. Anyways u guys can provide me with feedbacks after u followed these steps. Hope u benefited from this.

I followed the steps mentioned in the op.
After flashing, the boot animations starts (the blue one) but after that it always restarts.
I am on unlocked bootloader if it matters.

Google Contacts Sync is removed, since most of the users won't use much Gapps like Contacts Sync, Google+, etc(They tend to remove it as they see it as bloatware).. If users need it back, i will put it back in v2).. For now, u can try getting the apk and push it and set perms..

What you could do is restore your TA backup or just use the DRM FIX ZIP! I lost my drm keys , SO I use the fix!
If the quality is as good as when you had your bootloader locked then there is no need to do anything else! But I would restore the TA backup (may lock your bootloader)If you're going to restore your TA backup then you may want to also flash the stock kernel to prevent bootloops! (Locked Bootloaders will fail to boot with custom kernels!)

Mohamed

I am not entirely sure but, maybe flashing the patch from @niaboc79's thread should work, backup, test it for me and report back!
