You can. You just have to take the stuff you want out of the optional aroma install folders and place them in the corresponding /system folders such as /system/app. Then you have to edit the stuff in the meta-inf folder or, easier, replace the meta-inf folder with one from a non-aroma based rom, then just flash as normal."

You might have to Kies back to stock and start over again.

I first downloaded as is, and tried to install using the rom and it did freeze on install. I pulled the battery and then was able to get into safestrap with out a hitch. I tried again by replacing the meta file from another rom on this board and installed this just fine. I had to enter apn info. Also a bit of (IMHO) bloat which I removed with titanium, but that's just me.
First impression is that it is very stable and quick. Thank you!

[ROM][I9100G][GB][XWLC2][15-04-2012]SuperROM v3.1..THE LAST ONE

For activating Black Browser: (only for v1.0, v1.1 and v2.0)
Go to Settings->Wireless and network->Mobile network settings -> Access point names.
In the existing name of your 3G network, you need to set two things.
proxy = localhost
port = 8118
and reboot. Check the browser now

Yes it has. I have provided support in my kernel too.
So just put your scripts in /system/etc/init.d folder and reboot

I've been using juffo ROM for a while and what I saw was Farsi support with a bunch of letters missed from alphabet.
another issue also I had with Stock firmware and also juffo Rom :
Android OS battery usage : 54%
Display usage : 15%
the rest of stuff each below : 10%
Well this is awkward. even I was playing NFS for a long time just 8% but android OS always > 50%

the android OS battery usage is more like a bug, i am not sure which method i used to get rid of that.
basically i followed one of the thread in xda, saying that from CWM, must do factory wipe and cache wipe, maybe dalvik too. but i've also uninstalled most of the default samsung apps, like all HUB apps.
So i am not sure which solution actually work here in this case. but right now android os usage is only 5% for me after one whole day

.... You Get The Picture! I do not want to hear about if I'm going to add this or that. If you want SHealth then this is not the ROM for you (unless you can find a zip or a way to side load it.) There are stock options with all the bloat you want!

Working:
- Just About Everything!
- Location Bug Squashed (It will now stick without having to reboot device. If for some reason it wont stick, try a reboot and it should work.)

-Most FCs you find will be from features removed, head to apps folder and follow the Google Doc to install missing features.
Not Working:
- To Set Wallpaper, You Can Long Press Home Screen or Set From Gallery (I removed native wallpaper picker so it wont work through settings)

Install Instructions:
1: Download ROM from link below.
2: Download SuperSU.zip from HERE.
3: Place ROM and SuperSU.zip on External SD Card (Or you should be able to use internal)
3.5: (Optional) Move/Copy stock apps from the download link to /system/app.
4: Boot in Recovery, make a backup if you want to be on the safe side.
5: In SafeStrap Recovery, use Stock Slot and Wipe (Standard wipe should work)
6: Flash the ROM.zip and then flash the SuperSU.zip immediately after.
7: Reboot System and ENJOY
I am not responsible for your phone if something goes wrong during flashing of the ROM. I can assure you both ODEX and DeOdex versions were tested on MY OWN retail Verizon S5 @raynan 's AT&T retail S5 and everything worked the way it should!

1: Look up the thread in att forums for the zip.. will post by tom.. currently with fam but the vzw toggle will break
2: Go into SafeStrap Recovery and flash the file you downloaded. This will add the Download Booster Toggle to the Quick Tiles so you can enable Download Booster! Thanks go to MrHyde03 for making the flashable toggle.zip!
3: It does say NCG (Verizon Variant) but should also work for AT&T as the files used for download booster are identical.
Viper4Audio
1: It is already installed on the ROM as well as the build.prop has been edited.
2: Open Viper APK and install the drivers for it (it is easy and choose the settings you want.)
3: After the reboot, go into Settings>Sound>Music Effects and make sure Viper is selected. #Win

It does NOT work.. I removed it as bloat lmao.. But you shouldn't need it.. On my VZW S5 with this bad boy I pulled over 5.5 hours screen on time and just about 24hrs and still had 25-30% battery remaining before I plugged it in. This was with 4g/wifi, few calls, heavy web browsing, heave xda app, heavy gaming etc. for over 5.5 hours and still had battery remaining. The phone will use less resources with over 1gb of crap removed as well as you will have more storage space and more than 1gb of system ram (unless you install a bunch of apps back onto the phone.)

I pm'd you rather than commenting lol excited for another new ROM but I can test for you if you'd like.

i have about 5 or so people testing now so soon as they get back to me ill know whats up n post it if all is well!

I am not sure.. Out of the box No.. Lol.. But that is because i removed the gear manager files. However, I had a request in the VZW forum. I am not sure if this will flash the recovery (wont hurt to try it) but here is a (i hope to work) flashable zip to replace the gearmanager files: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358557793
If it won't flash, you can extra it and the files go in System/App - then I would assume set permissions and you should be good to go.

yea.. touch wiz launcher was removed.. and goal is to remove not add lol. changing dpi can cause too many issues.. i will get some screen up.. they are ftom vzw but same rom

As long as you back them up and restore them, you should be good to go. You can also look around for the apk and push it.

When you say stock email. Do you mean corporate email or gmail? I want to flash this but cant lose my work email whatsoever .

i see you're to do list says update base to ng2 international. i was under the assumption that you need to be able to flash the new bootloader to get ng2 to work. or is that wrong?
EDIT: just want to update. i installed rom only of ng2 international version and it does indeed work. it's not dependent on the newer bootloader like some people in the international forum are saying.

Where is the Usage Manager apk located? They are on other ROMs but supposedly on yours.

The actual apk file is devicehealth.apk but the usage manager icons are located on the second home screen in the AT&T folder and also in the app drawer.

I've had mixed results with ng1 working, I'll see if I can get ng2 going without a new bl. I haven't made it my biggest priority as I injured my wrist recently and computer time has been limited.

thanks. the install went fine and everything is working in the rom except for wifi. and that is because i guess i need to update the modem to the ng2 modem. but since we have at&t version there's no possible way to do that. network and network data are working fine. so the only drawback i see with updating to the ng2 version is wifi issue.

WiFi issues is on current release? ?.

Future development is uncertain as I found out over the weekend that I'm going to be a dad again with my wife of 11 years. I'll try to find the time to do what I can as we can never have enough Roms to choose from.

Becasue samsung remove all non -Us languages...
Because of this even Morelocal2 ... wont work.
So there is a rom for only US- devcies the base on Europe or Asia ROM
(becase it has languages hidden and morelocal2 can show it up) ?

i being told to de-compile apk and see if there is (values-iw).
even this sould be good to know if there is lang i need framework-res.apk or settings.apk or sec.settings.apk.
if not i being told de-compile every app on this devices(US devices) copy all the lines with the IW in it to every apk in this/orginal roms

Please don't quote the whole OP, you can directly ask any queries without quoting the entire op, please edit ur post..
Yes, Asus keyboard can be downloaded from play store.
Nano gapps might not be possible to flash due to less space in "system" partition, and i won't recommend u to flash since i odexed the gapps apks, u can manually install other Google apps from play store.
Signal loss, that's what the main reason for me which made me roll back to kitkat....i don't think it shud happen in kk.

Backup ur data partition in twrp, wipe all the partitions in recovery, REBOOT RECOVERY AGAIN (else u will get errors during flash), then flash my rom, after flashing restore the data partition and reboot to system...
If u face any issues with it, then try clean flashing only ,else u are good to go

Temporary workarounds:-
1.Go to /system/priv-app, tap on gallery.apk and install it, it will fix the fc issue
2.Go to /system/priv-app, delete gallery.apk and gallery.odex, reboot and then manually download asus gallery from play store...
Issue is fixed in the upcoming update, I'll update the rom once i will get some time.

I fixed the gallery FC in this update and also included ASUSBackup into system/app so as to detect installed apps also...
Let me know which apps are u talking abt IN PM.

INSTALLATION FOR NOUGAT CUSTOM ROM USER:
1.If you already with some Custom Nougat Rom, just dowload my Rom and flash it in recovery selecting full wipe in aroma and enjoy
INSTALLATION FOR NOUGAT STOCK FIRMWARE USER:
1.Download Rom, and TWRP Recovery for your variant
2.Reboot in Download Mode and flash with Odin Twrp Recovery
3.Reboot in Recovery and Format Data (this remove all your data), plug usb cable and copy the Rom in External SDCARD
4..In Recovery flash the ROM from external SDCARD and Follow AROMA Installer menu selecting Full Wipe
5.Reboot and Enjoy King OF NOUGAT ROM

WHAT I NEED TO INSTALL THE ROM?
You need Latest recovery installed, latest bootloader on your phone and Samsung encription disabled in /Data partition
HOW TO DISABLE ENCRIPTION?
Reboot in recovery then click on "WIPE" and "Format data" and type "yes" this will erase all of your data
HOW TO INSTALL THE ROM?
Just put the rom in sdcard or extsdcard and flash with recovery selecting full wipe
WHATS THE BEST CHOOSE IN AROMA?
In aroma I have select the best mod, just select your variant, the kernel and type of root
I NEED TO DO SOME WIPE?
Yes, When I release a new rom Its really recommended to do fully wipe for aroma (system+data+cache+dalvik cache)
WHY ONLY FEW CSC?
For make smallest rom I have add only few csc but you can download the CSC_Vx.zip for other CSC compatible with my rom

In aroma you have install stock SystemUI and the mod can't work, just reflash the rom choosing modded SystemUI

Just write in this post the bug in details, and add rom version, your kernel (stock or custom and version), and other mod if you have add it
AFTER INSTALL THE ROM A LOT OF APP NOT APPEAR OF NOT WORK
If you have install the rom with right method (fully wiped) maybe you have choose too much app in debloat menu in Aroma, just reflash the rom without choose any app in aroma debloat menu and try if this fix your bug
ITS SAFELY TO REMOVE SOME APPS IN AROMA DEBLOAT MENU?
YES, in aroma you can remove all the app but some service can't work anymore, so just remove the app that you are sure to remove
CAN I FREEZE SOME APP WITH TITANIUM BACKUP?
NO, the app that are safe to remove are inside Aroma debloat menu, so don't freeze other app
