[Q] Can't boot, can't access recovery - Samsung Galaxy Mini

...can access download mode.
So,
I downloaded cyanogenmod 11, but I kept getting com.android.systemui has stopped EVERY 2-3 seconds. I couldn't do anything.
So, I downloaded stock rom, but phone won't boot (samsung logo, mini 2 logo, vibrating at samsung animation and repeat) and I couldn't access recovery mode.
I tried other roms and Recovery PDA
... well, stuck on fat.bin.
After that, it got...weirder. When trying to boot, I got samsung logo, mini 2 logo...but no animation. Instead, just vibrating. No loop. Just vibrating.
I'm aware I lost this mobile, but I can't buy new right now

so much replies here...so many ways to fix...thank you so much... :silly:

I am hopeless in this issue to but....
I think that the last chance for us is a ROM which we can flash directly through odin.
It could work but I could not find any. Could any one have a rom to flash through odin?

install samsung driver and flash with odin3

you should flash your phone this is the
instructions
download odin3 https://www.copy.com/s/
qmTqyZFweDIj/Odin3_v3.09.zip
samsung driver for s6500
downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/
SW/201401/20140121132354500/
SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.33.0.exe
frimware for s6500
fileparadox.com/0bi6jri969ai/
S6500DBGMK1_S6500DXECML1_XEC_.zip
install samsung drivers and
Download firmware from the above list
and extract the zip file, you should get
.tar.md5 file along with few other files.
2. Download Odin v3.09 and extract the zip
file, you should get Odin v3.09.exe file
along with other files.
3. Now Open/Run Odin v3.09.exe file as an
administrator (to open program with
admin privilege, right click on the Odin
v3.09.exe file and click on the “Run as
administrator” from the context menu, this
is applicable only on Windows Vista,
Windows 7 or higher PC)
4. Switch off and boot Galaxy Mini 2 S6500
into Download Mode by pressing and
holding the Volume Down+Home+Power
buttons together (long press until the
boot screen appear). A warning message
will flash, now press Volume Up key to
proceed to Download Mode .
5. Now connect your Galaxy Mini 2 S6500 to
your PC via USB cable
6. In Odin screen, you should see a COM
Port number like “0:[COM7]” at ID:COM
section and “Added!” text at the message
box. This means your device has been
successfully detected by Odin. (If not, then
try connecting through another USB port.
If you are using desktop PC, use USB port
located at the back of the CPU. If still
don’t work, then you should reinstall the
USB driver and try again)
7. Make sure that, only the “Auto Reboot”
and “F. Reset Time” options are checked
in Odin screen.
8. Now, click on the AP button and select
the .tar.md5 file that you get by
extracting the firmware zip file in step 1.
9. Now, click on the Start button to begin
the installation process, and wait few
moments.
10. Once completed, you would see “PASS!”
message in ID:COM port having green
background
11. Your phone should automatically reboot
after completion
12. You can now disconnect/unplug your
phone from computer

[Q] Galaxy Ace S5830C - cant acess download mode

I read some tutorials here in the forum on how to root your phone! I was able to successfully perform. Until that point, my phone was still booting android 2.3.3 (ginger) that came from the factory.
Then I went into recovery mode and installed 5.0.2.6 ClockworkMod! Installed successfully too! Then I tried to install some roms modified for the S5830I, as read on the internet that the roms of them are compatible with the S5830C.
I tried the first version of the ICS lite and basic, the two images, when installed by clockwork gave no error messages in the terminal, but when you restart the machine could not boot the system.
I installed and booted each version of the ICS modificias separately. I tried other roms. gave some errors "gep.prop" because of non-compatibility with my model. In the end, tried to use the method with ODIN, but my phone can not boot the mod download! Yes, I tried all the tutorials!
I know I need to press the home button, power, volume down (...) I tried to use the ADB "adb reboot download", and also got no answer!! So ODIN does not detect my phone! Percebir also that the recovery mode always resets to a version e3 (I think it is the factory default recory) with this recovery can not seem to wipe the cache or data.
Really broke my phone? Why the hell i can get a good status of installation with the roms but can not boot them?
It's a classic
Yes you did break your phone, unless you try this last trick:
take out your battery
wait until your phone is completly uncharged internally (an hour or so)
go to a hot place like a radiator or somthing like that
do the "download mode trick" with the battery still out
put the battery in while still holding the buttons
repeate if it doesnt work
when you get the downloadmode, you are a lucky person. the rest you seem to know how it works... simply flash a new rom
I hope it works!

[Q] Soft Brick issue

Hi,
First time working with a samsung phone, so im not very used to some samsung realted soft.
I'm doing a favor to a friend, he came to this problem where his phone woudnt boot up, He says one day he run out of battery and coudl never turn it on again.
when i turn it on, it gets stucked at boot image (first attached image), if i try to charge the battery image appears but with the loading logo (the loading logo is not moving), he told me that he also tried with another battery and the same appeared.
For what i've read there is a download mode besides recovery mode. I think i have no problem entering download mode (3rd pic), even though i don't know how to use it, pressing a button does nothing, and pluggin it to a pc (drivers installed it) seems the same.
So i wanted to enter recovery mode, and trying o factory reset it, but when i try to enter most of times nothing happens, the others i get weird screen like the one i attached.
I'm not pretty sure how to preceed now. The only thing that appears to be working is the download mode. If that's the case, how can i flahs the stock firmware on it?
Thanks for reading!

You would do the same thing as if it were custom firmware, goto http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/, and download the stock firmware compatible with the device
Enter the device in download mode and flash the stock firmware with Odin
Instructions by SamMobile self:
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.09
Extract Odin zip-file
Open Odin v3.09
Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minute

thanks for the reply, i think i might be doing something wrong, ODIN failed, i attach a screenshot, any idea?
I cannot tell much from the screenshot to be honest, all i can point at would be a newer version of Odin as the instructions told: [LINK TO ODIN 3.09]

Same error as before
im downloading some other firmwares to try, but i dont think there is the problem :s
I've been having this issue for months now. It does that exact thing. Try removing the SIM card and starting the phone as normal and see what happens. If it starts then, we have the exact problem. Mine works perfectly WITHOUT the SIM card but....what's a phone without a SIM card right? I've tried putting the Stock ROM on to no avail as well. I think my thread about this is still somewhere around but I doubt anyone managed to solve the problem either.
If you do work something out post it back. Sorry I couldn't be much help.

HELP! Bootloop, restart continuosly, and download mode can't detected on my PC

Hi there, i want to ask some help to you. This is very sucks for me, when i need to communicate with my family and my friends, my phone was had a probelm. First probelm is my phone was bootloop, it was booted just until "Samsung Galaxy S III Mini" logo. Second probelm, after that bootloop, my phone was restarted and go back again to boot logo, and then restart again and go back again to boot logo, again and again continuosly until my battery was drain down. And the last probelm, after i found that probelm then i try to flash my phone to newest version firmware, when my phone enter to download mode and try to connected to my PC, it not recognized with my PC, indeed there's no notification that the device is not recognized (normally if you connect the device to PC and not recognized, will show notification "USB Not Recognized"). I try to connect again on Windows 7 (My PC was dual-booted Windows 10 and Windows 7), there's no changed, still not recognize and not showing notification. And then, an hour ago before i posted this post, i try to connect and flashing in my friends PC, but still not recognized. I think there's no probelm with my USB cable, when i use to charging, it still working.
And then i really really really need your solution, PLEASE help me, i dont have much money to repair my phone because i just have IDR 10000 (converted to USD is just $0,95) and my guarantee is expired. Soon i will face the National Exam and i dont want lost my focus to that. I hope i can get the best solution quickly. Thanks for your attention, sorry for my badly english. :crying::crying:

just a little side note....where did u get windows 10.......good luck with the phone
Hi whith model s3mimi you have i8190x or 8200? If 8190 do that:
1.Download drivers and Odin from novafusion.pl/downloads, there is section s3mini->extras and heres Drivers and Odin.
Download stock rom from sammobile or samsung-firmware for your specific model and location.
2.Install drivers, next unzip to any location Odin and downloaded rom, but in the same place both.
3.Take out battery and put in the phone, then push Vol- Home Power buttons until you see Download mode, then clik Vol+ to enter it.
4.Open Odin and select PDA and find unpacked stock rom then connect phone to usb. Make sure that ONLY Auto Reboot*and*F.Reset Time are selected.
Your pc find drivers and Odin show to you in first box in left corner info about port:comX, nevermind what number of Com but you must see info about Com port. Its important.
5.Pull button Start and wait few minutes. On finish your phone restart, you dont need to disconnect from pc. Now wait 5-8min, in this time you see only logo samsung and thats all. After logo you see configuration panel and voila.
If not see configuration screen after 8min, pull out batt, put in, go to recovery by Vol+ Home Power Buttons and clean cache, next do factory reset. Now might be work, but after restart you still wait max 8min until see configuration screen.

S2 T810 Newbie tried to root new device, stuck at flashing Samsung logo

Hello!
I tried to root my new S2 T810 via the instructions in this youtube video: watch?v=tgrdq66P5Jk
Here's exactly what I did:
Step 1. Downloaded Odin and autoroot kernel file
Step 2. Installed Galaxy Tab S2 driver
Step 3. Extracted the Odin file.
Step 4. Booted Galaxy Tab S2 into download mode
Step 5. Pressed and held the three buttons Power + Home + Volume down together until I saw warning screen. Pressed Volume Up to continue to download mode.
Step 6. Double clicked on extracted file of Odin, Odin3.exe , opened the Odin window
Step 7. Connected your Galaxy Tab S2 to PC now using USB cable. Saw Odin: Added!! message
Step 8. Loaded the autoroot kernel file into Odin.
Step 9. Clicked start button In Odin, it said Pass!! ; red android with pirate eye came up, program ran, device tried to boot and now it's stuck at Samsung logo flashing....
Did I miss something? What can I do to fix this? Tried to factory reset and it did not work. Do I need to flash back to a factory file? If so.. where can I find this?
Samsung has an "Emergency Recovering" program. Google for it. I used it successfully.

[Q] Stuck in bootloop after trying to install a custom ROM, unable to detect the device through ADB/Fastboot [Solved]

Title says it all. But for those that want to know a bit more in detail about what's going on, I tried to install this custom ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-oneui-2-5-twrp-ncx-2-5-for-a71-sm-a715f.4174135/ Clearly I did something wrong (a bit more clarification in that guide would help people not used to rooting an Android device getting through that process easier), so now I want to go to square 1 by installing the stock ROM again. But the thing is, after installing multidisabler through TWRP, the phone is not permanently stuck into a bootloop and now I can't even go into safemode, nor download mode, and I can't enter the recovery mode, the only thing my phone is capable of doing is to restart by itself by holding the volume down and the power buttons at the same time, and now ADB nor Fastboot can't detect my device (the PC does a Samsung device being connected though, so it's not a hardbrick, I guess).
Samsung devices do not use Fastboot. You should restore through Odin instead.
Try the following:
1. Download Odin on your computer, you can get it from here. Extract it into a folder.
2. Download the firmware for your device. Find out your device model first and then look on http://samfw.com, I've downloaded from there a lot in the past, it works great.
3. Extract the firmware, you should get five files: AP, BL, CP, CSC, and HOME_CSC.
4. Make sure your device is powered off, and press power + volume down + bixby. You should be asked to confirm you want to enter download mode, press the volume up button.
5. Plug your device into the computer, then select the files for all the slots. Use CSC, not HOME_CSC for CSC (CSC is for fresh restore, HOME_CSC is for software update).
6. A device should show in the top bar, something like [COM:6]. This means your device is connected. If it isn't there, make sure your device is plugged in and in Download Mode.
7. Click flash. The firmware should start to flash and there should be a progress bar in Download Mode. Once it's finished your device should reboot into the system.

Well, trying to reflash everything through Odin has been a thing I tried to do, but how am I supposed to shutdown a phone that is stuck at the Samsung logo (is there any combination to shutdown a Samsung during the boot process?)? And even after that, how am I supposed to press "power + volume down + bixby" if both the power and bixby buttons are the same buttons?

I tried entering Download Mode hours ago, but to no avail. Even before flashing mutidisabler through TWRP (and thus, the phone was working), I had to use ADB in order to make my phone be able to enter Recovery Mode, since the combo for recovery and download mode just made my phone make a loud noise and restart my phone onto safe mode.
Ok, here's an update, apparently pressing those buttons, makes the screen have the same, but at least Odin recognizes the drive, but now I'm stuck at this error: "Complete(Write) operation failed."
Something's weird here, I'm 99.9% sure I did activate USB debugging for this phone, although that was just before wiping the entire drive before the phone got stuck in this loop.
Fixed. Many thanks to @hainguyenthao for helping me out ^^

I'm sorry to hear that you had trouble installing the ROM and I'm glad you were able to fix it.
I unfortunately can't see a way that I could make the tutorial on how to install the ROM any easier. I'm almost certain I covered all my bases going over the perquisites and how to install the ROM. I also have a Telegram group in that thread so that users can join if they are ever stuck in any of the steps so that either me or other users that have successfully installed the ROM can help people in doubt since I'm not available 100% of the time. If you ever decide to give it a try again, don't be shy, you can always join the group and request for help.
