Make sure you read and understand what you read before attempting to root your phone. If you mess something up you may potentially brick your phone.
Thanks

Hello, i want to go back to stock rom on my galaxy s5. I am not bricked or anything like that. Every tutorial i look at, it involves using odin, and i cannot do that. I am on the Extreme Debloat ATT V1 running 4.4.2 kitkat. I don't have a md5 file to flash yet because i do not want to download a wrong file and screw up my phone. I don't have a computer at the time, so is there any way i can just download the file straight from my phone and copy it to root and go to recovery and wipe the device and then flash? thank you!

You're using Safestrap I'm assuming? If so download then move zip to ex sd card then if I were you I'd make a backup just in case. After making backup wipe everything EXCEPT ex sd card then flash the zip from ex sd card and reboot. Please make sure you make a backup FIRST don't forget.

Problem.. I tried the first one you mentioned above, and when I tried to install it, it said it failed. So I had to use my backup again. Should I just try the second one now?

The second one requires copying files over. Idk which app can do that but it's best on a comp
The first S6 Edge roots are available from the repository: http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ !
Note that the stock kernel currently has an issue preventing the device from going into "deep sleep" if a custom recovery is flashed (which is what this does). A fix for this issue can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60383471&postcount=49. This fix will also work if you replace the recovery with for example TWRP.

Same issue here. I've tried all the "Odin" tricks.. different cables, different PCs, latest drivers, several reboots, different Odin versions, etc.... All the same, stuck on "NAND Write Start". Hoping for a fix soon.
Yes the sm-g925t is on the list
From looking at the other threads, specifically the non-edge S6 auto root thread, everyone is in the same boat. We just need to wait for Chainfire to update. Like an idiot, I accepted the out-of-the-box OTA although others are saying they are having the same issue without the OTA update.

mine is bricked. i tried to root and it wont get passed the first screen. cant even access recovery. i cant even get the phone to turn off
Damn I bricked mine too. Used Odin 3.10.6, got a successful flash but it won't get past the booting screen, won't shut off, can only really access Download Mode. Which I've tried using different suggestions but still failed to get it to boot up or put into recovery to complete the root process.

How did you get it to be successful flash? I tried ODIN 3.10.6 with the available CF-Auto_root and continue to get stuck at NANO WRITE! Of course i accepted the OTA right out of box also.
Wonder why we have different results of "same task"

I didn't actually take the OTA, because I wanted to be sure that I would be able to root the phone for sure without needing to wait too long for an update to the Auto Root Utility that would work with the newer version.

OMG! THAT'S IT!, IT WORKED!!! YOU SAVED MY STUPIDLY EXPENSIVE PHONE (and from some seriously painful beatings from the wife had she found out the $1100+ phone died).
Okay enough of my excitement. Thanks for the advice, and helping me revive my phone. I hope Chainfire updates his first page post to ensure other people don't accidentally semi-brick their phones.

I really ****ed up. I updated my phone to 5.1.1 and tried to root my s6 with CF-Auto Root by chainfire but it was for 5.0.2 and so I used that root for 5.1.1 and now its stuck when I restart it and says at the top left "Recovery Is Not Seandroid Enforcing." And is tuck on Samsung Galaxy S6 screen. I have also provided a picture. Hopefully someone can help me.
did you try smartswitch from your computer? other than that maybe odin the 5.1.1 official firmware, as of now as far as I know you can't flash anything else,, can you go to stock recovery and clear cache?
Just odin a stock 5.1.1 firmware. Root isn't supported yet on 5.1.1, you'll have to wait.
EDIT : get into download mode by holding volume down and home button while you start your device

Welp, Im in the same boat bud. Sucks lol. Bye bye 700 dollars
If you took the update - you cannot go back to 5.02 - if you tried and are stuck on the boot screen -then you will need to do Odin and flash the full stock 5.1.1 - then wait until they figure out how to get root back. As of right now, there are no other options - on either G920T or G925T.
But be patient - smarter people than me are saying we will eventally get root - the bootloader is not locked
Now it says "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING"
how can I go back?
Also, I tried rooting with Chainfire.
Go back you mean downgrade?

I updated to 5.1.1, then I tried re-rooting. I'm stuck now because it says the message. So I can't do a recovery?
BTW I'm not trying to downgrade back to 5.0.2, I tried rooting after updating, and so I just want to do a recovery because it doesn't work.

I tried rooting again with Chainfire after updating to 5.1.1 (huge mistake)
The phone is stuck on logo, with the error "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING".
I tried going into download mode, but that doesn't work anymore as it just goes back to the logo.
doing vol up + power + home button won't work either.
I want to get through this mess.
Maybe I'm wrong but isn't it volume down home and power?
