Custom boot animations for apex 2.3.3

I found a custom boot animation for the green bay packers but ill replace the bootanimation.zip with the new one then i reboot and it doesnt change the bootanimation anyone know how to do this with gingerbread???

wait for ApeX 6.2
Then rename your zip to sanim.zip and dump it in system/media folder

You wouldn't mind posting that Green Bay Packers boot animation for the rest of us CheeseHeads to enjoy, would ya?

[MOD] Droid razr boot animation. 11/22/11

I pulled this from the stock deodexed razr rom.
In system/media, rename Droidhd.oog to Droidhd.oog.Bak and bootanimations.zip to bootanimations.zip.bak
Paste these files here to system/media. Reboot and enjoy.

Boot animation

Hello.I would install Samsung s 4 Google edition boot animation. I've a stock Samsung Rom with root and co core 7.6. It's possible to change boot animation on my device??

Put s4's bootanimation zip in /system/media/here with permission rw-r-r and reboot.

I must delete bootsamsung.qmg??
And for shutdown boot??

No. No need to delete anything. Just add ur bootanimation.zip

can i use this instead of CWM ?? or it it all together something else ??

This recovery does not backup boot img and recovery img partition...rest all are working

Steps for setting boot animation:
Rename zip file to "boot animation.zip" and move the file to /system/media.
Set permissions to --- rwx r-x.
Reboot to see new animation! Enjoy**.
