It has been based over the famous rom Cr-Droid. This ROM will later on have its own UI, and stuff. For now, it is in a very initial stage.

Okay. First congrats for the new rom @rhar****
Gave a try this rom.
IMHO, this rom is a CM-11 derivative. No wonder, almost cm-11 features included in this rom, except Halo and Hover. Dalvik2cache works as it should be. Gapps and Google Play Services were installed and login to G server got no problem.
Known issues as in cm-11 remain, such as portable wifi hotspot and FM Radio.
In order to have enough space in /system, some apps were deleted and converted as user apps.
Suggestions:
1. Better develop roms based on CM and OMNI only. You may focus just on cm and omni, rather than various rom you developed as I noticed, PA, OMNI, Pixel and Acer. Waste your time, energy and resources. Sorry, bro
2. Halo and Hover features may be included in Jenkins' CM-11 , no need to built or develop new rom as ACER.
BTW, thanks for the rom. and gave me the opportunity to try it out.
I dont see camera icon.. ?!

Agree with you. But it's just a simple port I made within hours. I myself prefer omni and aosp. Was trying hard to port aosp, but no luck. Even tried to port MiUi, but again, a bootloop.
And the things go even worse when your USB isn't working. Form now I'll concentrate on omega to final it up and other ROMs in free time
Thanks for your suggestion

I have installed this rom because is only 4.4.4 rom (no os2sd) without gapps (the "remove gapps" flasable script doesn't work for me, tested with all recoveries). but gps doesn't work... sensor not present... reinstalled many time... any help? thank you
edit: found here a cm 11 pure rom (without gapps), "cm-11-20151209-UNOFFICIAL-p500.zip" (is a pure cyanogen mod), works fine. thank you

Thanks man, can u plz post some screen shots to see how it looks.
This is nice and dark. The inverted gaps are sweet. Wallet no works if you want it. I don't....
I had to uninstall apex and then install for the icons to be modifiable. Not sure why.
Else so far very nice.

question, can i use regular gapps? or is it required to use the provided gapps? =)
Clock
The clock when you put it in night time mode in landscape has a long wallpaper bar where the nav buttons would be.
Which base do you use?
I'm not sure but it is aosp isn't it?

What are inverted gapps? Can you explain what that's all about?
So far so good with this ROM. This is one of the fastest ROMs I've had the pleasure of using on the nexus 4. I also love the inverted gapps
This ROM is extremely pleasing to the eye, especially if you are someone who likes to use dark themes on their phones. Very nice work dev.

The easiest way that i can explain "inverted gapps" is that if the original app used a white theme, it would now be black. All the Google apps now have a dark/black theme to them . it is very nice looking. Even the keyboard has a very appealing black theme to it.

i loved this ROM on my Gnex. loving it on my N4 it's fast and responsive. There's enough customization to keep most folks happy :good:
I have been running this for a while now and the only issue I've came across is with Google now, it says there is an update and when I try to update I get an error stating that file was not signed correctly, try deleting app and try reinstalling. I have tried to delete it with Tb and it freezes after I click yes to delete, and then fc. I have even tried different gapps packages and each one brings its own set of issues, like voice search fc, search with camera fc. I tried the latest up date for gapps also and fc city, it was pretty tricky to go faster than fc screen to navigate to recovery. Anyone else experience issues like these and or found a solution.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I've been running this ROM for a week with no issue with Google Now updates popping up for me and is functioning smoothly (with a little delay) . Camera is stable when compared to CM10.1 (-1 week) it would lock up/FC doing rapid snap shots in low light. I'll tryout another ROM later in the week

Is this for JB or KK Bootloader? Or Both?
its for KK ill confirm with sources and update thread tomorrow
i tried to flash the 9/9/14 release and it says its for the bacon a0001.
edit - i went to the main site and this link says theres only a version from 201http://probam.net/android-kikat-download/?device=xt907
edit number 2 - i found this link on the main site for the moto_msm8960 http://sourceforge.net/projects/probam/files/moto_msm8960/aosb_kk_1.3.7_moto_msm8960.zip/download im testing it now!
edit number 3 - the rom runs great! one issue i found tho is when ever i try to use the ota updater for gapps it seems to freeze the phone up until its done downloading.
Fixxed Links
Tested as per OP request.
0. The version provided in OP (_xt907) doesn't boot under KK bootloader. Switched to _moto_msm8960 and it boots fine.
0.5. No boot animation? Wrong - but the animation appears very late in the boot process.
1. Fancy icons and animations everywhere (which I personally don't like - IMO KitKat should stay KitKat and not use Android L icons).
2. In quick settings, battery tile's text is positioned too low.
3. WiFi bug. Same as CM11 for KK BL (see CM11 discussion thread). Static IP doesn't work either.
4. GPS bug. Same as above.
5. Camera/camcorder/video playback: fine.
6. BT: fine.
7. 3G: untested - I can't seem to get CDMA 3G to work, although this is likely my own fault.
My own fault: I tweaked the wrong parameters in DFS. Don't mind.
8. Audio: fine, both speaker and headset.
9. SMS: fine. MMS: untested.
10. Torch: fine.
11. ART: let it sat for 30 minutes and it didn't boot up.
To me, this ROM looks like a highly enhanced CM11, although the visual changes here and there keeps me away from continue using it. Plus the WiFi and GPS bug. Reverting to CM11 JB BL.

Sure, and I guess that's why it has the same WiFi and GPS bugs as CM11 KK BL (using the same tree, perhaps?).

ok i'll look into rebuilding the ROM with kk bl
Hi. I'm on aosb_kk_1.3.7_moto_msm8960.zip, cause KK bootloader. XT907 device, unlocked. Let me leave some feedback
Cons:
1) Sometimes shell reboots - shows animated brand AOSB splash screen, and then after getting to desktop I can continue my work.
2) When I choose Themes, error - Trebuchet has stopped
3) When I'm trying to import contacts, error - Dialer has stopped
4) Can't choose HD+ hi fps mode (60 FPS) for video - camera crashes, have to erase app data.
5) Annoying notification about new update (pa_gapps_2.0.0_standard.zip), though I've installed it once.
6) NFC won't go disable in menu, have to silence it by force.
Pros:
1) GPS works, if you trick the phone with GPS Status & Toolbox
2) Great ROM, I love it )
If there is a debugger or something to catch that shell restarting bug, I would be happy to provide you with more info on issue
Version from SourceForge for moto_msm8960 - No WiFi problems, GPS works, found my position in building in cca 15sec.

known bugs? gapps?
I've tried everything, flashing with and without gapps, manually flashing the kernel first, with and without superSU, but it won't boot. It gets to the installing apps screen finishes them all and then it says starting apps and stays there. I've let it start the apps for more than 10 minutes, but it should only take a couple of seconds, so I'm pretty sure it's not working Btw did you build this from source?
No outgoing calls
Hi,
I can receive calls but I am not able to do any outgoing calls. I just receive the information that there is no network available.
Any idea

I'm using whiteneo homebuild. It's pretty stable, and my daily rom.
I don't think you developed anything here. This is just a thread linking to the official nightlies which are built by nuclearmistake. Its not compiled from source BY HIM. 0 percent work done by him

Wow ? will flash and report
Thanks.
So far really nice. Thanks. I'm looking for a kernel that works well with this ROM but has dt2w. Any recommendations?
It would be greatly appreciated if someone could take a few screenshots of what the custom ROM is like.
I like the features that comes with the ROM, though I'm wondering if it's supposed to be speedy and light on the battery (having little problems with battery life on 4.0.2 on a different ROM).
By the way, I've noticed that the ROM's site (http://flex-os.com, not the sub-domain) is down in some way, not sure if that was supposed to contain some information. Lol.
Yes, I've just noticed that this thread was put up 5 hours ago, so there should probably be a break before getting into all of that.
Over all, this does look like a great effort according to the OP and the video, so I appreciate the time and work put into this.
Thanks.

Runs great for me. Great list of features to.
Tons of option I have seen in a ROM working great but proximity sensor shouldn't be shutting down the screen while a call appear. If I want to cancel it. I must remove my hand from the sensor while I was playing a game. Other than that this ROM is awesome.
Is this CM or AOSP?
It's aosp I believe.
Best bootanimation ever seen, the one in this ROM
Inviato dal mio Nexus 4 con Tapatalk 2
Its cm based says so in OP
If I'll see in the future a "scrolling speed" feature to go along with all the other animation settings, then I might move from cm12.1 to FlexOS for good.

No, it's CM based.
That's why devs make OP's, so everyone can read the important stuff there...
Great work, downloading now for flashing. Thanks to devs?
Have been running this ROM since I found it about a week ago. It is smooth, responsive, and so far without noticeable bugs. The only thing I miss is the quiet time/interruption settings under sounds; excepting this it is nearly perfect so far. And for quiet times/interruptions Macrodroid comes to the rescue.
Great effort y'all. My thanks.
Nice ROM, it's have a fresh air, works fast without any major glitches... One small problem, after receiving a call the screen become brighter/white... It's back on normal color/brightness only after a restart. I will take a log when i will have some time. Thanks a lot for all your hard work!
Updated to the latest NIGHTLY FlexOS 5.1.1 20150609 everything is OK, working like a charm.
I would love to have support for S2W of Faux123 (sweep to wake) function added into the kernel.
Also i would love to have this ROM runing over the HTC Desire 606w (DualSim Online), but this is only a dream, it will never happen!
This project is dead or what? I see that the hosting is no longer available ....

You posted this thread with this ROM 4 times.
One question, is it the continuation of the old viper os (7.1.2)?

Can anyone update Volte Video Call?
I hope add slim recent
Battery drain is too much. Consuming 1% for just 3 mins. That too for fiddling with settings and nothing intensive.

Is there an option to adjust the quick settings panel rows and columns?
I think this first version drain my battery so much.
finally, viper comes back, thank you!
1. i think the du's button rebind better.
2. can we hide the input keyboard switch on the statusbar.
3. how about notification led colore setting.
4. swipe on the statusbar to change brightness.
5. gps seems slow fix. nos faster.
6. more qs tiles.
Thanks for updating ViperOS!
The OS so far seems to be pretty good but I do have a few suggestions for improvement in future updates:
Battery optimization seems to be a major issue. On MIUI 9, I'm able to go an entire day with a single charge in the morning. However, AOSVP needs 2 or even 3 charges to last the entire day.
In addition to excessive loss of battery, overheating of the phone seems to have become inevitable, staying in the high 50-60 range constantly unless specifically cooling it.
While the customization options present in the OS have functions not present on stock, basic functionality seems to have been lost. For example, the ability to set 2 different wallpapers, 1 for the lockscreen and the other for the home page, is no longer present .
Pop-up notifications like this
mess with some apps as it covers the keyboard, making it hard to type. I don't think there is a way to disable such notifications as of yet.
While not necessary, I'd love a feature similar to that of MIUI where you are able to "lock" recent apps such that when you clear all apps from your tray they remain running. This is very useful if you're playing music in the background and the phone becomes laggy, needing apps to be closed. The best option is to clear all apps but this leads to the music being stopped as well.
The ability to update the OS OTA seems to no longer be available. While I can live with this, being a custom ROM I'd at least like a notification from settings letting the user know when a new update is available on XDA or something.
