[Rom][CM11][4.4.3][LG UI][Need Help]

Hello XDA Members today I bring you an lg g3 rom for our nexus 4 this rom is based of cm11 with android 4.4.3
And this Rom Brings you the look and feel of the lg g3, soon I will add more lg g3 apps and stuff like that but I will need a little bit of help
from some devs

Hi..Thanks for preparing this skined rom. Saw you on cm11 touchwiz rom but cant help as all I can do is compile things on cm11 like you have done. Sawing your interest to build on cm11, you can make xperia z2 rom fully on cm11. I made it but didnt post it as somebody has already posted it build on old cm11. In case you need the links to build z2 rom just tell me. Regarding this rom developer wulsic is already working on stock lg kitkat rom. Maybe he can help you. Check his thread in general section

Yeah and about wulsic I'm helping him with the rom

I flashed this with CM 11 4.4.3 gapps and the play store couldn't connect, my Google info could not be synced. I was connected to WiFi and had no other issues, jus couldn't get started...

try reflashing rom

great idea, it's nice to enjoy various skined rom ( sony / lg ) , aosp is more simple and fast but looks so poor! i try your work dude:good:

FAQ:
No more updates after 4.8.8 ?
-> Miui doenst support jb 4.2 after 4.8.8, so there won't be anymore miui updates. But i'll added UpdateMe, an updatetool where i will upload bug fixes if needed. Also i will add some more stuff to UpdateMe till we have a working recovery for 4.4 for new miui updates.

Knock On doesn't work.
-> Download this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.uniquedroid.lgg2hiddenmenusettings , now you can open the Hidden settings. Choose "Settings -> update Touch Firmware" after that Knock On should work.Don't touch anything else on the Hidden settings !
I've got a FC when someone is calling me / when i try to call someone from recent list
-> Please report if you got this, till then this bug is noticed as fixed for me.
The keyboard is to small.
-> you can resize the keyboard on the keyboard settings (its the g3 keyboard)
You can add XX Lg app ?
-> I will later add an App where you can choise some of them.
There is no Radio app ?

He needs these. I was going to do it but got busy.
the boot.img and /system/lib/modules folder.
You can pull the folder via adb or use a root explorer to copy it to your sdcard.
For the boot.img you can use adb

adb backup-f boot boot.img
Or as far as i know flashify is also able to make a boot.img backup

Okay i will do a factory restore when i have time for the d950.

I'm pretty sure Playful God got a recovery to work on KitKat with his app but not sure. If so can you just flash back to a 4.2 backup if on KitKat or should I just use the LG Tool. Been awhile since I've done that. Heck been a little while since I flashed anything. lol

So far the recovery on kk only works with his specialized ROM CM 11, a WIP meant mainly for developers, and very advanced users at this point who can contribute to the development process or at least effectively troubleshoot problems.

Yea I've been following his thread. Just wasn't sure.

I see finally some developments in ROM custom versions for this phone either on CM 11 or some other as this one...
It seems that custom recovery TWRP and Freedom Flex are giving us more custom Roms now, and hoping that it will expand on AOSP and Omega Roms as well...

More alternative for us to choose. But out of MIUI, Flyme and Lewa, I think, Flyme is the best.

The ROM needs to have a link to Kernel sources. We also prefer for the ROM to be officially supported on XDA

I had to flash "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.02" from recovery. worked for me..

Sry for OT.... Is this better than MIUI? Have anyone used official miui from their site? Is it smooth? I like thier ota updates. Does this rom also have ota update(small size)

Its still fairly early to judge.i like it more i think than miui but thats just my opinion. It runs quite nicely.

Just flashed this aand i lost my cwm. Tried to wipe with existing recovery and now it fails to boot. Any help to bring back cwm?

There's not enough info man. It looks nice though. But for example, is this 4.4.4 base or 5.0? It looks like 5.0, but it could have been heavily themed too.

lol I was too tired to write more info and its heavily themed but its beautiful and stable .

I'll be flashing this with multirom to try it out, looks like a pretty iOS themes skin.

After Lollipop hits, I don't think I'll go for any other roms beside Android native. Reason being with these types of rom, they try to imitate iOS look and feel which I don't like. (this and MIUI)

I think the gaaps are included in the rom as per the instructions no mention of installing gapps

I have flashed pa_gapps .4.4.4 and it gave me FC issues trying to setup my google account. According to what I have read One+ has a similar YunOS version and accordingly its based on Android 4.4.2, so I am thinking maybe pa_gapps 4.4.2 is compatible with this. I will try to flash using MultiROM and feedback later what happens.
